The Risks
The next morning, Kenshiro, Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Cammy, Guile, Rei, and Toki discuss their move on their enemies while Sakura plays around with Bart and Lin.
"So what do we do now?" asked Ken. "S.I.N. and Shadaloo obviously have their sights set on us."
"Yeah, and we barely have any leads on them too." said Guile. "All we know is why they're targeting Ryu and Kenshiro but we don't even know who's behind it."
"We could try looking for Vega or Balrog to interrogate them." said Chun-Li. "According to you, Rei, Vega has been here twice."
"Yes, that's right." replied Rei. "But he didn't mention much except…wait a second…" Rei starts remembering his last encounter with Vega. "That's right, he mentioned Yuda! That means Yuda must know something too!"
Mamiya, who was listening nearby, looks in concern, as if the name "Yuda" struck something.
"Well, does anybody here know who this 'Yuda' person is?" asked Ken.
"Yes!" replied Rei. "He is a Nanto Seiken fighter like myself."
"Nanto Seiken?" said Kenshiro.
"He's of the Nanto Kokaku Ken style. We use to train together at the same school but later he betrayed us and sided with Raoh."
"Is he a well-skilled fighter like you?" asked Ryu.
"Yes. He was one of the best, though he could have been much better if he wasn't such a traitor."
"So how do we find him?" asked Cammy. "I'd say we track him down and make him talk as soon as possible."
Mamiya finally walks forward in the conversation. "I…know where he might be." she said. Sakura, Bart, and Lin finally stop playing when they notice Mamiya.
"Mamiya?" said Guile. "I didn't expect you to say something about this."
"Do you know about Yuda as well?" asked Toki.
"Yes…I do." answered Mamiya. She then shows them her back, revealing a mark on it that says "YD".
"YD?" said Chun-Li. "What is that for?"
"That man…Yuda…he ruined my life!" says Mamiya. "That's why I've become a warrior…not a helpless woman."
Then the village elder shows up, standing next to Mamiya. Everyone can see the sadness in his eyes as he starts to talk.
"I remember it. Mamiya was such a happy woman…until that day." He then explains how Mamiya was celebrating her 20th birthday when Yuda and his men appeared, killed her parents before everyone's eyes (including Mamiya's), and took her away from the village. However, Mamiya would escape and return to the village a few days later.
"Poor Mamiya." said a teary-eyed Lynn.
"What a jerk!" said Sakura. Bart nods in agreement.
"How horrible!" said Chun-Li.
"How dare someone does that to a lady!?" said Ken. "I'd teach that guy a lesson myself!"
"If anyone is going to fight Yuda, it will be me." said Rei. "As a warrior of Nanto Seiken, this is something I must do."
"Hold on, guys." said Guile. "First, we have to find his location and get information on S.I.N. Then we can dish out whatever punishment he deserves later."
"Fine." said Chun-Li. "Mamiya, what all do you remember about Yuda's place?"
"I remember that besides having a lot of henchmen, he also has many kidnapped women as well. Being one of them, I already know what kind of suffering they're going through. I just wish they'd also escaped." said Mamiya.
Chun-Li and Cammy look down, no doubt disgusted about what they just heard about Yuda. Chun-Li then looks up and says "I got it! I'll allow myself to be captured by Yuda's men to get the information."
"What? Are you crazy?" asked Ken.
"You do realize the danger of doing this, don't you?" asked Toki. "Nanto Seiken is a deadly art."
"No, Chun-Li!" said Rei. "I don't want to see you lose your happiness too!"
"That may be so but I have no fear." said Chun-Li. "I'm willing to take that risk if it's all we can do."
"Wait, Chun-Li!" said Mamiya. "I don't want you to do this! He'll ruin your life like he did mine! Even if you do manage to escape, it would still be a horrible experience."
Chun-Li walks up to Mamiya and says "I know what it's like to lose a father. I'm already done grieving myself so whatever lies ahead cannot compare to that. I'll put an end to his evil ways in anyway I can."
"Count me in, too." said Cammy. "Chun-Li and I can handle this, Mamiya. You don't need to worry about us."
Kenshiro and Ryu smile in agreement with the plan.
"Just promise you two make it out of their safe." said Guile. Chun-Li and Cammy nod, while Sakura, Bart, and Lynn cheer.
Elsewhere in Japan, a lone fortune teller with purple hair passes by the demolished mall area from the previous night. As she stops and stares at the mall, she quietly says to herself "Am I too late?" She then starts running, hoping that things won't get any worse.
As she runs, she passes by a figure saying "You don't have to take such a foolish risk, Rose". Upon hearing the voice, she stops and sees Guy. "If you're here in Japan, then what I suspected is true but don't try to rush into battle alone."
"Guy…this is something I must do." said Rose. "I'd rather not risk any other lives if I can do something."
"Just because you have that power, doesn't mean that you're prepared."
"I won't hear of it!" said Rose as she turns to face Guy. "Only I know what it takes."
Guy shakes his head, saying "You're just like an old friend of mine that I know; you never want to listen to reason."
"I will continue forward…and nothing will stop me. Goodbye, Guy!" Rose continues to run as Guy watches off. "I must find…him".
As soon as she leaves, however, Guy hears a scream from another location. He quickly runs and find a woman laying down, crying. He quickly runs up and asks her what's wrong.
"Those…barbarians! They're taking the children! Please, help me! You must save those children! Hurry!"
Guy looks in shock. "Someone is taking children away? Unforgivable!"
Not long afterwards, Guy runs to the location of said "barbarians", a group of seven thugs with a cross symbol on their Spartan-like outfit who are attacking men and women in the middle of the street while taking the kids away.
"No! I won't allow this. I will teach them a lesson." Guy said, angrily. He then runs to confront one of the thugs holding a boy.
"Huh?" said the thug. "Who are you? Are you trying to stand in our way?"
"That's exactly what I'm doing." said Guy. "I have a habit of beating idiotic thugs like you guys, so don't think you can bully me around." He then gets into his fighting stance.
"What did you say?" said the thug as the other six gather behind him, letting the kids go. "Do you really think you can take on the Holy Emperor's force?" Men and women look in fear as the thugs surround Guy.
"Why don't you find out?" said Guy.
One of the thugs tries to attack Guy from behind but gets hit with a back-handed punch instead. The rest of the thugs all try to gang up on him but with blurring speed, Guy dodges, ducks, and lands numerous punches and kicks on his enemies, knocking them out.
Ten more thugs appear, this time they're armed with a sword and shield. Guy is surrounded again.
"None of you can comprehend the ways of Bushin…and that is why none of you can beat me." said Guy.
They all attack him but again with such speed, Guy despatches them with punches, kicks, elbows, and spinning kicks (Bushin Senpukyaku). He even disarms one of the thugs and uses his own sword skills to defeat some of them.
Once all of the thugs are defeated, the men, women, and kids run up to thank Guy. He then asks them why the thugs were here.
"They were all sent here by Souther." said one of the men. "All they do is kidnap kids and force them to serve him. It's terrible, sir."
"Another gang that needs to be punished and if I have to do that, then so be it." said Guy.
"I must warn you that Souther is very dangerous. He's the strongest of the Nanto Seiken fighters".
" 'Nanto Seiken'? I know about that style. But I have no fear. Soon, this Souther will be stopped just like the other thugs I've beaten." He clinches his fist. "I'll make sure of it."
Elsewhere, in Yuda's palace full of women far away, Yuda's right hand man, Dagari, brings with him two more women.
"Lord Yuda, we've got two more here that I'm certain you would like." said a man in a red military outfit. "They seem pretty tough but we still got them here."
"Nice work, Dagari." said Yuda. "Bring them here to me."
The two women were, in fact, Chun-Li and Cammy, appearing just like the hopeless women in the palace. Yuda stares into their eyes and laughs evily.
"Perfect!" he says.
