A Whale of a Problem

The Going Merry junmped at the peak and landed on the only stream going down the mountain to the sea bellow.

"This is the world's greatest sea: The Grand Line!" Luffy yelled, "Let's go!"

They passed through the clouds and wind passed by loudly.

For some reason, Sanji and Usopp ended up on the mast of the ship, hanging on to dear lives.

"Bo!"

"What was that?" Gin asked.

"Hey! Did you hear something?" Zoro asked.

"Who cares? Let's go!" Luffy yelled.

"Sounded like a cry from an animal to me," Gin replied.

"It might be the wind. After all, the atmosphere here is different from the East Blue!" Nami explained.

"I been to the Grand Line and witness its weather first hand, and I know that's not the wind," Gin replied.

"Yeah, but you never went through this entrance," Luffy replied.

"How does that make a difference?" Gin asked.

"I'm with Gin there," Zoro agreed.

"Bo!"

Usopp and Sanji saw some kind of shadow through the clouds.

"What in the world?" Usopp asked.

"Nami! There's a mountain blocking our way!" Sanji yelled.

"That's impossible! If we get through this passage we should be in open sea!" Nami replied.

"Well, there's something there!" Usopp yelled.

"Bo!"

When they passed through the clouds, they could see what it was.

It was a huge whale (a size of an island) that had its head sticking out of the water with its snout facing the air.

The most distinctive thing about it was the deep scars on its snout.

"It's a whale!" everyone yelled.

"Bo!" the whale cried.

"What should we do?" Gin asked.

"We can fight," Luffy suggested.

"How are we suppose to fight a giant whale?" Nami yelled.

"Haki," Zoro suggested.

"Yeah! Maybe if we combine our Hakis, it will move!" Usopp agreed.

"Wait a minute guys! Maybe we can move around this whale without being noticed," Sanji suggested.

"Yeah! If it looks huge to us, maybe we're a speck to it!" Nami agreed.

"I like using Haki better," Luffy said.

"You just want to tame that beast, don't you?" Gin asked.

Luffy grinned instead of answering.

"There's a passage way on the left! Someone take the rudder!" Zoro yelled.

"The rudder is broken," Gin reminded him.

"We have to do something!" Zoro yelled.

"I have an idea!" Luffy yelled.

Luffy ran into the ship.

"Does anyone else have a bad feeling about this?" Gin asked.

"I do," Nami responded.

Zoro tried to control the rudder through it's remains.

However, nothing was working.

Suddenly the front cannon from the weapon room fired and hit the whale.

"The cannon?!" everyone yelled.

…Weapon Room…

"Is the ship stopping?" Luffy asked.

…Outside…

The ship hit the whale with enough force that the ram head broke off and luckily landed on the deck of the ship.

"This is a nightmare! We're going to die here," Nami panicked.

Luffy was heading toward the deck of the ship when he saw the ram head hit the deck of the ship.

"My special seat!" Luffy cried.

The whale was quiet.

Things seemed to have calmed down.

"Let's get out of here!" Zoro ordered.

Sanji and Usopp jumped down and helped row the ship through the only passage.

However, when they passed by the whale's eye, Luffy came out.

"Hey whale! You destroyed my special seat!" Luffy yelled with high ammount of Haki.

The whale seemed to heard Luffy and looked at him.

"Haki Powered Gum-Gum Pistol!" Luffy yelled as he stretched his first forward with great ammount of Haki and hit the whale.

"Idiot! What are you trying to do?" Nami yelled.

"Bo!" the whale cried as it felt the power.

The whale moved back, lowered its head in front of the ship, opened its mouth, and pulled everything into it.

Through the chaos Luffy fell off the Going Merry as it was pulled inside.

Luffy stretched his hand to the snout of the whale, grabbed it, and pulled himself up before he fell into the water.

Now, Luffy was on top of the whale.

"What am I going to do? Everyone has been swallowed," Luffy responded.

Suddenly the whale started diving.

"Not good!" Luffy started panicking.

That was until he saw a latch on the whale.

Without thinking anything further, or anything at all, Luffy opened up the hatch and jumped into the whale before it completely dived into the ocean.
