((Was going to do another Team 7 swap, but I decided on something else.))

Nui was not happy. Sure, she was warm and well fed at the orphanage, but a particular child wasn't. Oh, she did not like how the matron told the parents how bad the child was when she never set a good example. She did not like how she would threaten the children with time outs if they wanted to play with the boy. And worst of all, she did not like how the children never told the Hokage about the boy's treatment even though the Hokage always asks about him.

Then again, the matron did stop her the first time she tried to speak out and had "wisely" kept her locked up whenever the Hokage visits. Nui also realized that she was the one child that adults would want to adopt, no doubt due to the matron's manipulations. However, Nui would only go with her new parents if they accepted the boy as well, and even though the adults still adopted her, she always returned a few days afterwards after her new parents...moved away.

But Nui was tired of waiting for the right parents. It was obvious that no one in Konoha would look at the boy, and even that one ninja from Kumo, who kidnapped her, did not even bother to go back for the boy. Fortunately, her "bloodline" still existed, and her Kumo puppet committed suicide by Hyuuga clan.

No, Nui had decided to find a new set of parents. She wrote two letters, then she simply waited. Just when the next adoption day came by, her scheme succeeded.

Sarutobi knew he was getting too old for this job. Sitting across his desk were Kushimaru of the Seven Swordsman and Kakuzu, the man said to have fought the first Hokage. It was only to his luck that the two powerful shinobi were fighting each other before his ANBU came. "Tell me, what were you two doing in Konoha? More specifically, why were you two fighting at an orphanage."

"He started it." Kushimaru pointed his finger at Kakuzu, who only shook his head.

"Stupid brat." He grumbled. "While Kushimaru's head was tempting, I originally came here because I heard about the Kyuubi Jinchuuriki."

"You came for the Jinchuuriki too? The kind of people with demons in their guts?" Kushimaru brightened up as he put his arm around Kakuzu's neck. "Wow, we think exactly alike! We're like super buddies-"

Kakuzu growled. "The reason I'm not removing your hand now is because the ANBU here aren't worth much."

Kushimaru quickly withdrew his hand and tried to brush the dust off Kakuzu's shoulder. Sarutobi did not chuckle at his antics, however. "How did you know that Naruto was the Jinchuuriki?"

"He is? I just made that up." Nui admitted. The ninjas turned around and saw Nui and Naruto near the window. "So which one does he hold? I heard the matron call him a fox, so that makes him..."

Naruto looked at Sarutobi. "Does that mean I'm the Kyuubi?"

Kushimaru laughed. "Hell no! Bijuus are the last thing you want to get near. People fear Bijuus, but they like to pick on their Jinchuuriki. I mean, the Bijuus don't feel their container's pain, and..."

He whithered under Sarutobi's glare. Kakuzu only shook his head. "I don't care about Jinchuuriki much, but they're not the Bijuus themselves. Otherwise, you would also be twins from Kumo as well. And why doesn't the boy know? Jinchuuriki that are trained should at least know they have the Bijuu inside them."

"I wanted to protect him from outside elements and give him a normal childhood. I'm afraid that is a moot point now." Sarutobi sighed at his failure. He shook his head and looked at Naruto. "Although these shinobi are bad, they do have enough experience to tell the different between the beast and its container. You are not the Kyuubi, Naruto."

"It would have been cool if you were, Naruto." Nui countered as Naruto looked at her confused. "You could trounce the other villages, and it would take their own kages to bring you down. That would be a great boast for a future Hokage."

Kushimaru nodded, but then shook his head when the Hokage frowned. "Nui, why did you risk the village's safety by tricking these two?"

Nui smiled. "Because the matron won't let Naruto be adopted. I just wanted parents who would take me and my brother together, for my brother to know what having a mom and dad is like. I just found a book and it was filled with adults. They were expensive, but I promise to pay them later."

Kushimaru turned to Kakuzu. "You're a mommy?"

"You're an idiot." Kakuzu glared at him. He turned to Nui. "So, you thought a Bingo Book was for ordering parents, then you lured us with the promise of a young Jinchuuriki to train, which turns out to be true. Now, why should bother playing house with you if I can just take the boy?"

Nui whispered in his ear. Kakuzu nodded. "Hm, not how I usually do things, but if it is as profitable as you say, I suppose I can stay a bit."

"Oh, me next!" Kushimaru leaned down. "Yes, yes...Ah, I get to sow clothes when he transforms into a giant fox? My greatest dream has come true. I'm in!"

"Wait, I'm not the fox but I can turn into him? How does that work?" Naruto blinked. Nui shrugged, not having even whispered anything to the swordsman.

Sarutobi slammed his hand on the desk. "You two are nins from enemy villages, missing nins at that! I can't just let you take these two!"

"But, but look at these sad faces." The masked Kushimaru pulled a confused Naruto and a smiling Nui close together. "Come on, I'll even through in what I know about Mizu. By the way, a Jinchuuriki can become a Mizukage, little guy, even though he is destroying bloodlines right and left."

Kakuzu calculated his next move. "My most recent information is in regards to a young organization called Akatsuki. I do know their two goals is to acquire a lot of money and to capture the Jinchuuriki. I suppose after this, my invitation will be nullified, so the proposal should be worth it."

Sarutobi knew this was a hard decision. He was going to regret it either way, but right now, he did not want to weaken Konoha. "There will be a probation period, but if you agree to become Konoha shinobi and not take Nui or Naruto out of the village, I will waive most of your crimes. You will still need to pay for the property damage to the orphanage..."

Nui tuned out the rest of the Hokage's words. All she cared for were two things. Having two shinobis who know their threads will help with resurrecting the COVERs, but without that nosy matron in the way, there was no one stopping her from treating her brother the way he should be treated.

With lots of love and cuddling.
