Sometime later Harry was trapped in the library with Hermione trying to answer all her questions.
"Will you just breathe?" Harry exclaimed earning a dark look from the librarian.
"But there's so much I need to know your techniques are so similar to some philosophy found throughout our history." Hermione beamed with excitement having filled several notebooks.
"I cannot teach you everything, I have learned at the Collegium." Harry replied as he sat in the chair backwards, "Honestly, if you aren't Chosen on the spot, I'll eat my boots without salt."
"So you normally eat your boot to know you need salt?" Hermione joked.
"So you do have a sense of humor." Corina states coming up, she gave a feather-light mental caress to Harry.
"Just because I'm all about learning does not mean I can't joke." Hermione said while sticking out her tongue.
"And how did you get in the house of Griffins?" Corina questions
Harry looked at Corina.
"How you noticed that our Companions' attention is focused on something else right now?" Corina questions.
"Yes, I think their talking to the others, how don't know." Harry replied
"I wondered what they told the Circle about our circuit." Corina commented as she leaned her hip against the table.
"Properly everything that's happened so far and what our progress is." Harry replied
"Kero is going to have our hides." Corina replies
"10 gold crowns we're on the field doing drills within the hour of us returning." Harry wages
Corina shook her head, "I am not placing a bet with you."
"So you agree the field in an hour. Might be time get some practice in before we head back." Harry replied
"No, I only said I wasn't placing a bet with you. And I am not about to use live steel around children, who will end up getting harmed." Corina replied
"True knowing how curious some are." Harry agreed
Corina then grinned, "This the most time, you spent in a Library"
"Without you locking me in yes, but I wasn't that bad I studied." Harry replies
Corina nods as if she did not believe a word, "So what is Hermione trying to pump you for?"
"You mean what's hasn't she tried to pump me for." Harry answers
"Now listen hear if I'm going to your world I need to know everything I can." Hermione huffed at the two.
"How about you try not to be a Herald without the companion." Corina replies
Hermione just shakes her head im not trying to be a Herald I just want to be well informed before I go that's all."
"What we know is what highborn children know, highborn children have time to play, and be children. Unlike other parts, like the Holderkin." Corina replies
"The Holderkin who are they?" She asked
"A Patriarchal and Authoritarian group of people that live on the southeastern border of Valdemar." Corina answers, "the only reason we know more about them is because of Talia."
"Are you saying their separatists?" Hermione asks
"No, they were granted land in Valdemar if only they obey the queen and the letter of the law and Valdemar is open to all fugitives and refugees of other nations, Valdemar was founded on such people." Corina answers
Hermione nods while absently writing their words.
"You don't really need to know about them." Harry states
Hermione stops and looks down at the notebook "hehe sorry force of habit, I tend to zone out."
"He means, that the Holderfolk don't listen to women." Corina replies
Hermione's eyes flashed with anger.
Corina and Harry shrugged, and recited, "There is no one true way."
Harry saw Hermione grind her teeth in frustration at this.
Harry looked at Hermione and decided to change the subject, "I'm likely putting both boots into my mouth but do you know where I can find a book on the Founders of this place?"
"Of course, just follow me; I know where every book is." Hermione stood and quickly moved down the stacks.
Harry heard Corina snickered at his predicament.
Harry did so, and took the book that Hermione said was the best source of information on the founders. He sat down at the table and started to read, and when he got to the chapter about Rowena Ravenclaw, his jaw dropped in stunned silence. "God of light." He whispered
Hermione looked over his shoulder "What's wrong, Harry?"
"I know where Rowena Ravenclaw's lost diadem is." Harry answers he gently closed the book and put it back exactly where he found it, and left the library.
"Harry, where are you off to?" Hermione asked.
"Didn't you hear what he just said, he found something." Corina replied
"I heard that part but how and where is he heading?" Hermione asks
"Stop asking questions and follow him, how many of you wear pure white!" Corina snapped
Harry just picked up the pace taking many blind turns through the castle. He stopped and a blank wall, 'I want the place where the Lost Diadem of Ravenclaw is located.' He thought at Hogwarts, with all the force of a mindspeaker that he was.
The wall before him changed to reveal a door.
Harry went inside and followed using Mage-Sight and his real vision to see his own faint trail of magic leading to a black box. As Harry opened the box, he saw the tiara laying wrapped in silk. He closed the case and left the room.
As he left the room, he found Hermione waiting for him looking both in awe and annoyed.
"It was hidden in Hogwarts, but I doubt it was here when it was used as vessel for a fragment of soul." Harry explains. "Corina, do you know where Flitwick is?"
"Yes, he should be in his office in the charms corridor." Corina answers
"Lead the way, my fairest of Heralds." Harry states, "I believe Flitwick will be most pleased to put this on display within his House."
Corina lead them all to the charms professor's office.
As they were walking, Hermione brought up the topic of their wedding plans, and asked Harry why the rush?
"It's more to it than that, the wedding of a lifebonded couple is just more of a promising then a real wedding. We Heralds normally only have two great loves." Harry answers "And Heralds seldom live to see old age."
"So then why deal with it if you're already bound." Hermione asks
Corina sighed, "For me, other than being madly in love with Harry, I want to prove that I am living the life I want to my mother, who thinks I shouldn't have became a Herald. My Lord Father sees me as an equal now, but My Lady-Mother is still well stubborn as a mule."
"Sounds like so many reason why young couples elope in our world." Hermione laughed
Harry returned the diadem to the Head of Ravenclaw, who fainted from the shock.
