Some time has passed and the cubs are now young teens and Alex and Gia's lives are now better than ever. but when they are transported to Madagascar and they accidentally bring Dubois back with them they are dragged into another adventure filled with action, adventure, romance, drama, and surprises reviled. Alex X Gia Ch: 68 now up!

44. Ambush

Ch: 44 Ambush

With no one to in sight and little time on their paws the two cats knew they didn't have much time to retrieve the penguins before someone noticed that they were in the zoo.

It wasn't until they passed a certain large enclosure Adora spoke. Adora looked down at the sign that read the animals species in the enclosure. To her disbelief, the sign read it was a liguar enclosure. "AJ did you know that this place has liguars?" she asked, full of wonder that other liguars existed in the world. "Yes." Said AJ slightly coldly, however not at her but her question. As she began to walk again she noticed the exhibit was empty. "Zats strange, ze cage is empty." Said Adora. AJ stopped dead in his tracks and spun around to look her in the eyes with fear. "What?" he almost yelled. AJ turned on his thermal goggles and look into the cage to see if Adora was right to find she was. "Adora, we need to find the penguins and I need to get you out of here fast." He said when he saw that the cage was empty. "Why?" asked Adora worried slightly. "Because there are killers on the loose." Said AJ slightly scared. The split second he said this he saw a shadow move in the darkness. Before he could tell Adora to run he felt a strong force hit him behind the head, knocking him to his paws and knees and began to blur his vision to the point where he was seeing double. AJ looked up and saw Adora had already been knocked unconscious. Suddenly he was hit again knocking him to his side. He looked up to see four shadowy figures standing above him waiting for him to pass out. The zoo lamps light and AJ's blurred vision made it impossible to tell who stood over him, but he knew who they were without one doubt. He looked the shortest one in the eyes and said. "You won't get away with this, Alexzander." The figure bent down to AJ's height reviling his face to AJ. "I'm afraid we already have. Don't worry we won't kill you… but Dr. Blowhole will make you wish that that we did." Said Alexzander grinning. Before AJ could even react to the sound of Blowhole's name, Alexzander kicked AJ in the face knocking him out.
