On the other side of the gate, the students of Hogwarts were ordered to stand behind the professors' table, as they couldn't return to their dorms when the doorway was taken over by something.
As Harry passed through the gate, he passed out in pain. Corina jumped to Harry's side to see what happened.
Morgan touched her nose to Harry's shoulder, before she decided to screw the unspoken rule that all Companions only speak to their Chosen. :He was just taken by surprise.:
:So he's going to be alright what happen to him why did he passed out.: Corina asked her voiced filled with worry.
:Rolan told me something like this was going to happen, I do not know what he is seeing, but my guess would be its all that has happened within the five years worth of knowledge concerning this world: Morgan answered she moved forward to stand guard over her chosen.
Dasher whickered :Now would be a good time to start acting like the Herald you are, Chosen.:
An older woman stepped forward a look of concern and confusion on her face. "Excuse me but does he need medical help, I may be able to help him, I'm a nurse."
"What's a nurse? Is that some sort of Healer?" Corina questioned, she had a nursemaid when she was a little because she was highborn, but she didn't understand the term being used here.
Morgan snorted and eyed the human.
The woman nodded "Yes, I am my name is Madame Pomfrey and I'm the school's nurse. "
Corina shook her head, "No, he doesn't need a Healer's touch."
Harry groaned and opened pale green eyes, only to see white. "Not a side, I want to see, fairy foot."
Corina leans over to check on him. "Harry, are you alright? You had me worried for a candlemark there."
Morgan moved away and lipped her Chosen's hair affectionately. :Then don't frighten me.:
Harry playfully shoved Morgan's head away, before looking around having all this new knowledge shoved into his mind was disorientating. The herald-mage looked at his partner and lowered his Shields just enough to allow mindspeech between them. : I need your expert touch.:
Corina made a hand sign; she hated resorting to this type of communicating, but she wasn't going to risk unshielding herself, she was already getting a reaction-headache from trying to shield out all the emotions being shoved at her. 'Talk later'
Harry stood and spoke in a clear voice "Greetings I am Herald Harry Ashkevron."
"I am Herald Corina." Corina informed accessing the people in the room, without using her Gift.
Harry glanced at Corina.
: Dasher reports his Chosen only feels mild curiosity but nothing deceptive.: Morgan informed
With a small hand signal to Corina, Harry spoke. "Who's in charge here? I need to speak with them now in private."
An elderly wizard stood up, "That would be me, my boy."
"Is there somewhere we may speak in private there is much we need to discuss." Harry requested
The wizard walked down the aisle toward the white clad man, he didn't recognize as being James Potter's son.
"I'll deal with the rest." Corina muttered
With a nod, he followed the old man out the hall.
Corina noticed that Morgan left following Harry and the old man. She turned and looked around the hall all the eyes were locked in on her.
"Well? I'm not going to wait around all day." Corina states with humor, "Any questions will be answered one at a time or not at all."
One student in a blue trimmed robe raised his hand. "Um Ms. Corina, where exactly did you and your partner come from?"
"Herald. And we came from a land called Valdemar." Corina answered, "I would think it's another realm other than this one."
There was a soft mummer amongst the students then a bushy haired girl raised her hand as well "Herald Corina, what is a Herald and why did you both one here in the first place?" She looked ready to ask more but held herself down.
Corina had noticed that this girl was just like Herald-Chronicler Myste, "We were informed by someone with higher connections then we mere mortals that your school was in need of a Herald-Mage, which is Harry, I do not have the gift of magic, but I have other gifts." She paused thinking of how to answer the first question, "A herald can serve as many things, but mainly ride circuits and report on the goings on in Valdemar so that the Queen will know the condition of her kingdom."
Dasher whickered in approval; Corina patted the Companion's neck.
The girl nodded and continued to write what she said. A blonde hair boy in green spoke next "How are we to think that two 'heralds' that can't be much older than me help us when the Aurors are trained for this."
"Because Heralds are incorruptible, self-sacrificing, and fair. Can your aurors claim as much? It seems to me, that anyone can be an Auror. Not everyone can be a Herald." Corina replied, "We are trained from the moment we set foot into the Collegium until we earned our Whites."
:He looks like centuries of inbreeding.: Dasher commented
Corina found herself trying not to laugh, but she agreed with her Companion.
Another student raised his hand "What kind of training did you have to go through and how does one become a Herald?"
"Everything from law to weapons and we're trained to use our gifts to benefit the common folk." Corina answers, "Of course, none Mage-gifted Heralds are required to learn the different between real magic and fake." She placed a hand on Dasher's neck, "As for how we become a herald, we're Chosen."
The questions continued for a few minutes more Corina noticed the bushy haired girl was still writing everything she said. While the blonde-haired person kept making sarcastic comments to the others at his table.
Corina eyed him, before she finally decided she did not care for him at all.
: Comes near you or me, I will leave hoofprints on his bum.: Dasher states, with a swish of his tail.
Meanwhile with the Herald-Mage and the old man.
"So what gave you the right to think that a baby could be molded to suit your needs?" Harry got down to the point once they were away from children's ears.
The old man stopped where he was and faced this strange man "How do you know of that?"
"I have just gotten a long course about your world, thanks to Kantis." Harry answers, "I came here because it's my duty to help those who cannot help themselves."
Dumbledore's jaw fell open at the mention of the name. "He was real after all." He murmured to himself. "I was planning to place him in a safe home then when he was old enough I was to train him in his magic."
"Great good gods! I'm willing to bet my next stipend that you weren't even planning on checking on the child's welfare, and that he would have been so grateful for some positive adult attention, he would have done anything you wanted." Harry admonished
"I would never have done I would made sure he was watched over." The wizard replies
Harry smirked, :Should I?:
:Please do, I want to see his reaction.: Morgan answers
"Then I have to thank Kantis for taking me away all those years ago." Harry commented
Dumbledore paled at that then he looked closer at him.
Harry knew he looked different from when he first ridden Morgan into the palace/Collegium complex, he was taller and had an athletic build, along with sliver in his hair and pale green eyes from working with the powerful raw magics and the palace heartstone.
"That can't be you look nothing like James and you eyes are far to pale to be like Lily." Dumbledore gasped
"Good food, exercise, working with raw magic." Harry answers, "But I am the same child that disappeared that night." He then pinched the bridge of his nose, "I used to wear glass lenses when I was younger, but as soon as I started working with magic, I found my eyes healing themselves."
"Harry, you returned, you do not know how we worried about you, what happened after that terrible night." Dumbledore spoke with relief and a bit of worry in his voice.
Harry stopped "Let me make this clear to you, I do not have any allegiance to you. My allegiance belongs to the Queen Selenay and the Heraldic Circle. If you wish to address me you will call me by Herald Harry."
Dumbledore just stared in shock this is not what he expected when he would see Harry Potter for the first time.
Harry turned on his booted heels and swung up into Morgan's saddle, the Companion pivoted and walked away, she took a turret and ended up nearing an eerie looking forest with a hut that was built by the edge.
:Chosen, Harry needs you right now.: Dasher informed
Corina quickly mounted on Dasher and rode out to where Harry was.
Harry looked as if he was fighting to keep his shields from crashing down on it.
Corina sat beside him on the ground, took his hands into hers, and unshielded herself, "Talk to me, love. I will help you face your troubled emotions."
"What seems to be the fuss out here, if it's you, Malfoy? I don't care what your father does, I'll paddle you till your bum looks like tanned leather for upsetting the animals again." The voice roared out for the shack.
Morgan whinnied in laughter; she looked between her Chosen and the hut. She went up and knocked on the door with her hoof.
"Hold your horses, I'm coming this better be a good reason to be bothered me this early in the morning." The voice within answers
Morgan backed up, and waiting, she would have held her reins in her mouth, but that would look silly.
"Now who is at my door." they heard as the door opened the two Heralds looked to the door, their eyes went wide in shock.
"Bloody Hell, he's huge." Corina gasped
