The NCIS team was in the police station, trying to put all the pieces together while the McKinley students were in the choir room trying to be as calm as possible.
Rachel was in the corner crying and Finn was comforting her. Tina was sitting in a chair in the back next to Mike, staring into space. She was the one who found the body, she saw the dead football player on the ground. She shuddered and closed her eyes, resting her head on Mike's shoulder.
"How are you Queen T?" Blaine asked, walking over and taking a seat on the other side of her.
Tina sighed but didn't open her eyes. "Fine... Just haven't gotten a lot of sleep."
Blaine took her hand and gave it a squeeze. He looked around the room at his fellow glee clubber with a sigh. Since the murder things at McKinley have been nothing but stressful. The NCIS officers have been in and out, taking students and some teachers for questioning.
"Is Berry still crying?" Santana asked. "She's been going at that for a hour now."
"Give her a break Santana," Kurt said. "It's been an emotional past few days. A student was murdered and they haven't found the murder yet."
"Tell me something I don't know Porcelain." Santana rolled her eyes. "I just find it weird that she's crying over someone she doesn't know."
Just as Santana said that, Ziva walked in. "She has every right to cry," Ziva said and Santana mumbled something in Spanish. Ziva responded with some Spanish of her own. Santana smirked and settled back in her seat. Tony walked in behind Ziva. "Alright everyone. All the boys will go with Special Agent DiNozzo and all the girls will come with me," Ziva announced.
"Good thing McGee isn't here," Tony joked and Ziva smiled. Tony turned to the guys. "Let's go!" Tony turned to leave and the guys followed him.
"Excuse me, Agent David?" Mercedes said but pronounced Ziva's name like David not Dahveed.
"It's Dah-Veed!" Tony's voice came from down the hall and Ziva smiled again.
"Anyway, why are the guys being taken away from us?"
"Because we thought that you all would feel comfortable with agents of your own gender," Ziva said just before her phone rang. "Excuse me,"
"David,"
"What do ya got?" Gibbs said.
"Nothing yet. We just separated the kids. I'll call you when we have something,"
"Good," Gibbs said and then hung up. Ziva turned back to the kids and started to question them.
"Are you sure none of you know Mark Anthony?"
"Britt and I know him. He played football for the school," Santana said.
...
Tony was in the auditorium with the guys. "Any of you know Mark Anthony?" Tony said. Puck, Finn, and Mike all shared a look with each other. "You three," Tony pointed to Mike, Puck, and Finn. "Are you not gonna say anything?"
"We know him," Finn said. "He played football with us,"
"Is that it? Did he do any clubs?"
"No. He worked at Breadstix everyday after football practice," Finn said.
"He also threw slushies at us," Blaine said.
"Slushies?" Tony asked.
"Yeah," Kurt said. "They would go to 7-11 and fill up big gulps with slushies and throw it in our faces,"
"That's new," Tony mumbled to himself as he wrote down in his notepad.
"What's new?" Sam asked.
"Forms of bullying," Tony said. "We used to swirly the kids,"
"That's so old school dude," Finn said.
"Yeah. I know," Tony said and then pulled out his phone. He sent Ziva a quick text and then put his phone away. His phone beeped and he pulled it out again.
"Hey, Agent DiNozzo, are you going to ask us more questions or text your girlfriend?" Puck said.
"She is my partner during the hours of 7 in the morning and whenever we get off," Tony said. "We're going back to the choir room and I want all of you guys to stay there," Tony got up and led the boys back to the choir room.
"Agent DiNozzo is going to take you girls now," Ziva said to the girls.
"Alright, come with me," Tony said and he walked the girls to the auditorium.
Puck and Sam high fived when they were left alone with Ziva. "She's so hot," Puck said to Sam.
"Oh yeah," Sam smiled and so did Puck.
"This is gonna be a great day," Puck smiled. Ziva turned around to the boys and smiled at them.
"Agent DiNozzo said Mark Anthony worked at Breadstix?"
"That's right," Puck said and then saw a hot cheerleader walk by so he lost interest.
"What was his job?"
"He was a waiter."
"Anything else we should know about him?" Ziva asked as she fixed her hair. The boys smirked and Puck started to look her up and down.
"He played baseball and basketball," Finn said and Ziva looked up. She noticed Puck looking at her. She accidentally dropped her pen and bent over at the knees to pick it up. She stood back up and look at the boys.
"And it's the same coach for all those sports?"
"Yeah," Finn answered. "I didn't play baseball but Coach beast was the coach for all those sports,"
"Coach Beast?" Ziva asked.
"Yeah she's the football, basketball, and baseball coach,"
"I'll have to talk to her then. Well that's it. I have no more questions for you guys," Ziva said.
"I have a question," Puck said.
"Yes?"
"Is that DiNozzo guy seriously your boyfriend?"
"Yes he is. Why do you ask?"
"Because your smoking hot," Puck smiled.
"I'm too old for you,"
"I don't care," Puck said.
"Alright that's enough," Ziva said and Tony walked back in.
"What's up?" Tony asked Ziva.
"Puck was trying to hit on me," Ziva said and Tony huffed.
"What if I were to hit on you?" Tony whispered in her ear. Ziva smirked.
"I wouldn't mind," Ziva whispered in his ear.
Mr. Schue walked into the choir room, walking over to the piano and placed a folder filled with sheet music on top. He sighed and started looking through them.
"Everything okay Mr. Schue?" Sam asked, giving up with watching Puck flirt with Ziva.
"Yeah, everything's fine," the teacher sighed. "Just trying to find a setlist for regionals."
"You're not gonna find it in there," Rachel said as she walked into the room followed by the other girls. Before the teacher could ask what she was talking about, the girl started going on about how she had the perfect setlist for them since the ending of last year.
"Oh my god. Berry, just shut the hell up." Santana said from her seat in the middle row. "No one cares about show stopping, award winning setlist."
"But wouldn't you though?" Tony asked from by the door, glancing into the hallway where Ziva was on the phone with Gibbs. He looked back at the group. "I mean, with it being 'award winning' and 'show stopping'."
Rachel grinned at him. "Thank you Agent DiNozzo! At least someone understands my talent!"
"I never said I understood it." Tony said but the girl ignored him, going back to talking on and on about her amazing idea for songs until Mr. Schue stopped her.
"Okay, thank you Rachel," He smiled as he cut her off. "Those are awesome ideas but for regionals we want songs that showcase everyone's talent."
"That's a first." Mercedes said under her breath, just loud enough for Kurt to hear it. The boy held back a laugh as Blaine raised his hand.
"Yes Blaine?" Mr. Schue looked over at the boy hopefully. He always has the best song suggestions.
The boy smiled excitedly. "We should do a mash up. I really enjoyed hearing your other ones that Kurt showed me."
The teacher smiled. "Thats an awesome idea Blaine.. Have any songs in mind?"
"Oh!" Tina's hand shot up. "Don't we have one we didn't use? It was-um- Fly and I Believe I Can Fly."
"Wait. You guys actually mash two songs together?" Tony asked as Ziva got off the phone and leaned against the door frame. The students nodded. "How?"
"You take the music and lyrics from each songs, mix them together and we get a beautiful baby song." Brittany explained with a smile, linking her pinky with Santana's.
"Ah…" Tony gave the blond a confused look as Ziva chuckled and shook her head.
"Come on," Ziva said to Tony. "Gibbs said to call it day. We're gonna check out the roller rink again tomorrow and go to Breadstix to question some of the staff."
Tony nodded, waving goodbye to the glee club as they started planning out dance moves for the song. Ziva followed him down the hallway, shamelessly checking him out.
"Take a picture, it'll last longer." Tony joked, stopping and turned around to look at her.
She rolled her eyes and walked past him. He picked up the pace so he was walking next to her. They were quiet as they headed down the hallway and out the main doors. Tony took the keys out of his pocket as they reached the car. He unlocked it and got in the drivers side as Ziva got in on the passenger sided
"So what are we gonna do now?" Tony asked as he pulled out of the parking lot and headed towards the hotel. "Besides order room service and eat some delicious, well earned food."
Ziva shrugged. "I don't know." She looked over at him and smiled. "We'll think of something."
Tony smiled, turning on the radio for some background noise as he drove down the streets of Lima. All he had on his mind was food, solving this case, and what he and Ziva will be doing to entertain themselves tonight.
