I don't own Dr. Who. Enjoy.
*Confused About Dr. Who*
"You know, Pythor," Pam said, leaning into his chest as they sat under a cherry blossom tree, "I just don't get Dr. Who." The Anacondrai looked down at her with an interested glimmer in his eyes.
"That science-fiction show? What is not to get? It's about the heroic adventures of this human alien called The Doctor who travels around the universe in a large blue phone booth."
"A British police box, actually," she explained. "Phone booths are thinner and red. Anyway, there are just some things about the show I don't understand besides the plot. I mean, Doctor Who? The Doctor? Why call him that? Is he trying to stay anonymous because of his enemies or because he doesn't want anyone to know that he's an alien called a Time Lord? And what's the deal with the Daleks? If they're so smart, why don't they make their robot suits taller and more intimidating than waist-high R2-D2 lookalikes?"
"I don't think they're that short," Pythor answered. "Where did this topic come all of a sudden?"
"Sorry," Pam answered with a shrug. "It's just so quiet that I just feel like starting up a conversation." They sat up with surprise at the sound of shouting and laser-shooting and watched as The Doctor and a couple of his allies ran past them, followed by three to five Daleks. After they were gone, all was quiet again except for the occasional birds singing in the tree.
"Well…there was something you don't see everyday," Pythor stated with bewildered interest.
"Okaaay…" Pam concurred. "Maybe you're right; their robot suits aren't that short."
*Best Man (sequel to Fussing Over a Dress)*
"So Pythor," Lloyd asked the Anacondrai as they walked down the hall. "Are you going to ask Skales to be your Best Snake since he's your second-in-command?" Pythor turned to him in reply, a confused look on his face.
"'Best Snake'?"
"You know, a Serpentine Best Man?"
"Oh, that," he replied with a chuckle. "Well, actually, Skales and I talked about it, and…we've decided you two should be my Best Men." Lloyd blinked with surprise.
"You mean…me and Skales?"
"Of course," Pythor answered with a smile. "After all, you were the one who Pamela and me together; it seemed only fair."
"I…I would be honored. But…I don't know how to be a Best Man."
"Don't worry; Skales has offered to show you the ropes since he knows how it's done." With a smile, Lloyd went up and hugged the taller snake.
"Thanks, Pythor. I promise I'll make you proud."
"I know you will."
*Surprise Outfit (sequel to Still the Same Inside)*
Pythor stood outside of Pam's room, dressed in a white tuxedo complete with a black tie and a red rose in the buttonhole of his chest pocket. The ninja and some others are throwing a formal party to celebrate his return and his joining their team, and Pam has agreed to be his date…especially when she has a 'surprise dress' for him.
Okay, Pythor, he thought to himself as he held onto the bouquet of red roses in his hand a tad tightly. Remember to keep your cool, and don't you go acting like some lovesick dingbat. As he thought this, the door opened to indicate Pam coming out.
He turned to face her…and gawked in awe. Pam has her hair gathered up into a curly ponytail held together with a diamond band, and she has on rose-red lipstick and blue eye shadow to bring out her eyes.
But her outfit is what really left him in awe. It was a pearl-white ball gown with no shoulders, arms, or neck. And on the front of the torso are some amethysts and topazes decorated to form a beautiful floral design. The skirt was also so long and poofy enough to hide her feet so he couldn't see her feet or the shoes she's wearing. She also has on white silk gloves going up to half of her upper arms, complete with a diamond bracelet on each wrist. She also has on a pair of diamond earrings and a lovely necklace of amethysts and topazes.
"So what do you think?" she asked with a slight blush. "I had it designed to commemorate your new look. Even the designer loved it." Pythor smiled in reply before taking her into his arms.
"When was the last time I kissed you?" Pam then thought about it.
"This morning before you left with Lloyd to run some errands after breakfast."
"Then you're overdue." He then pressed his lips into hers, and she returned the kiss happily.
