A Town That Welcomes Pirates

The Going Merry was sailing up the river of the island.

There were people on the shores watching them.

Some of them were talking.

"Are those humans?" Usopp asked.

"I'm not sure! It's too foggy," Gin replied.

Suddenly, the towns people came out and started cheering.

"Welcome pirates! Welcome to our town!" the people cheered.

"Ho!" Luffy responded.

"I expected monsters, not a warmwelcome," Usopp said.

"Something isn't right," Gin said.

"What's going on here?" Sanji asked.

"Congratulations on your brave journey!" the people cheered.

Sanji saw some girls cheering in the crowd.

"There's a lot of cute girls here," Sanji said with love interest.

"It seems that pirates are the heroes of this town!" Usopp said as he started greeting the towns people.

"Wow!" Luffy yelled as he waved.

…

When they docked, they were greeted by a big well dressed man with his hair curled into big curls.

"Welcome! My name is Igarappoi. This is Whiskey Peak, the town of music and liquor!" the man said, "It's our honor to welcome you. We have a lot of liquor here."

The Straw Hats got off the ship.

"If you don't mind, I would like to ask you to join a party and tell us about your adventures," Igarappoi explained.

"Sure!" Usopp Luffy and Sanji cheered.

"Idiots!" Nami Zoro and Gin thought.

Nami walked up to Igarappoi.

"How long will it take to record the magnetic field on this island?" Nami asked.

"Record? We shal talk about that after you've been rested," Igarappoi replied, "Let's party everyone. Let's being the music to welcome these brave warriors."

"Yeah!" Everyone cheered.

…

In the distance, the vulture and otter from before were watching over things, as if observing those on the island.

…That Night…

Most of the Straw Hats were partying with the towns people of Whiskey Peak.

"So, I said to them 'You better let us down or else!' and the Sea Kings ran scared!" Usopp told those that were listening the adventure in the Calm Belt only with him being the hero of the crew that scared the Sea Kings.

"Wow! You're so cool Captain Usopp!" the girls cheered.

"The Calm Belt was nothing for a brave warrior of the sea like me," Usopp responded.

Zoro out dranked a villager, who had passed out.

"Wow! He has defeated 10 people!" someone said.

"Yahoo!" Nami yelled.

"And this girl defeated 12!"

"More food!" Luffy ordered, even though his stomach was twice his size.

"I give up!" a chef said.

"The captain can eat a meal for 20 people!"

Sanji was flirting with a bunch of girls.

"The chef can get 20 girls at the same time!"

Gin sighed at his crewmate's stupidtiy.

Igarappoi hit him lightly on the shoulder.

"Come, young man! Enjoy the party," Igarappoi told Gin.

"Sorry, but I'm not much a partying type," Gin respodned, "Especially to a town that is suspiciously good to pirates."

"Suspiciously? I have no clue what you mean by that," Igarappoi responded.

"Then tell me, what do you know of two people called 'Mr. Nine' and 'Ms. Wednesday'?" Gin demanded.

"Who?" Igarappoi asked.

"Tch! Never mind," Gin responded, "I'm going back to the ship."

"If you insist! But if you're ever hungry, you are welcome to join us!" Igarappoi responded.

"I survived weeks once without a single food to eat. I think I can last one night," Gin responded.

"Very well!" Igarappoi responded as he thought, "We better keep an eye on that one."

…Somewhere Else in Town…

Ms Wednesday and Mr. Nine were going over and writing down a report.

"Even though we cannot accomplish our mission of bringing food to our town, we have succeeded in bringing those pirates to this island. Sincerely baby!" Mr. Nine read over and said, "If the Boss gets this report, I hope that everything will be better."

"Yes. So we must hurry and put this report in an unlucky box," Ms. Wednesday responded, "Then Mr. 13 and Ms. Friday will deliver it to the box."

They put the report in a delivery box marked 'Baroque' with a skull with wings and with two crossed swords.

…Party…

Zoro gave up after out drinking 13 people.

Nami out drank the last person, who was dressed as a nun, before passing out.

Luffy was finally full after wearing out three chefs.

Usopp and Sanji just passed out from partying.

…Close by…

Gin was secretly wondering around town with his hands near his tonfas.

"I'm former commander of the Krieg Pirates' fleet, and I can tell when something is stirring. If they think I'll just leave without finding what that is, they have another thing coming," Gin responded.

Fortunately, he wasn't' the only one who have seen through the gimmick.
