How Do You Enter the Grand Line?

Luffy was hanging from the ram's head of the Going Merry.

"Nami! Emergency! The light from the light house disappeared!" Luffy yelled.

"Don't worry! It's suppose to disappear," Nami replied as she was studying the map, "That's why you must have a navigator. Trust me. I can remember the way."

Luffy pulled himself up.

"Hmm. You are good," Luffy responded.

Nami and Luffy were the only ones outside in the rain, although Nami was the only one wearing a raincoat.

"Can you get off from there?" Nami asked.

"No! I won't give this seat to you!" Luffy responded.

"Who wants to sit there?" Nami yelled.

Nami returned her attention back to the map.

"But we might be in trouble soon. That rumor must be true," Nami said.

Nami and Luffy went inside the Galley, where everyone was waiting.

Nami slammed the map on the table.

"It seems that the entrance into the Grand Line is a Mountain," Nami responded.

"Mountain?" Luffy and Usopp asked.

"Yes. At first I thought that it's impossible, but look! The place where the guiding light is pointing to is Reverse Mountain of the Red Line," Nami explained.

"Well, that's one way there," Gin said.

"What do you mean?" Nami asked.

"Like you don't know. The other way there is the Calm Belt," Gin replied.

"Calm Belt?" Luffy asked.

"That's a death trap!" Nami responded.

"Not if you have the right equipment built into this ship," Gin responded, "Don't you have any sea stone on this ship?"

"How would a stone helped us!" Nami yelled.

"I guess you don't!" Gin responded, "Listen closely! Sea stone is a special stone that gives off the same energy as the sea. It fools any deep sea creature."

"You know this why?" Zoro asked.

"Because Captain Krieg was a marine before he was a pirate," Gin responded, "How do you think we got fifty ships into the Grand Line?"

"Well I thought… never mind," Nami responded, "The point is, whatever the trick the sea stones have in the Calm Belt, won't matter for us since we don't possess any sea stone, and this ship doesn't have sea stone built in it."

"Well, how do you plan to go up a mountain?" Zoro asked.

"There's a canal on the mountain," Nami responded.

"But canals don't go up the mountain," Usopp responded.

"Someone must have an idea," Zoro responded.

"What about your brother, Luffy?" Usopp asked, "The one that became a pirate before you."

"Which one? Both Sabo and Ace became a pirate before me," Luffy replied.

"How about the one that crossed the Grand Line and, as far as we know, is still alive," Sanji stated.

"Oh! Well, I haven't heard from Ace in three years, so I don't know how he did it," Luffy replied.

"Hey the storm is gone!" Usopp said.

"Yeah! The weather is calm," Sanji agreed.

"That's impossible. If we head towards the storm, we will arrive at the entrance," Nami responded.

They headed outside to see it was calm, and with no wind.

"Hey look! There's the storm!" Luffy yelled as he pointed at the storm clouds in the distance.

"But there's no wind here," Usopp responded.

"We're in the Calm Belt," Gin responded.

"We need to get out of here!" Nami yelled, "Sanji! Get the oars!"

"Yes mi'lady!" Sanji agreed.

"Why?" Usopp asked.

"I have to agree with Nami. Without seastones on this ship, we could be in trouble," Gin responded.

"What's so dangerous about the Calm Belt anyways?" Luffy asked.

"Yeah! What is it?" Usopp asked.

Suddenly the ship started shaking.

"An Earthquake!" Luffy yelled.

"Don't be stupid! We're in the middle of the ocean!" Zoro responded.

A whole bunch of different species of Sea Kings came out of the water, and the Going Merry was on the nose of the largest one.

"The Calm Belt is a giant nest for Sea Kings!" Nami cried while holding onto a mast.

"Sea King? Why didn't you tell me sooner?" Luffy replied, "I can handle this!"

"Luffy, I know you're able to control that Hippo of Arlong's by scaring it, but there's no way you can control a Sea King," Gin responded.

"I'm with Gin!" Sanji agreed.

Luffy took a deep breath and focus his Haki.

"Hey! Sea Kings let us leave here or else!" Luffy yelled.

The sea kings look around confuse.

Well except for the big one they were on.

It started shaking it's head wildly.

"Great job Luffy! You got it to notice us!" Zoro yelled.

"We're going to die!" Usopp cried.

"I don't want to die!" Nami cried.

"Hold on!" Luffy yelled.

Luffy threw his arm back causing it to stretch as he focus so much Haki into it that his arm turned red.

"Haki Powered Gum-Gum Pistol!" Luffy yelled swinging his fist forward.

His fist hit the Sea King with so much force that it cried in pain.

"Now! Let us down and let us leave peacefully!" Luffy yelled, "And tell your buddies to do the same thing!"

The Sea King nodded.

It cried loudly to the other Sea Kings.

One by one, the other Sea Kings started diving into the water.

The huge sea king let the ship down into the water before diving after it's friends.

"How did you know how to do that?" Sanji asked.

"Oh! Well, back on my home island town, there was this Sea King that lives there, and to test my haki power, I fought it without crashing into the sea, and ended up taming it," Luffy responded.

"You tamed a Sea King before?" Sanji asked.

"Who cares? Let's get out of here and back into the storm!" Nami begged.

"Why? Thanks to Luffy, we can just sail through the Calm Belt into the Grand Line," Zoro replied.

"Just do it!" Nami yelled.

They peddled back into the storm.

"I got it!" Nami said.

"What?" Zoro asked.

"We have to go up the mountain," Nami said.

"Are you still thinking about that?" Zoro asked.

"If the waves from the four oceans head to that mountain, it will create a stream! That stream will push the water up to the canal, and when the water has reached the mountain's peak, it will push back to the Grand Line! So the ship can go up the mountain by stream power! The only problem left is how to control the rudder," Nami explained, "Reverse Mountain is a huge iceberg. When the stream hit the mountain, the water will go down. If we can't control our ship to the entrance, we will hit the mountain and sink. Do you understand?"

"Hahaha! So that means it's a magic mountain, right?" Luffy asked.

"It seems that you don't understand," Nami sighed.

"You're so good Nami!" Sanji yeled.

"I never heard that a ship can climb up the mountain," Zoro said.

"Now you see why Don Krieg went through the Calm Belt," Gin responded.

"I see the magic mountain! It is very huge!" Luffy yelled.

Everyone look to see Reverse Mountain of the Grand Line.

A fog surrounded the area.

"Take a deep breath and hold the rudder!" Luffy ordered.

Sanji and Usopp took the rudder.

"This is impossible," Zoro said looking through the binoculars, "There is a stream going up the mountain!"

Sure enough there was a stream being pushed up the mountain.

There were even gates at the front of the stream.

"It's getting off course!" Gin yelled.

"Right! Go right!" Luffy yelled.

Sanji and Usopp pushed the rudder so much that it broke in half.

"The rudder broke!" everyone yelled.

"We're going to hit the gate!" Gin yelled as the Going Merry was heading head first into the gate.

Luffy jumped in front of the gate.

"Gum-Gum Balloon!" Luffy yelled.

Luffy took a deap breath and bloated up like a balloon.

Luffy hit the gate, and the ship hit and bounced off him.

"Luffy!" Zoro yelled as he extend his hand out.

Luffy deflated himself, stretch his arm out, and grabbed Zoro's.

Luffy pulled himself on the ship.

Now the Going Merry was on the right course, up the stream.

"We did it!" Everyone yelled.

The Going Merry reached the peak, took a jump, and landed on the downhill stream toward the greatest and most dangerous sea known: the Grand Line.
