Happy New Year! Enjoy!

*New Year Kiss*

The ninja and Serpentine are gathered at the Bounty, ready to welcome the New Year. Among them, Pam and Pythor stood side by side, looking over the side at the people down below gathered around Ninjago City's landmark tower to watch the New Year Ball drop.

"I can hardly believe that this year is about to end and a new one's to be born," Pam stated after the ball starts to go down and the crowds begin to count down. "Time sure does fly when you're having fun."

10…9…8…

Pythor then took the Wind Ninja into his arms with a smile.

"Well, then," he stated, "maybe we should slow down a little."

7…6…5…4…

Pam turned to him with a smirk.

"I think we should too."

3…2…1!

The two then pressed their lips together to kiss as they all cheered for the New Year that has finally come. They stood that way for about five to ten seconds before parting once more.

"Happy New Year, Pamela…"

"Happy New Year, Pythor…"

*Middle Initial*

"Hey, Pythor," Lloyd asked, "can I ask you a personal question?"

"Sure," the Anacondrai answered, not looking up from his book. "What do want to know?"

"What does the P in your middle initial stand for?" That was when Pythor looked up at him.

"My middle initial?" he answered. "Oh…it's 'Prometheus'."

"Prometheus?" the boy replied with an arched eyebrow. "As in that guy who was chained to a rock for bringing fire to earth?" Pythor nodded in answer with a "Hmm". "So…why did you choose Prometheus?"

"For a middle name? Well, actually, it is customary in my family for the firstborn son to have the father's first name as his middle name."

"So your middle name's Prometheus because your dad's name was Prometheus?"

"That's right."

"Okay," he replied before leaving. "Thanks, Pythor." Pythor then returned to his book, content with satisfying Lloyd's curiosity.

*Poker*

Pam's in a real pickle now. She's fighting for her ninja brothers' lives against her romantic rival Pythor. Well, the battle is going to be a game of poker, but you know what I mean.

"Here's the deal, Pamela," he said to her as Skales shuffled the deck like a pro from Las Vegas. "Instead of chips, we wager something else. If I win, I shall free your fellow ninja and not bother you for a whole week."

"But if you win?" Pam asked with a suspicious glare.

"I will still let them go," he answered with a smirk, "but in return…you must stay with me and allow me to court you every night for a whole week. Oh, and I get to kiss you after each date."

"Pam, don't do it!" Zane warned from within the cage he and the other ninja are trapped in. But the girl knows that she doesn't have much of a choice.

"Deal!" With a nod from Pythor, Skales dealt out the five cards to each of them. They then took their respective hands and looked at them. As they were, Skales shuffled the deck again. The ninja guess that he did that to insure no cheating. When he's done, Skales turned to Pam.

"How many?"

"Two," she answered, taking out two cards and placing them face down before her before shuffling the deck once more. Skales then dealt out two cards to her, and she placed them into her hand before a smile came to her face. The others can tell that it's a good sign.

"Pythor?"

"Two as well." He was then given two new cards to replace the ones he discarded. He then looked up at Pam with a straight face.

"Care to go first, my lady?"

"You bet," she answered with confidence before revealing what she has. "Three queens and two aces; full house."

"Nice one, Pam!" Kai said to her with a smile.

"Yes, very nice indeed," Pythor said to her before he showed his hand, one card at a time. "Ace of Hearts, King of Hearts, Queen of Hearts, Jack of Hearts, and Ten of Hearts. Oh, will you look at that. I have a royal flush…a romantic royal flush." All six ninja felt their hearts sank. Pam lost!

"No!" Cole cried, trying to break down the bars. "Pam can't loose! You must've cheated or something!" But Pam remained calm, not wanting to flip out and scare her brothers.

"Very well, Pythor," she said to him. "A deal's a deal." Pythor just smiled before taking her hand and kissing it in front of the shocked ninja. He then turned to Skales.

"Take them to the carriage," he said, "and tell it to take them to Ninjago City.

"Pam, you can't!" Jay protested as Skales activated the device to make the cage move.

"Oh, now don't you worry, ninja," Pythor explained suavely. "It's only going to be a mere one-hundred-sixty-eight hours."

"I thought you said it's gonna be a week," Lloyd demanded as the cage rolled away.

"He did," Zane explained. "Twenty-four hours and seven days make it one-hundred-sixty-eight hours." Lloyd groaned in reply as the cage went out the door.

"I knew I should've paid more attention to math," he groaned before the door closes, leaving Pam alone with Pythor.
