The next adventure part 2: the adventure continues

Some time has passed and the cubs are now young teens and Alex and Gia's lives are now better than ever. but when they are transported to Madagascar and they accidentally bring Dubois back with them they are dragged into another adventure filled with action, adventure, romance, drama, and surprises reviled. Alex X Gia Ch: 68 now up!

40. Cubs

Hello readers, to make up for slow past update rates, I will try to update a little more often.

Ch. 40 cubs

Alex stared at his mate at a loss of words. "How long have you been pregnant?" he finally asked.

Gia just managed to stop crying to answer her mate. "I learned I was pregnant just before AJ was going to show us his teleporter. I was going to surprise you later that night, but then we wound up on Madagascar and when I found out my parents hate lions and our cubs, and I was scared if I told anyone, my parents would find out somehow."

"We need to tell the cubs." Said Alex.

"I told them back in Africa, when my parents were arguing with you and your parents." She answered.

"How did they take the news?" Asked Alex. "they were all surprised, except for AJ. He was not surprised because he already had figured out I was pregnant." Gia answered. Alex's eyes widened. He opened his mouth to ask her how AJ knew she was pregnant, but then he remembered that AJ was one of the smartest living things on the face of the earth, surly he could easily tell if Gia was pregnant.

Alex then noticed Gia was slouching slightly. Gia noticed this and stood up straight. When she did, Alex noticed she why Gia had been slouching. She had already begun to gain a little weight from her pregnancy. It wasn't much weight, but on Gia's super thin waist, it was slightly visible. Her slouching had hid her stomach.

"I'm scared Alex that my parents will find out." She said fearful. Alex took his mates paw, and looked calmly deep into her eyes. "Don't worry Gia I won't tell anyone your pregnant." promised Alex.

Little did they know just outside of their train cart Ben held his ear to the cart to hear Alex and Gia. "My Gia is pregnant; I will kill that lion for this." Growled Ben in pure anger, with his claws bared. Suddenly it hit him "No wait, I have a better idea." He said to himself. He then walked away from the train cart.

Inside the train cart, Alex hugged Gia to calm her nerves. Suddenly the ship leaned heavily to the left just enough to cause Alex and Gia to fall out of bed. Alex turned to his pregnant wife to see if she had been harmed as the ship straitened back to normal. "Gia are ok?" "I am fine." Said Gia putting a paw on her stomach. "What just happened?" she asked. They then realized something. "Where are the cubs?" they asked at the same time.
