Happy Late Halloween everybody! I know it's November now, but I'm still in the Halloween spirit. Also, the poll regarding this fanfic is reaching it's deadline, this is your last chance to vote for who moves on to the next season! Other than that, enjoy the chapter!

Chef was making a meal in the mess hall kitchen, Chris was nowhere to be found.

"Last time on Total Drama Island, Chris wanted the interns to go ask the eliminated campers about their time on the island. Some are doing good and some aren't, but their all ungrateful! As for Chris, he's off hosting some fancy award ceremony so I'm left here In charge of the challenge. YOU GOT A PROBLEM WITH THAT?! Anyway stick around to see who gets voted off on Total Drama Island!"

The Final 4 campers woke up and were heading to the mess hall for breakfast. Despite them all being on good terms, they didn't speak to each other.

*confessionals*

Michael: Hmph. Didn't think I'd make it this far to be honest...

Corlissa: Alright, only 3 people left. It's Crunch Time!

Dutch: If I can make it this far, I know I can win!

Astrid: The Final 4... I'm gonna rock this game!

*end confessionals*

The final 4 entered the mess hall, Chef gave them their breakfast. As they were eating, they expected Chris to come barging through the doors, but he didn't show up. The interns weren't even there either.

"Hey, where is everyone?" Corlissa asked. Before anyone could answer Chef spoke to them from the intercom system.

"Attention maggots, meet me in front of the caves! NOW!"

The 4 campers wasted no time in heading to the caves, they didn't want to deal with Chef when he was angry.

Everyone met up with Chef in front of the same caves as the Emerald Maze challenge. Though the interns were still nowhere to be found.

"Where's Chris?" Astrid asked.

"Chris ain't here, so today I'M in charge of your challenge!" Chef exclaimed. The 4 campers were shocked at this.

"So YOU'RE going to in charge?!" Dutch stated in disbelief.

"YES! DO YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THAT MAGGOT?!" Chef shouted.

"Sir, no sir!" The 4 campers saluted.

"For today's challenge, you have to go through the caves and do all of the obstacles you come across. First one to cross the finish line on the other side of the cave is the winner." Chef explained.

"Seems simple enough..." Michael said.

"Oh, it ain't that easy! The interns are inside too. If you find one of them, they'll give you a clue about the next room. But the interns will leave the cave if they are found, any questions?" Chef added. None of the contestants said anything. "Good, now go!"

The interns quickly ran into the caves, but things were different in the caves. The lights We're a dim white rather than green, and all of the traps were different. The hidden passages were also different from last time!

Corlissa took a path that lead her to a room with a buffet of Chef's disgusting food. A sign was on the table where the food was, it said 'To continue, search for the pass to the next room in one of these foods. You HAVE to eat the food!' Corlissa sighed and began stuffing her face with a green quiche.

Dutch continued down a linear path before he came across what looked like a dead end. Dutch looked closer at the wall and discovered a hole in it, he crawled inside of it and entered another hallway that was much smaller than the one he was just in, Dutch had to be on his knees just to stay inside. Suddenly the wall behind him began to enclose the room, Dutch crawled away from it as fast as he could, in front of him were various walls that had word puzzles on them. There was also a screen with a quiz question on it, Dutch had to arrange the letters provided for him to answer the question.

The first question was: 'In what challenge was Caine eliminated in?'

Dutch thought for a second before the answer came to him. He arranged the letters to spell out 'Awake-a-thon' which made the wall disappear into the floor. Dutch made his way to the second wall.

This time the question was: 'What was the fruit that made Johan sick during the wheel of food challenge?'

Dutch struggled with this question, but he couldn't afford to waste any time, the wall behind him was getting closer...

Michael entered a room that looked similar to the Parkour challenge, though it was structured much differently, on the other side of the room, Sapphire was waiting patiently for someone to find her, she was filing her nails as she waited. The room itself had a turnabout that turned on its own at a moderately high speed, then Michael would have to jump onto spinning platforms, climb a rock wall and slide down to Sapphire. If he were to fall at any point, he would have to start over (except for the turnabout).

Michael eagerly took the challenge and was doing reasonably well, though spinning on the turnabout and being on the spinning platforms didn't help either, Michael eventually fell off of the rock wall. After a few tries, Michael eventually got rid of his dizziness and successfully got past the obstacle course, he met up with Sapphire, who had finished filing her nails.

"It's about time!" Sapphire teased.

"Hey, give me a break! It isn't as easy as it looks!" Michael responded.

"Anyway, here's the key to the next room. As for the room itself, you're going to have to survive 3 minutes against Sasquatchenakwa."

"3 minutes against what?!" Michael questioned in disbelief.

"A yeti..."

"No comment..." Michael stated, Sapphire handed him a key card that lead into the next room, inside was Sasquatchenakwa waiting inside of a boxing ring, he had red boxing gloves on. In the other corner of the ring was a pair of blue gloves for Michael. He entered the ring and put the gloves on, the fight had begun! Michael managed to get in a number of good hits before Sasquatchenakwa got him in the face!

"Hmph, a little fight in you, I like that!" Michael taunted as he began to retaliate.

Astrid was making her way through the caves until she came across a door, next to the door was a sign that read.

'This is the dark maze. You must navigate your way through to the other side.'

Astrid entered the maze, it was pitch black. She took a few steps into the maze and was startled to see the door shut behind her. As soon as It closed however, small lights illuminated the floor, making it easier for Astrid to navigate the maze. It would be dumb to be walking blindly through a maze in the dark with zero resources of light.

Astrid went through the maze for a bit until she found a dead end. However, there was a torch on the wall and another note next to it.

'This torch will help you see better for 2 minutes. The 2 minutes start as soon as you remove the torch from the wall. Make these minutes last!'

Astrid took the torch without hesitation, the extra lighting proved valuable and Astrid easily found the exit to the maze. She entered the next room and found Ciana hitting a punching bag. She turned and saw Astrid.

"Oh hey, about time someone came. I'll make this quick, the next room is basically a shooting range. Good luck." Ciana stated, she took the punching bag and pressed a button that was on the wall, the wall soon retracted, revealing a ladder that lead outside, once Ciana started climbing the ladder, the wall closed. Astrid entered the next room and saw 10 targets spread out across the room, there was a sign on a table in front of her.

'One of these targets will open the door to the next room.'

"Seems simple enough." Astrid said to herself. She looked around for the targets and noticed a chasm in the middle of the room. Astrid would have to not miss ANY of the targets...

Corlissa was still looking for the key to the next room, she had eaten through almost all of the food that was prepared except for a moldy sponge cake. Reluctantly, Corlissa began to eat the cake and bit into the key! She eagerly headed for the door and opened it, Johan waited in the next room.

"Hey Corlissa, glad you made it!" He greeted. "You have to be extremely quiet in the next room, there are bears sleeping and they get REALLY grumpy if you wake them up."

"That's it?" Corlissa asked.

"That's it!" Johan answered. "Well, I gotta go. Good luck!" Johan left the caves and met up with Sapphire and Ciana. Corlissa entered the next room and sure enough, about 14 bears were sleeping peacefully. Corlissa tiptoed over to the door, bbut she stopped dead in her tracks when she heard one of the bears moving. She looked over to the bear who looked like it was waking up. The bear opened its eyes and groggily looked over at Corlissa, it gave a huge yawn and headed back to sleep.

Corlissa breathed a sigh of relief.

*confessional*

Corlissa: I thought this challenge would be a lot harder! Though the food I hat to eat was downright rancid! *Corlissa's stomach grumbles and her cheeks begin to bulge*

*end confessional*

Dutch was finishing up his last puzzle, the question was 'What animal did Ruby have to catch in the animal hunting challenge?'

Dutch quickly locked in 'deer' as his answer. It was correct and the wall retracted into the floor, the room's exit was ahead. Dutch exited before the wall caught up to him. In the the ext room Mike was sitting in a chair reading a newspaper. He noticed Dutch entering the room.

"Oh Dutch, good to see you! You're going to need this in the next room." Mike said, handing Dutch a net.

"Thanks." Dutch responded, he headed for the next room but he suddenly stopped and faced Mike. "Oh, and sorry for punching you that one time..."

"Water under the bridge!" Mike replied, smiling at Dutch. Dutch entered the next room which had several trees and plants in it. The only animal I'm the room was a Grey squirrel. Dutch immediately knew what be had to do and ran after the squirrel, trying to catch it but not trying to hurt it.

Several hours had passed, Chef was waiting at the finish line in a recliner chair. He was eating a sandwich and had a milkshake. He finally had time to relax in the weeks he had been working.

Sadly, Chef's peace did not last long as he heard someone coming from inside the cave. Footsteps became more and more audible, the camper ran towards the caves exit, towards the light of the outside. Corlissa was the one who made it outside first, winning the challenge!

Soon, the other 3 campers arrived outside, though they were too late.

"Aww what!" Dutch whined.

"Game over! Corlissa won the challenge, as for the rest of you. Get ready for tonight's vote!" Chef announced. 5 of the interns arrived, Briar seemed to be missing from the group...

"Um guys... Where's Briar?" Nikki questioned.

"Don't worry, I'll get her." Chef answered. Michael, Dutch and Astrid looked at each other nervously...

Later that evening, the final 4 were at the campfire ceremony. Chef brought out the plate of marshmallows and was about to pass them out.

"Alright let's make this quick. Corlissa won immunity so she's safe." Chef announced, tossing Corlissa her marshmallow.

"Now as for-"

"HOLD IT!" Someone called, everyone turned to see Chris arriving back on the island.

"Thanks for taking care of the challenge Chef!" Chris said.

"Why are you here so early?" Chef asked.

"I didn't want to miss the elimination!" Chris answered. "I'll take over from here!" Chef handed Chris a paper with the tallied votes.

"Well campers, I'm glad to be back! Now back to the elimination, the next camper who is safe is... Michael!" Chris tossed Michael his marshmallow.

"I'll all comes down to this! Dutch or Astrid! The final marshmallow of the night goes to..."

"Astrid! Guess you couldn't stay safe forever Dutch." Chris teased, tossing the final marshmallow to Astrid. Dutch stood up and headed over to the Dock of Shame. The others waved goodbye to him, Dutch waved back at them with a smile on his face as the Boat of Losers sent him away. As Dutch was sent off Briar ran to the end of the dock with a letter in her hand.

"Wait! Dutch, Charlotte sent you this letter!" She shouted, but Dutch was too far away to hear her. Chris joined her on the dock.

"And with Dutch's elimination, we're down to the Final 3! Who will make it to the finale? Find out next time on Total Drama Island!"

Well... Dutch is finally gone. When I was first making this fanfic, Dutch was originally going to be the main antagonist, but when Hayden was sent in, he took over that role. Ever since then I thought up the idea of Dutch changing from a bully to a pretty good guy. Hope you all enjoyed and stay tuned for the semifinal round!
