Alright I know, it has been 4 months, I am an asshole. See here's the thing, so my laptop sucked. like bad so i decided to get a new one but it took forever and i already wiped out everything on that laptop so i was laptop-less, but while i didn't have a laptop i have been writing down ideas for upcoming chapters :) so you guys have been asking for Jace's POV, well here ya go and one more thing please check out my other fanfic raise your voice! i want reviews on that to see if you guys would actually read it! Anyway read!
Jace's POV
My heart was racing, as I was walking to the gym locker room. What the hell was that Herondale?! You should've just let her fall on her ass, maybe I caught her because it was a uh, reflex. yeah, will go with reflex.
When I reached to the gym locker room I quickly got changed until I heard someone bringing Clary's name up. On the other side of the locker room you could hear Sebastian Verlac.
My hands clenched until my knuckles turned white.
"Yeah it's gonna be at 9 and when Clary shows up, well boy she's in for a treat let me tell you that." Sebastian said.
The guys laughed at what he said and I only heard the sound of gym lockers being shut and they were gone.
Crap crap crap! What the fuck is Verlac going do to my Clary?
Wait shut up shut up she's not yours, you don't want her, she's just like Kaelie.
But inner conscience cut me off, then why are you worrying so much about what would happen to Clary?
I don't care at all! But John would kill me if he knew i knew this piece of information about Sebastian doing something to Clary, I mean he would do the same for Alec if he heard something bad would happen to Izzy.
I finished getting dressed and headed out of the locker room to find john.

I ran to Johns locker and saw him putting his things in his back pack as he was ready to head out.
"Fuck Jace, you can't just stand behind me without acknowledging the fact you are here present."
"I don't need to really acknowledge anyone I'm here because people already notice I'm here all the time, I mean at least those girls do." I say as i point to 5 girls near some lockers looking at me, and of course the good person I am I gave them my signature heart throbbing smirk and a wink.
oh yeah I'm that good I thought to myself.
I couldn't really hear what John said under his breath but it sounded like narcissist.
"So why are you here, because I don't want to hear you talk about how good looking you are."
"Admit it, if you were gay you would want this." I said gesturing to my body with a smirk.
"If I say yes will you get to the pint of why you came over here?" He said with a pleading look.
"Indeed."
"Fine yes if i were gay i would be attracted to you and yada yada yada." John said while rolling his eyes.
"I know you would." I said with pride.
"So what did you need to tell me."
"Oh right, well I was in the locker room and I over heard that Sebastian is having people over at his house somewhere at 9 but I don't know where or when."
"Really this was the big news you had to tell me, who gives a fuck about him." John said while slamming his locker shut and started to walk while I tried catching up to him.
"No, just stop for minute please let me finish." I said with a pleading look.
Thats when John sighed and nodded his head.
"The main reason why I'm telling you this is because Sebastian is going to invite your sister too but he's going to do something to her but he didn't say what he was going to do to her exactly."
John took it all in but then, he smirked. What the fuck the bastard smirked? I thought brothers go all protective over there sisters and he's acting like he doesn't care.
"Why are you smirking? Thats really what you are going to do after you heard something might possibly be bad happening to Clary?" I said with defense and shock.
John shook his head while chuckling to the ground and then looked back up.
"No, trust me I am gonna murder Verlac when I see him next time."
"Then why were you chuckling?" I said confused.
"It's just the Jace I know hates everyone and wouldn't give a rats ass if he heard that information." John said.
"You care." He said genuinely.
I started shaking my head, "Oh no no no no, I do not I'm just helping you out so you don't have to deal with tears, alright." I said sternly.
John just chuckled and said, "Whatever way you wanna put it bud."
I just ignored his comment.
"Alright but now I'm serious we got to find Clary and let her know." John said.
"Right." I nodded and we bolted off to go find Clary.
Clary's POV
I was packing up, getting ready to leave and was about to close my locker door when someone already did before I got the chance.
I looked up to see a pair of dull colored eyes mix with mine.
"Hey Seb." I said with a forced smile. I honestly just wanted to go home after what happened today with beauty and the bimbo. Did I seriously just referred Jace to beauty?
My train of thought cut off when Sebastian spoke.
"I'm having a party tomorrow night. I want you to come, its at 9 my place I'll text you my address k?"
I just smiled and nodded. Maybe things will get less uncomfortable with him tomorrow night i thought.
"Yeah, I would love to come!"
"Cool and invite people too if you want."
I nodded again and he hugged me goodbye, as he was walking out of the school's double doors he looked back and waved goodbye one more time.
Once again annoyed and just waved back with a fake grin.
I picked up my backpack and headed out the doors and was met by a light breeze.
I headed over to my car and two figures were leaning on it.
I got closer to see the two figures are John and Jace.
They both looked up and got off the car.
"Uh is there something you assholes need?" I said with a tired look on my face.
John spoke first, "Clary did Sebastian I don't know, invite you over somewhere?"
I looked confused but replied anyway, "Uh yeah why?"
"Clary you can't go."
"Uh I'm sorry but last time I checked your not my father." I sassed.
"No, Clary look you really need to hear me out, something bad is going to happen to you on that night Sebastian is planning it and everything."
I rolled my eyes, "And let me guess you heard from rumors or something."
"Uh no Jace was in the locker room and overheard everything."
"Oh yeah and whats he gonna do to me." I said with to Jace with amusement.
"That's the thing I don't know exactly because he didn't say."
"Oh please, enough, I am not hearing anymore of this baloney, there's nothing going to happen. I can't believe you guys are trying to get me to not go to the party because you don't like Sebastian." I said glaring at them.
I can't believe they would do such a thing. I thought me and John were starting to get on the right foot and Jace well I'm not even surprised he would do such a thing so I'll just prove them wrong.
"Clary were not lying-" But i cut Jace off.
"Why do you even care," I sputtered, "You know what I'm going to that party wether you like it or not and I'll prove to you all that nothing bad is going to happen!" I rambled.
They didn't say a word, they just stared at me.
So i headed over to the driver side and open the door when John said
"Clary come one."
But I just got in and pulled out of my parking spot.
Right as i was going to put the car in drive I looked in my rear view mirror.
John just angrily walked away while I saw Jace staring at the back of my car.
Usually I wouldn't know what emotion was on his face because he was always good at hiding it.
But this was the first time I could actually read his expression and it was an emotion that drove me nuts and wanted to scream at him for but then it warmed my heart and made me want to smile.
I brushed it off thinking I was delusional.
Third person Omniscient POV
What Clary didn't know was she wasn't delusional.
She saw his emotion right. The emotion was care.
She just couldn't accept the fact that Jace ever caring for her.
