Course Set: Set Off To Whiskey Peak
Mr. Nine and Ms. Wednesday were on a raft, watching over the Straw Hats.
"How can you lose the Log Post, Mr. Nine?" Ms. Wednesday asked.
"I am really sorry, Ms. Wednesday. If we don't have it, we can't go back home," Mr. Nine responded.
"Our duty was to kill the whale. It took too long, and we haven't even succeed," Ms. Wednesday said, "If we don't hurry up and give the results to our boss, we'll be in trouble."
"But we don't have any weapons, and we don't have time to steal it from anyone," Mr. Nine responded.
They heard something coming right at them from above and looked up to see a vulture and an otter riding on it, both wearing sunglasses.
The otter cut a package as the vulture straightened up.
The package hit the raft and exploded.
…
Sanji, Mr. Nine, and Ms. Wednesday reached shore and gasped.
The three look at each other.
Then Sanji got out of the sea and reached his hand toward Ms. Wednesday.
"Please give me your hand mi'lady," Sanji said.
"Err okay," Ms. Wednesday agreed.
Sanji helped her up and walked her toward the rest of the crew.
"Hey! What about me?" yelled Mr. Nine, who was left behind in the sea.
…
Mr. Nine manage to catch up with Sanji and Ms. Wednesday.
Now they were with the Straw Hat Crew.
"We would like you to take us back to our town of Whiskey Peak," Mr. Nine requested.
"Whiskey Peak? What is it?" Luffy asked.
"It's the name of our town!" Mr. Nine yelled.
"Why are you asking us to help you?" Gin asked.
"Don't you have a ship?" Usopp asked.
"Who are you anyways?" Nami asked.
"My name is Mr. Nine," Mr. Nine replied.
"And I'm Ms. Wednesday. Our ship was… um… wrecked," Ms. Wednesday explained.
"What's your real names?" Nami asked.
"We ca't tell you that!" Ms. Wednesday replied.
"But we really want to go back to our town. We will pay you! We won't even hunt the whale anymore!" Mr. Nine responded.
"Pay?" Nami asked with interest.
"We didn't want to do this job, but our company motto is to keep our lives a secret. We can't say anything. Everything is up to your kindness," Ms. Wednesday replied.
"Stop pretending! No matter what they say, they must not be trust!" Crocus replied.
"I agree with him," Gin agreed.
"Besides, we broke your log post by accident," Nami responded as she showed them the remains of it.
"You broke my log post?!" Mr. Nine cried.
"That means you can't go anywhere either!" Ms. Wednesday yelled.
"Oh wait! I forgot that Crocus promised that he would give us one of his Log Post," Nami teased.
"Please take us with you!" Mr. Nine and Ms. Wednesday begged as they thought, "She's so tricky."
"Okay!" Luffy said.
"Okay what?" Usopp asked.
"We'll take them to their home town!" Luffy replied.
"What?" Usopp yelled.
"Thank you," Mr. Nine and Ms. Wednesday responded.
"Hold on! Before we go anywhere, I want to negotiate about our payment," Nami responded.
"Um… Okay!" Mr. Nine and Ms. Wednesday agreed.
"Are you sure about this, Luffy? We don't know anything about these people," Gin responded.
"We need to chart our next course anyways, and they said they won't kill Laboon, so what's the problem?" Luffy responded.
…
They waited for the log post to pick up on Whiskey Peak's magnetic field, which took a while since there were 7 nearby islands.
During the time, Usopp finished repairing the ship including the steering rod as best as he could.
"It should be pointing the right direction now," Crocus said.
"Yes! It's pointing toward Whiskey Peak," Nami agreed.
Everyone boarded the Going Merry, except for Crocus, who was staying, and Zoro, who was already on the ship, still asleep.
"Are you sure you want to go to Whiskey Peak with these people?" Crocus asked.
"If we don't like it, we can go back," Luffy responded.
"Stupid pirates!" Mr. Nine and Ms. Wednesday thought as they tried to hide their laughs.
Gin noticed their behavior and glared at them.
"By the way, Luffy. Your brother's name is Portgas D. Ace, right?" Crocus asked.
"Yeah! Do you know him?" Luffy asked.
"I met him once on the way here. He told me about a little brother that might be coming here. I didn't think he was serious!" Crocus responded.
"You know where he's at?" Luffy asked.
"Sadly no! But if he's still in the Grand Line, and is anything like you, I'm sure he's fine," Crocus explained.
"Thanks," Luffy responded.
"Also! If you want to become the Greatest Haki User known, you should visit an island without a magnetic field at the mid-way point," Crocus said.
"Island without a magnetic field? How is that possible?" Nami asked.
"You'll see when you reach the midway point," Crocus said, "Anyways, there's a man there I think you'll be interested in meeting that could help you in your goal."
"Okay! Thanks!" Luffy responded.
"We better get going before the log post reset itself again," Nami responded.
"Okay! See you later Mr. Flower!" Luffy yelled.
"His name is Crocus," Usopp told Luffy.
Laboon came out of the sea.
"Bo!" Laboon cried.
"I'm going now, Laboon! But I'll be back!" Luffy yelled.
They set sail.
"I might of not seen that boy use much haki, or in action, but he might have what it takes to become king of the pirates and become the greatest Haki User known," Crocus thought, "You probably will agree, Gol D. Rogers and Reyleigh."
A/N: Remember Gol D. Rogers is Rogers real name in the story. The actual name Gold Rogers is like a nickname.
