(A/N: I HAVE RETURNED! Again, thank you all so much for your kind words and support on this story! You're really keeping me alive! Okay, let's do it TO IT!)
"GIR! When I find you, I'm going to unscrew those stupid eyes of yours out of your insane little head!"
"Zim, there's no need to threaten...although that was a pretty good one."
You're probably a little confused about what's happening right now. You see, Zim and Tak had spent, like, an hour breaking into Dib's garage, and when they got in...they didn't find the ship. So Zim felt like an idiot for actually believing GIR. However, the robot couldn't have known any better.
Unbeknowest to he and the two Irkens, Dib was currently storing the spacecraft with the Swollen Eyeballs for safe keeping. He wanted to make sure that Tak didn't find out until he was ready for her to.
That, and he bet Agent Disembodied Head two bucks that he had a real alien spaceship. That guy was gonna pay.
(A/N: Wow, what lazy exposition.)
So, Zim continued to search for his deranged SIR unit, ready to dismantle him in a brutal, M-rated fashion.
"I told you Dib didn't have it!" groaned Tak."That was a bloody waste of time! Why couldn't you have just trusted me?!"
Zim pulled his head out from beneath the couch."An invader trusts no one! You never know who the enemy will be! This is why we don't associate with humans such as the Dib-beast!"
"I know, I know! I only keep Dib around for some stability and information! But..."
"We're allies? Is that what you were going to say?"
"No..."
"I bet you were."
"I just said I wasn't!"
"We are not allies, Tak!" Zim continued, ignoring her."Do not forget, we only keep this horrible deal until you find that ship of yours! Then you're out of Zim's life!"
"I know that, but you could at least see me as a person and not some requirement on a mission! I have my own skills and attributes too, and they should be recognized! Try starting to learn how to trust people, it might save your life someday," She passed Zim and walked into the kitchen.
"I have trusted you once before. And you stole my Voot," Zim reminded her.
Tak looked back at him as she climbed into the toilet."...well, things have changed."
Zim wasn't sure how to respond to that. He looked at her strangely.
She pointed at him."By the way, you have some dust bunnies in your wig."
"Oh, gross!" Zim reached up to pull them out.
"Haha, just kidding!" snickered Tak, heading down to the lab."See, you're trusting me alreadyyy!"
"GAH!" Zim's cheeks burned, as he had allowed himself to be tricked so easily.
"Curse you, curse you, CURSE YOU!"

"...where IS everybody?!"
Zim and Tak had gotten to Skool, and there was no one there. They sat alone, in Ms. Bitters's unusually empty classroom.
"Are you sure we're not just early?" Tak asked nonchalantly.
Zim began searching the room for anybody."Where are all you hideous people hiding?! Normally, I can pick up your stench from miles away!"
"What are you doing here?!"
When Zim looked up, he saw Ms. Bitters growling at him."One of my only days away from you children, and you show up anyway! Get out of here!"
"Isn't today Thursday?" asked Tak, confused.
"Yes, but skool is canceled due to the town carnival," Ms. Bitters said."It's the only source of amusement for these people, and the only thing besides death to look forward to."
"Car-nee-vall?" enunciated Zim."What is this carnival?"
"Why don't you go find out?" Ms. Bitters suggested coldly. She pointed out the window."It's just over there."
Zim and Tak peered out, and they could see an assortment of brightly colored little buildings just over the horizon. Balloons floated about it, and the sound of giddy music emanated from it.
"Wow..." they sighed.
"It looks so magical..." observed Zim.
"And so full of life..." added Tak.
Zim perked up."Full of life..."
"Yes, you see?" Ms. Bitters picked them up by their collars."How about you get over there?"
With that, she tossed them out the front doors of Skool.
Zim grinned.
"TO THE CARNIVAL!"
(A/N: I know, I know, everyone expected better. I think I had plans for this chapter, but none them turned out well. That sucks...especially after all the hype about it, it really fell flat.
Anywho, the next chapter WILL be better! I shall not fail you! I mean, it's chapter twenty, it HAS to be good!
Plus, the summary is probably going to change next time.
And, in case you haven't noticed, I REALLY like writing for Ms. Bitters.
Sigh...I guess that's all I have...Sorry, hopefully I'll update soon, but you know how life is...it'll take a while...
Bye...)
