It was Cal's birthday and Connie had a big surprise for him...
Connie woke up in Cal's arms 'Morning Beautiful'
She smiled as he tucked her curls behind her ear and kissed her forehead
'Happy Birthday baby' She climbed on top of him kissing him passionately
Cals boxers immediately tightened as he felt his fiance mount him.
Connie smirked and kissed his neck as Cal put his hands up her silk night dress and held her chest.
'Maybe I could have a little birthday treat?'
Connie didn't say anything but reacted to that instantly and pushed his boxers down
'I'll take that as a yes then' He sat Connie and himself up
Connie wrapped her legs around his naked body and Cal lifted up Connie's dress and slipped inside her.
'Your perfect' Cal whispered in her ear
'Not as perfect as you are Dr Knight'
Connie and Cal spent the next hour or so rolling around the bed showing their love for each other.
They both lay on the bed panting 'Have i ever told you how good you are Mrs Beauchamp?'
'Every time' She kissed his cheek and put her dressing gown on
'Where you going?' Cal asked puzzled
'Well you can't have a birthday with out presents!' She made her way over to the wardrobe and got out a huge stack of presents and put them on the bed.
'Wow... Connie you didn't have to baby' Cal kissed her
'Well for all you know they could all be empty boxes' Connie teased
Cal opened a number of expensive presents from Connie and a photo frame with a picture of the 3 of them from Grace.
Connie leant over to her bedside drawers and got out another little one.
Cal opened it getting slightly excited after opening loads.
Connie looked at him biting on her lip smiling
Cal was shocked as her opened a positive pregnancy test meaning he was about to have a child with the woman he loved.
'I'm going to be a dad?' Cal said through tears of happiness
'Happy Birthday Daddy Knight' Connie cried with him then flung her arms around him.
'When did you find out?'
'A few weeks! So it's actually 20 weeks not 10 now' She smiles 'It's been so hard to keep from you! and wearing awfully baggy clothes to cover it up!'
Cal smiled 'Thats why you look fatter!' he then tickled Connie and she giggled.
The best birthday present i could ever asked for!
'And i've organised a scan for 1pm this afternoon'
'That answers my next question then!'
'And no Grace doesn't know yet! We can tell her when she gets home in a few weeks for half term'
'And the next' Cal laughed and looked into Connie's eyes
She leant in and kissed him taking in every moment and appreciating everything she's got feeling on cloud 9.
A few hours later the couple had bathed together and had a big brunch made by the house keeper Emma
'Come on Con we need to get going!' Cal was getting aggitated and excited as he waited for connie to find a pair of louboutins that went with her outfit of the day.
She finally made her way downstairs
'I've spent about £3,000 on shoes that all look the same!' Cal laughed and Connie gave him a playful slap
'Come on you, in the car!' They both walked out their rather large house and into Connie's Mercedes sports car and made their way to Holby Hospital
They walked hand in hand through the ED everyone smiling at the pair and wishing Cal a happy birthday. Tess knew about Connie and smiled knowing where they were going when they made their way over to the lift.
Cal pushed the button and they waited patiently for the lift to arrive.
'I love you' Cal whispered as they both stepped into the lift
Connie smiled looking down trying to hide her face with her hair from a colleague standing opposite them in the lift.
They stepped out onto materity and made their way to the reception desk and checked in.
'Girl'
Connie looked at him
'I want a girl, so she can be a daddy's girl'
Connie smiled 'I don't mind either but i'd love another girl'
'are we finding out today?'
'We can do if you want?'
'I'd love to' Cal smiled
'Connie?' Mr T came out to call the couple in
'Well... They're both looking healthy!'
Connie and Cal's eyes both widened 'Both?!'
'Yes you're expecting twins!'
Connie smiled 'Whats the sex?'
'Two little girls!'
Cal smiled he wanted one but two was a complete bonus.
'Well we can have a name each then!' Cal smiled and looked at Connie
'Come on lets get home, I need some food!'
