Edd had to wonder why his life was the way it is. His parents had decided to send him to the other side of the world for his education. What was once concern for his friends became confusion and eventually exhaustion when, somehow, Ed and Eddy came with him as well. Fortunately, despite Ed and Eddy's...lackluster grades and Edd's One-Star ranking, Gamagoori pointed out that there was technically no rule or curfew forbidding the boys from staying in Edd's apartment.

And a good thing too; he heard the No-Star slums did not even have showers. After straightening out his new uniform, Edd went to check his friends. He frowned as he peaked into Eddy's room, secretly glad he did not have to check Ed's room too. Right now, his friends were drawing black stars on their own uniforms, though Ed might be drawing too much. "Eddy, is this another scam?"

"As if I'd scam myself." Eddy held up his uniform, a crudely draw four-pointed star drawn on the jacket. "Behold, instand One-Star Uniform!"

Ed also held out his uniform, though all that black ink turned it into a suit with a top hat. How the boy colored outside the lines as he held it up was still a mystery. "I'm a kazoo."

"Ed...that is not going to work." Edd turned his attention back to Eddy as Ed began to dress up. "Eddy, I don't think the school that made the uniforms would be fooled by that. I'm worried that they'll punish you since they have a strict policy on the academic rankings."

Eddy brushed him off as he snapped his uniform on. "Yeah right. As if they'd kill people for breaking the rules."

The Ed Boys gawked as they saw Ira Gamagoori, Head of Discipline Committee, whip a student for stealing a One-Star Uniform. Eddy shivered upon the spectacle. It was a good thing that they were still in class.

"Double D! Mandy's sister is up there!" Ed shouted.

Edd peered up. "No, that's Satsuki Kiryuin. She's the Student Council President for this school. I believe that her mother funded the majority of the school."

The Eds backed away from the window. Suddenly, it was a not a good thing they were still in class. Gamagoori was peering through the second-floor window with his feet on the ground. "To steal a One-Star Goku Uniform is bad enough, but to make a counterfeit Uniform is still punishable!"

"What? This? It's a ink stain!" Eddy quickly erased the star on his shirt. Gamagoori continued to stare at him, though he decided it was not worth punching windows and left.

"Goodbye, Godzilla." Ed waved him away.

Ed looked at his opponent with worry. Down at the stands, Edd and Eddy were worried as well.

"Don't worry, Ed's super strong." Mako tried to cheer Ed on.

"Unfortunately, Ed was raised not to hit girls." Edd pointed out. Indeed, Ed had the luck to fight against Nonon Jakuzure, who was most definitely a girl.

Before Ryuko could say anything, Eddy grumbled. "His little sister is evil incarnate."

Back at the stage, Ed wondered what to do. He did not want to fail Ryuko and Mako and his friends, but he did not want to hurt this girl either. Then he was happy when Nonon transformed.

"Cool! You are a transformer!" Ed grinned. "Can you become a spaceship?"

And much to his friend's horror, they found out that Nonon's big musical tank can indeed fly. And it was shooting missiles too. "Ed! Fight back!"

"But I can't hit a girl!" Ed continued to run, fortunately running in circles and not off the edge.

"Ah, is Super-Dumb afraid to hit a little girl like me?" Nonon taunted from the air, directing her attention to the crowd. "Wow, Miss Transfer sure has a poor selection of friends. A weakling, a con-artist, and a slacker! Wake up! This isn't some game with a rag-tag team of winners! In fact, a bunch of rags would probably make better friends!"

Satsuki would have reprimanded Nonon for her excessive mouth, but she noticed that Ed had stopped running. It seems that people should not insult his friends.

"You are not girly." And indeed, Ed pulled out a marker and drew three stars on his jacket. "Three-Star Transformation: Alien Monster Zombie Regalia."

"What." Nonon stared down at Ed. "You're not serious, are you?"

And then Ed ripped off his clothes and pulled out another grey garb. Edd paled as he saw the costume. "Oh dear. I thought we got rid of that thing after that episode."

"What?" Ryuko looked at Ed as he put on his costume. "Wait, his 'transformation' is your version of a tentacle monster?"

Eddy snickered. "He went monster-crazy and snatched up all the kids from the cul-de-sac. Hey, anyone got a camera? A film of Edzilla and Mecha-Midget could make millions."

Nonon would have something to say about that, but Monster Ed had jumped onto her face.

((I also figured, at this time, that Ed could fight against Gamagoori, though I don't think an Ed/Mako pairing was feasible at this point, plus it would be boring for both Ed and Gamagoori to basically tank each other.))
