(A/N: I'm baaack. And blaaack. Hehe! Anyway! Let's get onto the chapter! More stuff happens!
By the way, sorry if the last chapter seemed sudden. I didn't really want to treat it like a big deal or spend too many chapters on it, so I apologize if you found that abrupt or anything...
Onto the story!)
"Let's all get some frosty chocolate milkshakes!"
That was the first thing Tak heard when she and MiMi returned to Zim's base.
"GIR, I said no!" Zim scolded him. Then he turned to Tak."Oh, you're back. Yayyy."
Skoodge smiled."I'm glad she's back!"
"I'm sure you are!" Zim glared at him."Well, I need some time to myself after all that...interaction. No one bother me while I'm in the lab. I have privacy too! I do!"
"We GET it!" Tak said impatiently.
"...seriously, though. No one come down here. NO OOONE! WHEEEEEE!" Zim exclaimed as he flushed himself.
GIR, who of course never listened, tore off his puppy suit and leapt down after him.
When they were gone, Tak closed the door, sighed, and switched off her disguise.
"OW." she let out loudly.
Skoodge turned off his own disguise."What's wrong?"
"UGH, it's my arm, it's KILLING me!"
"Maybe Zim can give you some medicine. He's a smarty pants!"
"He said that he didn't want to be bothered."
"Well, yeah, but he only says that when he's lonely. And moody."
Tak rolled her eyes."As long this pain goes away, I don't care."
"Whoo!"
They got into the toilet and flushed, leaving MiMi up in the house level.

"...hey, what's that noise?" Skoodge's antennae twitched.
"Hm?" Tak's perked up as well.
"...okay? I don't want you outside too much, it's getting cold..."
Skoodge and Tak could hear Zim talking as they descended.
"And make sure that the zipper on your disguise is up ALL the way, alright? Good."
When the elevator finally reached its destination, its passengers could finally see Zim.
He had his back to them, and he was on one knee in front of GIR, with his hands on the robot's shoulders, like a dad or something. He gave him a kiss on his metal forehead.
"AHEM!" Tak coughed.
"AH!" Zim turned to them, shocked. He kicked GIR across the room (GIR Kicked Count: 3)."YOU SAW NOTHING! ZIM GIVES NO AFFECTION!"
"We weren't...here for that," explained Skoodge."We were wondering if you had some medicine, or...something."
"Yeah. My arm hurts," Tak added, waving it.
"I don't care!" Zim said, frustrated."I said that I wanted to be left alone!"
Tak growled at him. He sighed.
"I shall see to you only so that you go away," he grunted, walking over to a table.
"Hey!" Skoodge raised his hand."Since I have a disguise now, can I go to skool with you guys?"
"Why would you WANT to go with us?" Zim and Tak asked him simultaneously.
Skoodge shrugged.
"That's it. I'm sick of you." Zim pushed a button, and chute appeared above Skoodge.
"AHHHHHH!" Skoodge screamed as it sucked him up.
"Now, Tak, if you would, sit on that table over there?" Zim pointed behind him, as he was digging through a container.
"What ta- -"
A table rose out of the middle of the floor.
"Oh."
Tak walked over and sat on it, rubbing her arm.
Zim continued to rummage through his stuff. Soon, he pulled out a syringe for administering shots.
"Ahh!" Tak flinched at the sight of it."You're not going to use THAT, are you?!"
"What's the matter? Afraid of needllles?" Zim teased her.
"No! Just hurry and find what you need!"
Zim giggled mischievously, but he put the syringe back. Eventually, he found what he was looking for.
"Ah, here it is," he held up the jar."The healing...stuff."
Tak crossed her arms in skepticism."You don't know what is?"
"WELL, I've never used it before! Unlike you, I don't go around getting injured," Zim lied.
"And, let me guess, there's no label on it."
Zim tossed it to her and she caught it carefully. He pulled out a rag."Oh, be quiet. Now to apply the jelly! Roll your sleeve up!"
"Can't I put it on myself?"
"Nonsense! ZIM is the expert! I am a medicinal prodigy!"
Tak was ready to object to that, but she stopped herself. What did it matter at this point? She pulled off her left glove and rolled up the sleeve.
Zim opened the jar and dunked the rag into it.
"NOW!" he shouted, grabbing Tak's injured arm."Witness my mastery of the jelly!"
"OWWW! Ow! OW!" cried Tak when the medicine came in contact with her skin. It stung like crazy!
"Calm yourself!" Zim commanded, trying to hold her in place by her wrist.
"Ouch..."
Soon, the medicine no longer burned, and Tak stopped fighting it. It actually felt...good. Soothing, even. She closed her eyes, relaxed...
She never knew that Zim could be so nice.
"...Tak? Tak!"
She snapped back to reality. "HUH?!"
Zim was sitting next to her on the little table."I have finished my operation. Now that wasn't so bad, was it?"
Tak simply continued looking down at him. With him right next to her, she realized how truly small he was. She knew that Zim was the shortest fully grown Irken out there, but MAN...he was freaking tiny! It was actually kind of cute. His knees were pulled up to his chest, which made him look even smaller.
She was about to thank him for his help when an alarm went off.
"Incoming transmission from the Tallest," announced Computer.
"Ooh, they're hailing me!" Zim leapt off of the table excitedly."Quick, hide yourself!"
Tak ran and hid underneath a platform that was behind a big machine.
"Ah, my Tallest!" Zim grinned at them on the screen."Say, you've been calling me a lot lately! Does this mean that you're considering funding my 'cow demon' idea?"
"NO!" Tallest Purple quickly replied."I mean, ahem, no. We're not. No."
"Mm, you see, we were calling because we noticed that your ship is out of date and hasn't been returned," informed Tallest Red."Not that we care, but it's part of our agenda."
"Oh, you know!" Zim put his hands behind his back sheepishly."I wanted to keep my ship! I still remember the day you gave it especially to me..."
"We don't have time for a flashback!" interrupted Purple.
"Yyyeah," nodded Red."Well, bye, Zim, keep working on your mission. Or whatever."
With that, the Tallest cut the transmission.

"Whew!" huffed Red."I hate having to call Zim!"
Purple sat down nearby."Yeah. Why do we act like Zim is an invader again?"
"Because! If we told him the truth, he'd NEVER stop begging us!"
"True. Why don't we just have him executed?"
"The guy's like a cockroach, he never dies!"
"Oh, right...Remember that time we sent him and Bobby to the sun?"
"Yeah! How did he survive?!"
"I don't...know..."
"Yeah, but at least we got Bobby off of our backs," Tallest Red reminded his partner.
"Oh, yeah."
(A/N: Okay, I admit it, I was a BIT lazy with this chapter! I have a lot of stuff on my plate right now! Speaking of which...I'm hungry.
Also! Before I forget! I know that people are going to say that Zim got taller than Skoodge later in the series and stuff, but really, I just like to think of Zim as the shortest Irken besides the smeets! Just because! So, sorry if that irritated you to any degree.
And please know that it takes time for people like Zim and Tak to fall in love with each other, so this is going to be one lengthy story!
Alright...please review, fave and follow, check out my profile, and I'll see you next time! Au revoir!)
