A/N: Hey guys! Thank you so much for all the feedback. I really love hearing your opinions, so feel free to ask any questions or give me any suggestions you might have!

Now, on to the story. So, this chapter is really more of a filler chapter than anything, but I felt like there needed to be a transition chapter before the next one (which hasn't been written yet, but is going to be pretty big). So here you go!

A few weeks had passed since Nick and Miley became engaged. She and Belle had permanently moved in with him. Which it was time for her to get out of Lilly's place anyway. She loved living with her best friend, but they both needed their own space. She had also, with her family's support, decided to get into singing again. It would be by bringing Hannah back, since she was already an established musician and, more importantly, this would keep her own life private.

She and Nick agreed that he shouldn't take on a secret identity. At least, not for the time being. Because, frankly, he wasn't too thrilled about the prospect of being in the spotlight. Besides, he was in love with Miley, not Hannah. Of course, he wouldn't hesitate to step in if she needed him. But Hannah would have a bodyguard, so that wasn't likely to be an issue. Lilly seemed none too reluctant to bring Lola back, and her dad had already offered to be her manager again. So, it wasn't like she would be doing this all alone.

Nick would be supporting her every step of the way. It would just be from behind the scenes. Kind of similar to what Jackson used to do. And she was perfectly fine with that. She was just excited for the chance to sing again. Though a part of her did worry about how she would balance her career with her family.

"Are you gonna get to ride in a limo?", Belle asked as she was making dinner one night. She was absolutely fascinated with the idea of her mom being on TV and in magazines.

"Probably. But the cool part is that nobody is going to know that it's me. Except you, daddy, grandpa, Uncle Jackson...okay, most of the family will know it's me. But ordinary people won't."

"Cool! Wait, so I can't tell people at school that it's you?"

Miley shook her head. "Afraid not, sweetie. Do you think you can keep this a secret?"

Belle smiled proudly. "I'm the best at keeping secrets. Ask daddy."

"Ask daddy what?", Nick asked, kissing Miley on the cheek. "God, it smells good in here. What is that, lasagna?"

"With my special homemade garlic bread", Miley replied. "And Belle was just telling me that she's good at keeping secrets, and that I can ask daddy. You wouldn't happen to know what that's about, would you?"

"What? Not at all", he said, waving his hand to dismiss the notion.

"Mmm-hmm. Well anyway, my dad's supposed to be bringing the wigs and costumes over tomorrow. Are you sure you don't want one? Hannah doesn't have to be single."

Nick crossed his arms as he leaned up against the counter. "Well, Hannah can always get a boyfriend in the future if I change my mind. Right?"

Miley gave him a slight smile. "Yeah, I guess. But you're missing out. It can be a lot of fun pretending to be someone else."

"What's my fake name gonna be?", Belle wondered, propping her elbows up on the counter.

She shrugged thoughtfully. "Whatever you want, I guess. Within reason though. Nothing too crazy."

"I like Katniss!"

Nick laughed. "Katniss Montana. You got to admit, Mi, it's got a nice ring to it."

Miley rolled her eyes with a smile. "And nothing that is obviously stolen from a popular movie."

"What about something that rhymes with Hannah?", he suggested. "Like...Jana or Lana or-"

"Vannah!", Miley said, snapping her fingers. "It can be short for Savannah. It's perfect! What do y'all think?"

Both of them nodded, and smiled at her.

The next day, Robbie Ray carried the large box through the front door. "Here we are, girls."

Miley and Lilly exchanged excited smiles as Nick closed the door behind the older man. Robbie Ray had barely set it on the coffee table before they were digging through it.

Lilly shrieked as she pulled out four wigs of various colors. "Ohhh! My babies! I missed you so much!"

Nick couldn't help but laugh, watching his sister-in-law try on the hot pink one. "Hey, Lilly", he said, getting her attention. "Say cheese."

"Nick!", she yelled as he snapped a picture with his phone. "Why would you do that?"

"Joe wouldn't believe me if I didn't have proof. It's damn near impossible to find a picture of Lola Loveangel anywhere. Believe me, we've been looking for quite some time."

"Okay, it's Lufnagle", Lilly said emphatically.

Miley laughed as she pulled her own wig out of the box. It had been altered a bit for a more mature look. But it looked very similar to what she remembered. Slowly, she fitted it onto her head.

"Looks like Hannah Montana's back in business", her dad smiled. "How does it feel?"

"Pretty good."

"You look beautiful", Nick commented. Then again, he was fairly certain that she would look beautiful in any hair color. Even that pink thing Lilly was wearing.

She smiled back at him. "Thank you."

"Mommy!", Myles called, running out of the kitchen into the room. "I think Ana-...Mommy, what's on your head?"

Lilly laughed. "A wig. What, you don't think it looks amazing? People went nuts for my hair back when me and Aunt Miley were kids."

"I don't seem to remember this", Miley teased.

"Gosh, you can't play along for my kid?"

Myles decided to just stick to the topic at hand. "Mommy, Ana stinks...bad. I think she needs a new diaper."

Lilly sighed, and went to check on her daughter. While Miley pulled out the red wig from the box. Except for the color, it looked just like the original Hannah wig.

"That one must be for 'Vannah'", Robbie Ray remarked.

She nodded, looking across the room at Nick. He was now staring at the fireplace.

"Dad, do you think you could give us a minute?", she asked softly.

He looked at Nick and then back at his daughter. "Yeah. I'll just go see if Belle needs any help feeding Mittens", he said, referring to the light gray kitten that Nick's mother had gotten for their first family pet.

After he left the room, Miley walked to the fireplace. "Hey. Is something wrong?"

Nick's eyes shifted to her, and he shook his head with a smile. "No. Everything's fine."

"I don't believe you."

He let out a sigh. "Okay. I just started thinking and...maybe I'm just a little bit worried about how all of this Hannah stuff will affect us. I mean, the more I think about it...she'll have to do tours and stuff, right? She'll have shows all over the place. You'll constantly be having to travel. And that's okay with me. But what about Belle? She has school and everything. I don't want to have to raise her by myself, Miley. I need your help."

She smiled, and slipped her arms around his neck. "You won't have to raise her by yourself. Look, I've thought about all of that too. Yeah, I'm going to have to travel, but I'm going to make sure that it's not an all-the-time thing. And there will certainly be no touring for long periods of time when you guys need me here. You and Belle come first to me. But I don't have to do this, Nick. If you have a problem with it, there's still time for me to get out."

Nick shook his head. "I don't want you to do that."

Miley gave him a small smile. She pulled off a double life once. She really hoped that she could do it again.

Lying in bed that night, Miley found herself unable to sleep. Even with Nick's arms wrapped securely around her. She had been informed by her dad a few hours ago that Hannah was now scheduled to re-emerge on a nationally popular morning show. She was due in New York next week. Practically everyone was coming with her for the first event.

It was hard to believe that it was all happening so fast. It was exciting. Thrilling, really. The chance to sing in front of thousands of people again. To hear them screaming for her. It was a feeling like none other.

Her eyes moved to the diamond ring on the nightstand, shimmering in the moonlight. She smiled. She couldn't wait to start planning her wedding. This was going to be tough though. Balancing all of these aspects of her life. For the next few months, she was going to be a fiancee, a mom, a revamped celebrity, and a wedding planner. Or maybe she could just hire one of those.

"You're not going to get much sleep tonight, are you?"

She grinned, and turned over to face Nick. "Probably not. I thought you were asleep."

"I was. But a guy can only sleep through so much tossing and turning."

Miley gave him an apologetic smile. "Sorry. I guess I've just got a lot on my mind. When I'm not thinking about our wedding, I'm thinking about Hannah coming back in less than a week. And all the chaos that's gonna come with her."

"I guess it's a good thing that we're experienced in dealing with chaos then, huh?"

"Yep."

"Are you nervous yet?", Nick wondered.

"You have no idea", she replied. "But I'll get through it. Because I'll have you and the rest of the family there to support me."

"We'll always support you", he promised.

"Are you absolutely sure you don't want a wig? It's not too late. We could be on stage together. Tons of people screaming for us. It would be f-un", she said in a sing-song voice.

Nick sighed. "I think so. Baby, this is your deal. I'll be cheering you on every second of the thing, but this comeback is about you."

Miley gave him a faint smile. "You're pretty amazing. You know that?"

"Well...I may have been told that once or twice."

She giggled, and brushed her lips against his. This chance to sing again was just the latest blessing in her life. But the love that she and Nick felt for each other was the best. She hoped that she would never, at any point, have to choose between him and her career. But if she did, the choice would be an easy one.

The next day, Miley met Lilly for lunch at their favorite little cafe. Nick and Joe were working and the kids were at school, so it was just the two of them plus Ana at their regular little corner table.

"I am so excited", Lilly gushed, fiddling with the straw in her glass of water. "I mean, I know we're not going to be able to do all of the stuff that we used to do. All those awesome parties and celebrity events...but it'll still be fun. And you're gonna get to sing again! You must be over the moon right now."

She nodded, smiling at her friend's enthusiasm. "I am. And everyone's been so supportive. Especially Nick."

"Your fiance", Lilly teased. "Have you guys started talking wedding dates yet?"

She shook her head. "No, not really. Everything's kind of been Hannah-centered lately. But we're thinking this summer. Probably June."

"June?", the blonde practically shrieked. "That's less than five months away! You have to have more time to plan a wedding than that!"

Miley gave her a strange look. "What are you talking about? That's plenty of time."

Lilly sighed. "Miley, I've had a wedding. It took a whole lot longer to get everything perfect than I thought it would. And you're already going to be pressed for time with the Hannah thing! Look, why don't you let me take care of everything? I know you and Nick a lot better than some wedding planner would anyway."

"What? Lilly, I'm not letting you plan my wedding. You have your own life. You have two kids and a husband who need your time a whole lot more than I do."

"I can multi-task", the blonde said confidently. "I mean, it's not going to be anything like the multi-tasking you're going to be doing."

"What about Lola?"

Lilly crossed her arms. "Come on. Lola doesn't actually do anything except keep Hannah company ever once in a while. I can do this, Miley. Please."

That didn't make her feel a whole lot better. Because frankly, she just knew Lilly would take a job as her wedding planner way too seriously. Or she would try to throw some crazy big wedding where the whole town showed up.

She sighed as she looked at her excited friend. "Okay."

"Yay!", Lilly said, clapping her hands together. "I promise you won't regret this. You're going to have the most amazing wedding ever."

"Not so fast", Miley replied, putting her hand up. "There are ground rules. First of all-"

"Wait a second. Do you have a pen and some paper?"

She rolled her eyes. "First of all, I don't want any craziness at my wedding. No rock bands, no acrobats, and no to anything else that we talked about when we were kids."

"Awww. Even the elephants?", Lilly teased.

"Yes. Second, I know weddings are expensive, but lets try not to go overboard with it. I don't want to have to file bankruptcy right after I get married."

Lilly began to speak, but Miley put her hand up again. "I know what you're gonna say, and I'm not counting on Hannah as a reliable source of income until we see how this comeback thing goes. And third, if I see you stressing yourself out about my wedding, you're as good as fired. Seriously, I'm not going to have you overworking yourself."

She nodded. "Deal."

So, looks like Miley's going to bring back Hannah so she can sing again. Right move or wrong move?

And I haven't started on the next chapter yet, but I am SO excited about it. We've seen the gang in Disney, now we're about to see them in NY. And a new character will be introduced too. But this may not be a very wholesome character...we'll see :)
