Anonymous Review: Then, you're probably the first. I guess it depends on the flow, and maybe age (because it does start out not being as heavy when you're younger). The older you get, the heavier the blood, so many times when we realize we're on our period, the blood just comes out. For Jaylin, she was sick, so she was asleep during the time when it starts flowing out like a river.
A month ago, I was just sitting on my bed, playing on my computer. Nothing happened, I never received any sign, then BOOM a puddle of blood was found on my bed. If you haven't had an accident yet, it's gonna come. Just waiting until your underwear shows a black or red spot isn't enough to prevent yourself from having an accident like that.
Here's the next chapter! We're back to the duels with a Syrus versus Jaylin. This will be based on the duel from the manga, because it was ten times better than the anime version. The first part of the duel is done by me, since the first part was never shown. Enjoy and review please!
Jaylin was excited about dueling against Syrus. She was only one step away from dueling Zane, knowing whoever the winner of this duel would be would duel against him. Syrus was more than ready, excited about dueling Jaylin before his brother. After all, he did befriend Jaylin before Zane did.
Syrus began looking back. In the grand scheme of things, he had been the reason Zane and Jaylin met and formed a strong unforgettable friendship. Zane had never really grew close with anyone, at least not as close as he had with Atticus and Fuji. He had friends, but they were more like school buddies; never really close friends that he could open up to, share his thoughts and feelings, or become emotionally attached, aside from family. Even with Alexis, who was Atticus' sister, they never really did much together.
When Jaylin came into the picture, Zane distant himself for a while, but then something happened to him that began opening his heart to Jaylin. It was as if she read and knew the pain Zane felt from the effects of the Shadow Games before anyone else. It had been between that baseball game, and Jaylin's Shadow Game against Titan, that Zane seemed to let himself become really close to someone that wasn't family.
Syrus wanted some way to thank Jaylin for being Zane's friend, and believed this would be a perfect way to show his graditude. He would give Jaylin the ultimate duel against the little brother of Zane Truesdale. It may not be the same as her rematch against Zane, but it was still something. It didn't mean that Syrus wasn't good. He was able to make it to Slifer Red for a reason.
"LET'S GIVE A ROUND OF APPLAUSE TO OUR NEXT DUELISTS! SYRUS TRUESDALE AND JAYLIN YUKI!" Dr. Crowler announced as the audience applauded loudly for Syrus and Jaylin, each stepping onto the dueling stage across from each other.
They both shook hands, then played Rock-Paper-Scissors to decide who would go first. Syrus was first, and Jaylin was second. They drew six cards, then Syrus drew his first card.
"I'll start by summoning Shovelroid in attack mode," Syrus declared as a huge green truck with a huge shovel, and cartoony eyes on its headlights, appeared in an attack position. "I place one card face-down, and end my turn." The audience clapped for the end of Syrus' turn as Jaylin drew her next card.
"I play Mystical Space Typhoon, and destroy your face-down!" Jaylin declared as she showed her spell card, then a giant typhoon on the field traveled to Syrus' face-down, shattering it. "I summon Lady Heat in attack mode, then have her attack your Shovelroid!" Jaylin declared as the flaming super lady appeared on the field, then shot a burst of flames from her hands at Shovelroid, bursting it from the field. Syrus was left with 3700 life points remaining, activating the effect of Shovelroid by discarding one card in his hand, and replacing it with a spell card from his deck. "I throw down a face-down, and end my turn!" The audience clapped for the end of Jaylin's turn as a ring of fire surrounded Elemental HERO Lady Heat, then around Syrus, dropping his life points down to 3500.
Syrus drew his next card, then peered at his hand before deciding, "I summon Tankroid in attack mode!" A cartoony green tank with eyes and arms appeared on the field on its hinge wheels. "Then, have Tankroid attack your Lady Heat!" Tankroid placed itself down on its wheels, then loaded up its launcher, then shot its misses at Elemental HERO Lady Heat before...
"I activate my trap card Hero Barrier!" Jaylin declared as a huge shield covered Elemental HERO Lady Heat, preventing the attack.
"I place one card face-down and end my turn!" Syrus ended as the audience applauded for the end of his turn.
Jaylin drew her next card, peered at it, then said, "I place Lady Heat in defense mode..." Elemental HERO Lady Heat changed into a defense position. "then, I summon Stratos to the field!" The blue winged Elemental HERO appeared boldly onto the field. "It destroys Tankroid!" Elemental HERO Stratos flew into the air, grabbed Tankroid by its missile launcher with its two hands, then smashed it onto the ground. Syrus' life points dropped to 3200.
"I activate my trap Return Ticket to summon another Tankroid from my deck!" Syrus declared as a garage door appeared in front of him, opening to reveal another Tankroid.
"Geez! How many of these things do you have!?" Jaylin asked with widened eyes.
"A few," Syrus shrugged, a slight smirk written on his face. "Also, Tankroid's effect activates!" He drew one card, due to the effect of Tankroid, from his graveyard.
"I end my turn," Jaylin declared as the audience applauded for the end of her turn, then another ring of fire appeared around Elemental HERO Lady Heat and Syrus, dropping Syrus' life points down to 2800.
Syrus drew his next card, trying to decide what move to play next. He began, "I play Tune-Up on Tankroid!" Tankroid's attack rose to 1800, and defense to 2200. "Time to destroy your fire lady!" Tankroid, once again, loaded up its launcher, then fired at Elemental HERO Lady Heat, obliterating it from the field. "I place one card face-down, then end my turn!" Syrus ended as the audience clapped for the end of his turn.
"I use the effect of Stratos to attack you directly!" Jaylin declared as Elemental HERO Stratos flew up in the air, its attack being cut in half, then aimed right for Syrus before...
"I activate Transformation!" Syrus declared as a swirling vortex began circling around him, and a suit appeared on his body, which was obviously holographic. It looked as if he was wearing some sort of light blue dragon armor with spikes on the back; a dragon head for a helmet, and clawed-like feet. As Elemental HERO Stratos came charging for him, Syrus punched the Elemental HERO in his new suit, destroying it.
Jaylin was lipping 'wow!' as the audience applauded loudly, making whistling noises. Transformation wasn't Syrus' most known card, but his play was awesome enough to get the full crowd's attention. Jaylin seemed like she'd never seen Syrus use that card before, especially given that she had been to every single one of Syrus' previous duels, aside from the one she skipped due to her flu.
"Well, da-amn!" Jaylin responded, her eyes in pure amazement. A bright grin appeared on her face. "I didn't know there was a card like that!"
"Cool huh? I got it on the ground in the middle of the parking lot," Syrus replied with his braggy.
"Huh... I summon Woodsman in defense mode!" Jaylin declared as Elemental HERO Woodsman appeared with such strength in a defense position. "Then, I activate Oil!" She searched through her graveyard, then returned Elemental HERO Lady Heat into her hand. "I end." The audience clapped for the end of her turn as Syrus' life points dropped to 2400. Syrus drew his next card.
"I summon Shuttleroid in attack mode!" Syrus said as a huge white spaceship with wings, using its landing gears as hands and feet, and eyes for its front window. The audience applauded for the summon of Shuttleroid, being that it was one of Syrus' most famous monsters. "I end my turn." The audience clapped for the end of Syrus' turn.
Jaylin drew her next card, then a smirk appeared upon her face. She said, "I use Polymerization to fuse Lady Heat and Heat to bring out Elemental Hero Inferno!" Elemental HERO Heat and Lady Heat fused together in the light, and appeared as Elemental HERO Inferno. Syrus' eyes widened slightly, recognizing the mighty monster that burned Titan alive. The audience applauded or the summon of this Elemental HERO. "I use Inferno to attack Shuttleroid!" Elemental HERO Inferno's magma hands began glowing red hot, aiming for Shuttleroid to shoot it down.
"I use Shuttleroid's special ability, and remove it from play!" Syrus slightly glared as Shuttleroid disappeared instantly from the field, and Elemental HERO Inferno shot a blast of magma at Syrus directly. Then, he used the effect of Transformation, which made him catch the magma, and blast it back at Elemental HERO Inferno, blasting it from the field.
The audience replied with an "Ooooooh" as Syrus showed a smirk.
"I guess that ends my turn," Jaylin finished as the audience clapped for the end of her turn.
Syrus drew his next card, then peered at it. He declared, "I summon Carrieroid, than end my turn!" A huge blue navy ship with chained arms and cartoony eyes appeared on the field before the audience clapped for the end of his turn.
Jaylin drew her next card, declaring, "I activate Pot of Greed!" She drew two cards from her deck to her hand. "Next, I summon Elemental Hero Voltic to the field!" The electric Elemental HERO appeared boldly on the field. "I equip him with Voltic Spear!" A huge golden spear appeared in Elemental HERO Voltic's right hand. Elemental HERO Voltic's attack rose to 2000. "I throw down a face-down, then I end my turn!" The audience clapped for the end of her turn.
Instantly, Shuttleroid returned back to Syrus' field as the audience applauded for Shuttleroid's return. Jaylin groaned as the spaceship flew right over her, and took out 1000 of her life points, bringing them down to 3000. Syrus smirked victoriously, pumping his fist in the air.
"Now, I have three roid monsters, and will put them to good use! I special summon Armoroid, due to its effect, then equip it with Carrieroid, Tankroid and Shuttleroid as equip spell cards!" Syrus smirked as a huge robot appeared onto the field, while Carrieroid, Tankroid and Shuttleroid all equip themselves onto the robot. The audience applauded loudly for the summon of Armoroid, Syrus' strongest monster. "Armoroid attacks your Woodsman, and deals damage due to its effect!" Armoroid punched Elemental HERO Woodsman, leaving Jaylin with 1650 life points remaining. "That ends my turn!" The audience clapped for the end of Syrus' turn.
Jaylin drew her next card, showing bright eyes, then declared, "I play Hero Solitary by removing two Elemental Hero's from my graveyard to get rid of Carrieroid and Shuttleroid!" Armoroid's attack dropped to 1500 as Carrieroid and Shuttleroid were shown bursting from Armoroid. "Now, Voltic can destroy Armoroid!" Elemental HERO Voltic lifted its Voltic Spear into the air, collecting electricity, then shooting it right at Armoroid, destroying it into chunks, leaving Syrus with 1900 life points left. "And, to finish it off, I activate Master Magician's Incantation to activate R – Righteous Justice from my hand, and destroy your Transformation. And, that's game!" Jaylin smirked as Syrus' Transformation burst from the field and Syrus' life points dropped to 0.
"LOOKS LIKE JAYLIN YUKI WINS THIS ROUND!" Dr. Crowler announced as the crowd stood up and applauded loudly.
Jaylin and Syrus ran to each other, holding their hands and lifting them up in the air. Syrus then hugged Jaylin tightly, laughing excitedly.
"Good luck against my brother!" Syrus said.
"You know it!" Jaylin replied brightly.
"I mean it! You both have been dueling your hardest up to this moment. I want you to duel your hardest."
"I will! Promise!" Jaylin winked. "Also..." She placed her two fingers on her forehead, then shot them toward Syrus. "GOTCHA!" The duo laughed in the end with glee.
