Morgan and Harry had gone out of the school grounds entirely, for two reasons; Morgan needed the exercise and for another if, Harry had stayed within the grounds of the school. He was sure; he would have gone mad by all the awed glazes of the students, and the hair prickling on the back of his neck each time, that Potions Professor stared at him.
:I sense a village of sorts nearby.: Morgan informed as she cantered down the road. She was regretting sneaking down into the kitchens and having the elves spoil her. She was packing on some weight and needed to lose it.
Harry was startled out of the trance, that he was entering just enjoying the pace of Morgan's cantering and the quiet of the road. : Really, do you think I should Farsee there or should we investigate with Corina and Dasher?:
Morgan thought about it. :Perhaps we should ask Corina and Dasher to come with us, we do not know the mood of this village and I for one, have the feeling we might need Corina to defuse any hostilities that might arise.:
Harry silently agreed and Morgan needed to other prompting, she pivoted and started back up the road.
They arrived back at Hogwarts, and trotted to where Morgan could sense where Dasher was.
Corina raised an eyebrow in silent question.
"We were out riding, and Morgan sensed a village nearby." Harry answered as he swung down from Morgan's saddle.
Hermione was watching the two closely; she noticed how they moved together, they seem as if they were one person. "That's Hogsmeade, it's the only completely wizarding village in Britain. Third year and up go there on weekends, just to have something do other then studying."
Harry blinked "That so?"
Hermione nods, "Yes, I'm not sure if they would know of your return or even if you have returned."
Corina thought about it then smiled "Well it might be a good idea if we gently probe the feel of the people in the village."
"By we you mean you right, I'm not an Empath." Harry replies
"True but you're the better observer most times so we both go." Corina replied
"Most times? I think I have grown up enough to earn something more higher than most times." Harry replies
Corina grinned, "Who was it that tried to pack his whole room for midwinter break?"
"That was our first year and I haven't repeated that mistake." Harry answers
"And Jerome and I had to pack your packs for you last year." Corina replies, "or else you would have sent half the stuff back."
Harry ducked his head while Hermione was laughing.
Corina then smiled "Jervan's going to use you as hunting practice."
"Oh come on he's not gonna hunt me." Harry responds
"Much, think about it, exploring is what he lives for, and you're having a grand adventure without him. He's not going to be happy." Corina explained slowly as if Harry were a Trainee again.
Hermione looked confused "Who's Jervan?"
The two Heralds grinned and responded in unison. "A Gryphon."
Hermione's eyes went wide "A gryphon incredible they're so rare here."
"Our type of gryphons are earth mages, and they can use mindspeech and speak aloud as well." Harry explains.
"They even consider the royal twins family, seeing as Lady Elspeth is married to Darkwind." Corina commented
"Oh wow, that amazing; I would to meet them think of all the new things, I could learn from them." Hermione's eyes glazed over at the thought.
"Sorry to burst your dream, but they don't teach just anyone." Harry states
Hermione's face dropped looking a bit disappointed at that.
"And Lord Treyvan and Lady Hydona are members of the Council." Corina pointed out, "They can't just drop everything."
"They were my first Mage-teachers." Harry adds, "That is why, I know them and their offspring."
"Oh no I wouldn't want that but I mean just to meet them would be great." Hermione replies
Harry looked over at Corina.
"She's thinking about coming to Valdemar when we return." Corina explains, "I've been giving her pointers."
"Really that's great I know she will fit in with everyone in our group." Harry responds
Corina was trying not to strangle her lifemate. "Harry, second love of my life, you don't even know if she will be Chosen, therefore, she might not fit into our group."
"Rina, I never said she would be but see how smart she is; she'll be at the Collegium in no time I'll bet she'll would be teaching the blues in no time." Harry states
:Chosen, she won't be a teacher at the Collegium. She can't be.: Morgan states :She is neither a Herald, Bard, or Healer so she can't teach at those Collegia, and the Blues' Masters have studied longer then she has at their crafts.: sometimes, Morgan wondered how her Chosen ever gotten out of Grays without knowing that part of life in the Capital.
