And after a long wait, here's Chapter 20! Yeah... The last few weeks have been busy for me with school but I've written the next chapter anyway. Enjoy!
"Last time on Total Drama Island, our final 7 had a bit of a problem when an unexpected storm washed them downstream. Being the good host I am, I wasted no time in searching for them! But while I searched, drama erupted from the campers as Hayden spilled the beans about his secret about Dutch and Charlotte, the only problem was that it wasn't true! This caused everyone to finally fight back against Hayden! While this happened Luis made up with a now changed Dutch and became friends with Tamara! All of this culminated into Hayden once again trying to rig the votes but due to my quick thinking of having Briar fix the rigged votes, Hayden was finally eliminated! Only 6 campers remain, who will advance to the final 5? Who will join the other 16 eliminated campers? Stick around and find out right here on Total Drama Island!"
The boys were in their cabin relaxing after Hayden's elimination.
"Finally, he's gone!" Dutch announced cheerfully.
"Yes, it's exhilarating to know that we don't have to worry about him anymore!" Luis added, Michael looked a bit uneasy.

Michael: Don't get me wrong, I'm glad Hayden's gone, but since there are only 6 of us left I've been thinking if I should vote Luis off, he's a really nice kid and all but I cant defend him forever. Plus if I make it to the finale with him he'd either give up, or he'd get worn down easily. Man this is hard...
Dutch: This is awesome, now I can focus on winning without any problems. And everyone likes me! From now on maybe things won't be so bad!
Luis: The Final 6! I thought it would only be a dream that I could make it this far! Thankfully I have friends by my side, even Dutch is my friend now! Things are looking up and they can only get better from here!
*end confessional*
The girls were also celebrating Hayden's defeat.
"Maybe now we can get some peace around here!" Corlissa noted.
"With Chris being the host, I doubt it..." Astrid stated.
"Right..." Corlissa replied. "So how does it feel getting payback towards Hayden, Tammy?"
"It's awesome, I feel like I could win! Tamara answered, the other girls chuckled at this.
"Well you have to beat us first!" Astrid said with a confident smile. Tamara laughed with them.

Tamara: The Final 6, and I made it here without Hayden!
Corlissa: I'm pumped that I made it this far! And I don't intent to lose anytime soon!
Astrid: I'm so close! I can't give up now!
*end confessionals*
The campers went to sleep, the next morning, they headed to the mess hall where Chef served them their usual breakfast. Everything was quiet until Chris walked in.
"Hello campers! Congratulations on making it to the final 6! I hope you're even more excited for today's challenge!" Chris exclaimed with a cheerful and delighted tone. None of the campers reacted. The interns walked in, Johan, Mike, and Ciana were carrying trays of disgusting and unique food, the others carried handcuffs and Sapphire had a skeleton key which she handed to Chris. "Today's challenge will have the 6 of you pair up into 3 groups of 2 and do three challenges. Best of three wins invincibility!"
The campers looked a bit underwhelmed.
"That doesn't seem to bad!" Luis said, he looked over at Michael who gave him a thumbs up.
"Or will it! See you don't get to choose your partners, I've already decided for you!" Chris responded. This surprised the campers a bit more.
"Here are the pairs, Astrid and Michael, Corlissa and Dutch, and finally, Tamara and Luis!"
The three pairs got together, Briar, Nikki, and Mike latched the handcuffs on. Chris then showed everyone the key.
"This Skeleton Key is your 'key' to freedom! Hehe." Chris began.
"Are you proud of that pun?" Ciana mocked, Chris gave her an annoyed look.
"Anyway, if you choose to give up the challenge, just let me or the interns know and we'll unlock the handcuffs. But if you do, you'll be at risk for elimination. As for your first of the three challenges, what you have in front of you is a fine meal prepared by Chef! What you have to do is pick which of you will eat and the other person has to feed you!" Chris finished, the campers debated about which of the three would eat.
"I'll do it." Michael said.
"What?! I'm not feeding you! I'll do it!" Astrid argued, the two continued arguing while the other 4 weren't having as much of a problem.
"You wanna eat this?" Dutch asked.
"Not really..." Corlissa answered.
"Alright, I'll take care of it."
"You sure?"
"Yeah, it shouldn't be too hard." Dutch said, Corlissa just shrugged at this and let Dutch do the eating.
"I'll do it Luis!" Tamara announced.
"Are you sure Tammy? I could do it if you want me to..." Luis replied.
"Of course! I won the Food Wheel challenge, plus no offense but you don't look like much of an eater."
"Well you're right about that! So it's settled, I'll feed you and you'll eat!"
"Ok, is everyone ready?!" Chris asked. The campers all nodded. "Ready? ... Go!" Everybody then began either eating something or feeding someone. Chris turned towards the interns. "Alright this might take a while, so I need three of you to go get the canoes ready. As for the rest of you, you can stay here and enjoy the show, or you can hang around for a while." Mike, Johan, and Nikki went to go get the canoes while Sapphire went to the cabin. Briar left to go explore the camp grounds. Ciana stayed to watched the campers compete.
Michael was quickly feeding Astrid the food which she ate just as quickly. The two did not speak as they were too focused on winning.
Corlissa almost matched Michael in the speed she was feeding Dutch, but Dutch was not eating as fast as Astrid.
"Wait I-"
"Hold on I-"
"Slow dow-" Dutch tried to shout, but he was quickly met with a spoonful of food.
"Don't talk just eat!" Corlissa yelled.
Luis was feeding Tamara rather slowlt, he waited until she swallowed her food to feed her more.
"Come on Luis, you need to go faster!" Tamara said, she didn't sound malicious, but the stress was starting to get to Luis.
"Sorry, but I don't want to rush you, I don't want you to choke!" Luis replied.
The three teams continued, despite the disgusting food, it seemed to go by rather quickly.

Chef: These kids just can't appreciate hard work when they see it!
Tamara: Luis is really nice, but if he wants to make it he'll have to forget about what others think and just go for it! ... Does that sound mean? I hope it doesn't sound mean!
Luis: I want to win, but I don't want to be held accountable if my team mate gets hurt!
Astrid: Michael could be tough to work with, but I'm not going to give up just because some guy wants to take control!
Michael: Astrid is tough! But if we can work together, we'll get through this without a problem.
*end confessionals*
While the contestants were in the mess hall and enjoy of the interns were getting the canoes ready for the second part of the challenge, Briar took the opportunity to explore the camp grounds a bit. She looked around for a while, seeing the sights and enjoying nature when she noticed a piece of paper nailed to a tree. She took the paper and read it. When she Fi is he'd she looked shocked.

Briar: This is a letter Charlotte wrote! It's addressed to all of us, I need to show this to everyone quickly!
*end confessional*
The three interns had just set up the canoes by the beach. They were heading back to the mess hall.
"So who do you think is going to win?" Johan asked.
"Not sure, but I'm honestly hoping Luis wins! I don't know why, I just like the underdog." Mike answered.
"I think Dutch should win! He's changed so much, and he's been through a lot since he got here!" Nikki replied. "What about you sweetie?"
"Honestly I think they all deserve to win, the earned their right to be here and they'll fight to win! "Johan noted. The three interns entered the mess hall, one of the teams was getting in their last spoonful of food...
"Astrid and Michael take the round!" Chris announced, the two campers high fived. Their plate was completely clean, Corlissa and Dutch were just a few bites behind, Tamara and Luis had about half of their meal left. Michael and Astrid high-fived.
"Now that that's all settled, meet me at the beach for the next challenge!" Chris explained, just as everyone was about to leave, Briar entered the mess hall.
"Chris I have this-" She said before Chris cut her off.
"Listen, whatever it is, I'm sure it can wait until later. For now, I need you help Chef clean this up, get Sapphire and get cleaning!" Briar shot him a dirty look before he called Sapphire over to help him. Ciana went to collect something from the woods that Chris notified her about.
A few minutes later, everyone except Briar, Sapphire and Chef were down at the beach. Ciana handed Chris the item he asked for.
"For part 2 of the challenge, you'll travel back to Boney Island and return the cursed idol that Kristen accidentally brought to the island!"
"Wait, Kristen brought it to the island?!" Michael gasped in shock.
"Didn't Nikki put it back?" Mike asked.
"Actually, she just cut it into three pieces and threw it out!" Chris explained, with his signature smile.
"Eww!" Everyone (except Chris) said.
"I didn't want to go back there!" She argued.
"It doesn't matter now, the three pairs will each get one of the pieces. Your objective is to find a cave on Boney Island and put the idol there!" Chris explained.
"How do we know what cave to put the idol in?" Corlissa asked.
"It won't matter!" Chris answered. "Now go!"
The 6 campers took off in the canoes, Briar, Sapphire, and Ciana arrived after finishing up with the cleaning.
"Chris listen I have a-" Briar started to say something but Chris cut her off again.
"Briar I'm sure you have important news, but this will have to wait until the challenge is over! For now, I need the 6 of you to go collect some logs, Chef will give you your next job afterwards!"
The 6 interns began to head into the woods, Briar sighed in defeat before she left.
The six campers rode their canoes towards Boney Island, the fact that they were handcuffed together made things a but trickier for them, but they had managed to get to the island without too much trouble.
"Why would Kristen take this thing from Boney Island?" Michael asked.
"Not sure, maybe she just thought it looked cool and took it? You should ask her when you see her again." Astrid answered.
"Yeah..." Michael replied with a hint of disappointment which Astrid caught on to.
"Wait... do you like Kristen?" She asked.
"Unfortunately I didn't get to spend too much time with her, but when she told me about her feelings for me, it really made me think."
"Well it looks like the tough guy is a big softy!" Astrid teased.
"Hey, don't get the wrong idea, I'm still focused on winning!" Michael argued, a slight blush crept onto his face.
*confessionals*
Astrid: Michael has a sweet spot for Kristen whether he likes to admit it or not. It's kind of cute.
Michael: Ok maybe I do like Kristen back, but my feelings for her won't get I the way of me winning. Even if I do want to see her again.
*end confessionals*
The three teams arrived at the beach of Boney Island, Chris arrived shortly after in a jetpack.
"Before you go and do the challenge, I wanted to make this challenge a bit more difficult! Hehe!" He announced, the campers groaned and argued against this, but Chris blew an air horn to get them to be quiet. "One of you will have to piggyback the other, that's it. Once you finish the challenge, come back to the other island. Take a moment to decide who's carrying who."
"I'll carry you." Michael stated.
"What?! I don't need you to carry me!" Astrid hissed.
"I'm carrying you because I don't want you doing everything!" Michael shot back at her, Astrid reluctantly agreed.
"Maybe you should carry me." Corlissa proposed.
"Yeah, no offense, but I don't think you'd be able to carry me... not because you're a girl! I'm just a big guy!" Dutch replied, trying not to make Corlissa mad. Corlissa gave him a suspicious look but quickly shrugged it off.
"I'll carry you Luis!" Tamara said to the small boy.
"Perhaps that would be best. I'm not fit enough to carry you... no offense!" Luis answered, just like Dutch, he was trying not to make Tamara mad.
"Everyone ready? Go!" Chris announced, everyone dashed as soon as the challenge began. The race was on.
Dutch and Corlissa were running through a path in the forest, Dutch was running with Corlissa on his shoulders, Corlissa held the piece of the idol. They soon heard some kind of roar that caught their attention.
"What was that?!" Corlissa asked in shock.
"Whatever it is I don't want to stay to find out!" Dutch answered, but before they escaped, the animal that made the noise, it was a Wooly Beaver.
"Oh gosh, this thing again?!" Corlissa hissed in disgust.
"No time to complain we gotta run!" Dutch yelled. Dutch ran as fast as he could to get away, but the Beaver was right on their tail. Corlissa saw an apple In a nearby tree and got an idea.
"Dutch run over to that apple tree over there!"
"This is no time for a snack!" Dutch shouted.
"No you idiot, I'm gonna use it to fight back!" She hissed. Dutch ran towards the tree, Corlissa grabbed an apple from one of the branches and threw it at the Beaver, it didn't cause too much harm but it distracted it long enough for the 2 to escape unharmed.
Tamara and Luis were making their way to the cave with little difficulty. They passed by a lake.
"I believe I know where we are. We passed by this lake our first time here didn't we?" Luis stated.
"I think so, and I think the cave is close by! I can't forget how creepy it was being in there..." Tamara answered.
"I agree, it was truly scary!"
The two continued on towards the cave, Tamara had the idol piece in her hand since Luis didn't have much of a throwing arm due to his weak stature. The two got closer to the cave, Tamara was ready to throw the piece... but a different idol piece landed there first! Tamara and Luis turned to see who threw the piece and saw Corlissa and Dutch!
"Dutch and Corlissa take the second part of the challenge!" Chris announced. "Luis and Tamara, you have one last chance to win, better step it up!"
The six campers returned to the main island, they stood in front of the cabins, there were a number of wooden logs that were cut to look like the heads of the previously eliminated contestants.
"This is the final part of the challenge! All you need to do is arrange a totem pole using the wooden carvings of the heads of the 16 past contestants!" Explained Chris, Briar and the other interns arrived about a minute later.
"Chris this is important! This is a-" Briar tried to explain before Chris cut her off for a third time.
"Look Briar, just tell me what you need to tell me later! I'm kind of in the middle of hosting a show here!" Chris was getting a bit irritated now.
*confessional*
Briar: Ugh! Chris' ignorance is starting to annoy me!
*end confessional*
"Alright campers, are you ready? ... Go!" The campers wasted no time in getting to the challenge, especially Luis and Tamara.
"Ok the first person eliminated was Tristan!" Dutch noted.
"Yeah, who could forget that idiot!" Corlissa hissed. "It was Ben next right?"
"Yeah, but who went after him?" Dutch questioned. Corlissa wasn't so sure of that either.
Michael and Astrid were going through the challenge a but faster, Astrid was looking for Kristen's piece to put it on next. She then noticed Michael was holding something out of Astrid's sight.
"Michael? Michael what are you doing?!" She yelled, she turned Michael around, revealing him to be carving a heart on the back of Wood Kristen.
"Aww no ain't that just the sweetest thing!" Chris teased. Michael became irritated at this, Astrid even had trouble holding him back, but she managed to get him focused on the challenge again.
Luis and Tamara had just set up Michiko's head and were moving quickly.
"Who's next?!" Luis asked.
"Dominic's next!" Tamara answered, Luis passed her the totem of Dominic's head and Tamara quickly put it on the pole.
This process continued until Dutch came across Charlotte's piece, he breathed a sigh of disappointment when he saw it, Corlissa took notice of this.
"Hey, don't look so down! You didn't get the girl but you made it far. You made friends here, and we've got your back!" Dutch smiled at her.
"Thanks... I needed that!" Dutch answered.
"Is someone getting sentimental?" Chris taunted "Aww, so the big bad bully still cares!" Chris was suddenly hit by Viola's totem piece, thrown by Corlissa.
Some time later, All 3 pairs were nearing completion of their totem poles. Tamara looked at the last remaining piece she and Luis had... Hayden's piece. She scowled when she saw it. She picked it up, but she wasn't planning to put it on the totem pole, she was about to throw the piece as far as she could.
"Tamara stop! What are you doing?!" Luis shouted, snapping Tamara back to reality.
"S-Sorry, I just couldn't bear to see his face again!" Tamara hissed.
"You don't need to worry about him anymore, he's gone!" Luis said. "I know you're still furious with him, but you've beaten him, you proved that you didn't need him!" Tamara smiled at him.
"Thanks, I needed that." She tried to put Hayden's piece on the top of the pole, but it was out of her reach. Luis glanced over at the other pairs, thankfully, they couldn't reach the top either. Luis then got an idea.
"Hey Tammy, lift me up! The increased height should give me just enough height we need to win!" He said. Tamara did as Luis instructed, the combined height of the two of them was indeed enough for Luis to put the last piece on the top of the pole, giving them the win!
"The game is over, Luis and Tamara have saved themselves! Or have they? Since each pair won a part of the challenge, nobody wins invincibility so everybody's at risk!" Chris exclaimed.
The sun was beginning to set, and the campers were making their votes, they all looked uneasy. Everybody was at risk tonight, nobody was safe.

Luis: I can't believe I survived this far, I think everybody here deserves to win. Even Dutch! It'll be hard to vote someone off...
Michael: Should I really do this?
Tamara: This vote is going to be SO hard!
Corlissa: It's nothing personal...
Dutch: *Sigh*
Astrid: Maybe voting you off is for the best? Maybe...
*end confessionals*
"Well... This ought to be good!" Chris chimed "The following campers are safe... Corlissa."

"And Tamara. Well, well, well. Dutch, you're no stranger to being in the bottom 2, and Luis, you're almost never in the bottom 2! But I don't make the votes. The final marshmallow goes to..."

"Dutch!" Dutch caught his marshmallow, Luis didn't look too upset by this however.
"Well that's it then..." He said.
"You're not upset?" Michael asked.
"Not really, I've made a lot of friends here! I even managed to beat Hayden!" Luis said triumphantly.
"Well Luis, your ride awaits." Chris said, Luis went off on the Boat of Losers with pride.
"And so we are left with the final 5! Who will be the next to go and who will steal the show? Find out next time on Total Drama Island!" Chris signed off.
And Luis is eliminated. Luis was a fan favorite and I can clearly see why. But why did I have him eliminated? Well to be honest, he kind of reminded me of Cameron, but that isn't a bad thing, Cameron is pretty coll in my opinion. But I thought it would be a bit cliché if Luis won the game.
