Well... This is it... This is the finale! I can't believe we've come so far and I just want to thank each and every one of you readers for sticking by! I hope you all enjoy the finale!
"The past few weeks have been brutal to our competitors. When this show began, 22 teens arrived on the island for a chance to win $100,000. We've seen love, friendships, fights, drama, heartbreak, and more. It all boiled down to our final 3 competitors: Michael, Astrid, and Corlissa. In the end, Corlissa dropped into third place, leaving our two finalists. Tonight, one camper will hold the title of the winner of Total Drama! Who will it be? The Insane fighter: Michael? Or the feminist spit-fire: Astrid? Only one can win the money, who will it be? Find out right here on finale of Total Drama Island!"
It was the morning after Corlissa's elimination, Michael and Astrid were in their cabins, both were already awake and eager to do today's challenge.
*confessionals*
Astrid: Michael better not go easy on me just because I'm a girl! I came here to win fairly and that's what I'm going to do! After dealing with perverts and a******* (Tristan, Ben, and Hayden) I think I've earned a place here! Thankfully, there have been a few people here who are really cool (Corlissa, Tamara, Ruby, Viola, Alyx, Dutch, Luis).
Michael: Astrid better not think I'm gonna go easy on her just because she's a girl! I'm going to win no matter what! Though I suppose it would be better facing Astrid than facing someone who's as big of a pri** as Hayden.
*end confessionals*
The finalists left their cabins and met up outside.
"So... today's the day..." Michael said.
"Yeah, let's do our best I guess..." Astrid replied.
"Let's make this a fair game, may the better ma... I mean person, win!" Michael stated, reaching out his hand. Astrid took Michael's hand and shook it, giving him a friendly, yet competitive smile.
"Finalists, meet me at the docks pronto!" Chris announced. The two campers headed over there as fast as they could.
The finalists met up with Chris, who had his usual grin.
"Good morning you two! This final challenge shouldn't be too difficult for you, but I'll explain when are guests are here!" Chris announced.
"Guests?" Astrid asked.
"Yup!" Chris answered, the three of them heard the sound of a boat approaching. "Say hello to the other 19 campers!" A boat carrying the 19 eliminated campers arrived at the dock (the only one who wasn't there was Charlotte who was still away due to medical reasons).
"Heeeey Mikey!" Kristen squealed as she ran up to Michael and embraced him. Surprisingly, Michael returned the hug!
"Good to see you again Michael!" Luis greeted, he shook Michael's hand. Dutch even gave Michael a fist bump!
"Hey Astrid!" Tamara greeted. The other girls In the girl's alliance greeted Astrid.
"Hey girls!" Astrid returned the greeting, the girls shared a quick group hug before Ruby and Viola broke it up.
Hayden scowled at the others.
"Ok enough catching up! We came to see someone win!" Chris announced he directed everyone to to bleachers with banners above them, the banners had a picture of Astrid and Michael's faces on them. "You guys must pick a side to support while our finalists do the challenge."
As the eliminated campers took their sides, the interns approached Chris.
"Alright McLean, we're done can we get paid already." Ciana said impatiently.
"Calm down Ciana, you'll get paid soon." Chris answered.
*confessionals*
Kristen: Of course I want Michael to win! I saw some of the earlier episodes, I really hope he likes me back!
Michiko: It stinks that I'm not competing, but I suppose I could at least root for Astrid while I'm here.
Hayden: I SHOULD BE IN THE FINALE! NOT THEM! I have to do whatever I can to make sure neither of them win.
*end confessionals*
Once all the contestants had taken their sides, Chris began to explain the challenge, he had a map of the island to show everyone the path.
"Alright finalists, here's your challenge. You will race around the island, starting from this exact spot, heading to the field, then to the beach, after that you'll head to either the caves or through the forest, and then you'll make your way to the cliffs. The cliffs will act as the finish line, any questions?"
Nobody had any questions, Chris blew an air horn to signal the start of the challenge. Michael and Astrid dashed forwards as fast as they could towards the field. As they went, the others cheered them on, except Hayden who had a devious grin on his face, he began to walk away from the others, nobody seemed to notice or care that he left, except for Michiko who was suspicious of Hayden's intentions. She began to follow him.
Astrid and Michael had arrived at the fields, they were empty except for a few tables (one of which was used for Dutch's part of the phobia challenge) and two flagpoles. The flagpoles had red and green flags on them, Chris began speaking from a loudspeaker on one of the flagpoles.
"Ok finalists, you two have to reach the top of the poles, grab the flags and continue on with the race!"
Michael began climbing the pole but only made it up about 3 inches before sliding down.
"What the hell?" He said in disbelief, he looked at his hands and saw some kind of yellow substance on it, Michael then took a closer look at the poles and saw the same yellow substance, it had a familiar scent to it. Michael lucked a bit of it from his hands and he recognized the taste.
"Butter?" He said in confusion. From behind a nearby tree, Hayden snickered, he was holding an empty case of butter, though he only had one.
Astrid was able to quickly reach the top of the flagpole and get the flag.
"See you at the finish line!" Astrid taunted, Michael began to look uneasy, then he had an idea. He took of his shirt and cleaned the pole as best as he could, giving this made it much easier for him to get his flag.
The interns were watching the challenge from the TV in their cabin. The saw Hayden putting the butter on the flagpole Michael was climbing.
"What an a******..." Sapphire commented.
"And we can't even interfere with the challenge." Johan added.
The eliminated campers saw the challenge through a large television. They watched Michael retrieve his flag.
"Isn't he great!" Kristen swooned.
"That was clever!" Derek noted.
"Maybe, but why did Michael struggle to climb a pole?" Luis questioned.
"Not sure, but I smell a rat..." Viola answered, she looked to check if Hayden went anywhere, when she noticed he wasn't there she looked furious.
Michael managed to catch up to Astrid, though Astrid was still ahead by a great distance. Astrid looked back to see how far back Michael was, she saw that he was still a fair distance away but when she looked forward she ran straight into what seemed like an invisible wall. Astrid stood in front of the wall in a daze, when she snapped out of it, she saw Michael climbing the wall which was revealed to be glass. She saw a rope next to her and began climbing.
The two of them reached the top of the glass wall which was about 10 feet high. The two of them now had to climb down the wall or jump into the water below.
From behind a large rock, Hayden watched the two climb Michiko was a few feet away, she tried to keep quiet to make sure Hayden didn't notice her. She watched as Hayden picked up a smaller rock and approached the wall.
Once the finalists reached the top of the wall, Hayden smashed the glass wall. Michael and Astrid jumped into the water, it was the only thing they could do to save themselves.
"What the f*** was that about?!" Astrid shouted in shock. The two of them thought for a second before coming to a realization.
"Hayden..." They said simultaneously.
"Gosh can't that f***** leave us alone?!" Michael hissed.
"Well, no time to complain about it now, I need to go win that money!" Astrid stated, she began to swim back to shore.
"You mean I need to go win that money!" Michael responded, swimming after her. Hayden had already gone ahead of them to the next location.
The interns watched as Hayden destroyed the wall.
"Argh, I can't just sit here and let Hayden do this!" Nikki said in frustration, Johan held her hand.
"Nikki, there's nothing we can do. I know you want to stop Hayden, believe me, we all want to! But we're not allowed to interfere..." Johan said to her.
"Those two are strong, they'll make it. I know they can!" Mike added. Nikki sighed.
"I hope you're right Mike..." She said uneasily.
Hayden went into the shack where the contestants got their equipment for the animal hunting challenge. He looked around for a while until he found what he was looking for: a chainsaw. He left the shack and headed for Astrid and Michael, who were going through the forest.
The two finalists didn't have a specific challenge for this part, it was just a race to the finish. They were neck and neck. From behind a tree several yards in front of them, Hayden turned on the chainsaw and began cutting the biggest tree he could find, Michiko was in a bush behind him. When she saw what he was doing, she looked astonished and then furious, her eyes began to turn red, she looked noticeably more malevolent.
When the two began to get closer to Hayden, he had finished cutting the tree, it began to fall towards the two finalists. They jumped out of the way to avoid getting crushed. The tree hit the ground with a loud thud, loud enough that the interns and eliminated campers could hear it from their locations. Hayden ran back to join the others, Michiko ran after him, she looked like she was going to flat out murder Hayden!
The finalists recovered from their close call, when they jumped out of the way, Astrid jumped in front of the tree while Michael jumped behind it, putting Astrid in the lead. Astrid took control of the situation and ran to the finish line. Michael gave a frustrated sigh, he punched the tree in anger. Suddenly Michael grabbed one end of the Fallen tree and with all of his might, pushed it out of the way, even lifting it off if the ground a little bit!
Everyone saw Michael do this, they looked absolutely dumbfounded. Even Hayden, who rejoined the others, looked gobsmacked. Michael began running after Astrid and to the finish line.
"That was amazing!" Mike said in awe.
"Well, this feat is to be expected. Michael miraculously managed to fend off Fang, so this shouldn't be too surprising." Briar noted.
"I guess you're right Briar, but still..." Johan remarked.
Meanwhile, Viola approached Hayden with a scowl on her face.
"And where have you been?" She asked Hayden.
"Oh, I just went to the bathroom!" Hayden lied. Viola was about to respond when Michiko shouted at Hayden.
"Hayden!"
Everyone turned to Michiko who was running at Hayden.
"I saw what you did! I'm not going to let you cheat! You caused enough trouble already!"
"What did he do this time?" Ruby asked with an annoyed look.
"He was the one who greased up Michael's flagpole, he threw a rock at the glass wall while Astrid and Michael were on it and he cut down the tree that nearly killed them!" Michiko exclaimed, everyone gave Hayden a death glare.
"What?! Nobody messes with Mikey-kins!" Kristen shouted, she along with Michiko, Viola and Ruby, began to chase Hayden around the campsite. Luis gathered the contestants not chasing Hayden.
"Guys, I have an idea!"
Some time later, the contestants (minus Hayden and the 4 girls) entered the mess hall. They found some freshly-baked muffins and a bottle of laxatives. Bella, Alyx, Luis, and Tamara sprinkled the muffins with the laxatives and headed out into the woods. The smell of the muffins attracted Sasquatchenakwa, they 4 of them lured the beast to the campsite.
Once there, they let the beast eat, Sasquatchenakwa happily ate the muffins. The laxatives seemed to take an immediate effect as the beast ran into the nearest bathroom: the outhouse confessional.
The other campers let the girls chasing Hayden know about the situation. They seemed eager to help in Luis' plan. Viola chased Hayden over to the confessional, Hayden tripped, giving Viola the chance to catch him. He prepared for the beating, but was surprised when Viola grabbed him and tossed him into the outhouse confessional. She then grabbed the plunger that was right next to the outhouse and blocked the door with it, trapping Hayden inside, she then ran away as fast as she could, even she couldn't take the smell.
*confessional*
Hayden: Ugh, what the f*** is that smell?!
Viola (from outside): QUIT COMPLAINING!
*Hayden begins to gag at the smell*
*end confessional*
Viola regrouped with the others, they continued watching the challenge.
"What's the word on Hayden?" Derek asked.
"He won't be a problem anymore, he's locked in the outhouse." Viola explained, everyone cheered at this, Michiko's eyes went back to their normal color. Chris then approached the campers.
"Attention everyone, we're heading over to the cliffs to see who wins!" Chris looked at the group. "Where's Hayden?" He asked.
"Locked in the confessional." Damion answered. Chris laughed at his answer.
"That is awesome! Hahaha! Anyway, come on we need to see who wins!" Chris told them.
Chris gathered everyone at the cliffs, they all waited for Astrid or Michael to cross the finish line. He approached the interns with six checks in his hand.
"Well interns, thanks for helping out! I believe you've all earned this!" He said, handing them their checks.
"Finally!" Ciana cheered, she took her check to see how much she earned. She, along with the other interns, looked absolutely shocked and angry at the fact that they had only earned $120.
"Seriously?! $120?!" Sapphire hissed.
"A six figure salary wasn't worth our time here!" Johan added, Ciana just stood there silently.
"We're getting him back..." she hissed.
"How're we gonna do that?" Nikki asked.
Ciana gathered the contestants and the other interns to inform them of their plan.
Astrid and Michael continued running through the woods and up towards the cliffs. It was once again neck and neck, the two continued running until they saw the others and the finish line.
Both of them were exhausted from their race, nonetheless, they kept pushing forward. Eventually, a few feet from the finish line, Astrid collapsed from exhaustion, Michael kept running. He crossed the finish line, the campers cheered for him, shaking his hand and patting him on the back. Kristen even kissed him, shockingly, Michael returned the kiss!
The campers rooting for Astrid helped her up. Astrid approached Michael and shook his hand.
Meanwhile, Hayden was still in the confessional. He was sure someone won the game by now.
*confessional*
Hayden: Hello? ... Anyone there? ... M************
*end confessional*
Hours later, the sun had set and everyone was gathered around the campfire. Hayden was released from the outhouse confessional after about 4 hours. Nobody sat near him during the campfire ceremony since he smelled rancid.
"This is all your fault!" Hayden snapped at Tamara.
"What?!" Tamara replied in shock.
"If you weren't so useless, I would be the one winning the money right now!"
Before Tamara had a chance to respond, Dutch knocked Hayden out with one punch to the jaw! Everyone cheered at this, Chris got everyone quiet before he spoke.
"Attention everyone, I have a special announcement. Several days ago, Briar found a letter from Charlotte addressed to everyone and Briar is going to read it."
Briar stepped forward, she had the note Charlotte wrote in her hands, she cleared her throat and began to read it.
"Dear Everyone,
I've made this little note from day one explaining everything about my life; from Lotte to the pregnancy.
Lotte, or Lorraine, was my stillborn twin sister. I was, in my later years, diagnosed with DID and strangely enough, this persona called herself Lotte.
People ask, why is Lotte so mean, and I don't really have much to answer but; she's never had a life. So she makes use out of mine, by doing the things I cannot bear to do; like have s*x.
When I was fifteen, I fooled around with my boyfriend, Alec, until Lotte emerged and showed him her seductive side. Of course, Alec didn't know about Lotte so he thought I was playing naughty and one thing led to another and boom. I'm pregnant.
Alec took the news quite bad. He broke up with me, and practically turned the whole school on me but I never stopped loving him. I have this strange condition that allows my stomach to stay flat whilst in the early stages of pregnancy and when my time comes, I'll probably forfeit (unless it doesn't happen so I can win the cash).
Although, someone told him about Lotte and Alec soon learnt, feeling slightly sympathetic although didn't really help. My sixteenth birthday rolled around and all he gave me was a letter telling the baby that his/her father won't be with them as he doesn't think he can cope with the responsibility.
I know that when the baby is born, Alec is likely to change opinion, but for now, I wouldn't mind a simple love interest; and Total Drama is perfect for that."
"Again, I think I've fallen in love with everyone on the island, as they are all such amazing people! Yes, Hayden too!" Hayden (who had awoken when Briar began reading the letter) smiled and even blushed!
It's hard, but my inner self tells me that I have feelings for Dutch, although, I'll send some intern to add an extra note about this soon."
Anyways, I found out that I was getting slightly bigger, during the emerald maze challenge so I need help to eliminate myself. You know what I did? I asked Hayden and told him everything about my plan to get myself eliminated. It was tough, but I reckon it'll work."
"How do I break this to Dutch and Hayden easily. Oh yeah, after Hayden came back he wouldn't stop flirting with me. And it wasn't for a prize so now I'm just creeped out.
Anyways, I recently went into labour (how exciting; but painful girls!) and I've now got a healthy baby daughter called Gemma. As I predicted, Alec did come around to say hey, but here's the fangirl/tragedy moment.
He proposed. I'm 16 and he proposed to me! Eek! My answer?"
...
"Yes. Alec and I are now engaged, I've been into counselling and Lotte has been sorta, numbed? Or suppressed? But Alec, who's 18 himself (I know. Charlottes getting the older guys) got a modelling career and he is rising to fame. This is an invite to the following people for being there for me the whole time;
Corlissa, Viola, Tamara, Astrid, Ruby, Michael, Luis, Charlie, Damion, Blake, Derek, Dominic, Bella, Michiko, Alyx, Kristen, Caine, even Ben, Hayden and Tristan, and Dutch. Basically everyone, including the interns; excluding the host.." Chris had an annoyed look on his face when he heard that, but he quickly shook it off.
It's being held in approximately two years. Hehe.

Everyone was surprised and ecstatic at this revelation. Dutch was shocked and a bit upset about Charlotte getting married, but he was happy at his friends joy. Chris carlmed everyone down again.
"Alright everyone, I know you're all excited about this. But we all know the real reason we're here. Michael, step forward please."
Michael approached Chris.
"Michael, you are the winner of Total Drama Island, this is the symbol of immunity, proof that you have outlasted everyone: the final marshmallow!"
Michael took the marshmallow, everyone cheered and applauded Michael for his victory.
"And so ends a season of intense drama at Camp Wawanakwa! I'm Chris McLean and this has been Total Drama Island!" Chris signed off.
"Oh Chriiiiis!" Nikki called. Everyone approached Chris.
"W-Whats going on?" Chris asked, he was getting nervous. Ciana grabbed him by the shirt collar and tossed him into the lake!
"Hahaha! I've been waiting to do THAT all season!" Chef chuckled.
"Oh Cheeeef!" Dutch called. Chef knew what was going to happen and he began to run away, the campers began to give chase.
The camera zoomed out to a full view of the island, a splash was heard, followed by the laughs of everyone on the island (except Chris, Chef,and Charlotte).
