An Unneccessary Battle: Luffy vs. Zoro

Vivi was still leading Carue out of the battle.

"Hurry Carue!" Vivi ordered, "There's a ship behind the cactus mountain!"

"Quack!" Carue responded.

Mr. Five and Ms. Valentines stood her way.

"Oh no!" Vivi responded.

"Hello Princess and goodbye," Mr. Five said.

He picked his nose and flicked a booger bomb at her.

Zoro came out of nowhere and blocked it with one of his katanas.

The booger bomb exploded.

"Mr. Swordsman!" Vivi yelled.

Zoro appeared out of the smoke, okay thanks to haki armor.

"Who are you?" Mr. Five asked.

"I just cut through a booger!" Zoro complained.

"Why are you here?" Vivi yelled.

"Relax. I've come here to help you out," Zoro told her.

"What? Help me?" Vivi responded.

…

Gin was pacing around.

"I should go help deal with our enemy," Gin said.

"Don't worry! Zoro has a lot more experience in using Haki than you. He'll be fine," Nami said.

"But…" Gin responded.

"Mr. Eight!" someone yelled.

Everyone turned to see it was Ms. Monday, battered up from being beaten by Zoro, but alive.

"Is what I heard true? Are you one of the royal guards of Alabasta and Ms. Wednesday is actually the princess?" Ms. Monday asked.

"What is it too you?" Gin asked.

"It's okay!" Igaram responded, "Yes, Ms. Monday! What you heard is true?"

"How can you trust her?" Gin asked.

"Because, just as Princess Vivi was assign to Mr. Nine to be his partner, Ms. Monday was assigned to me to be my partner," Igaram explained.

"Yes, and I would do anything to help my friends, even betray Baroque Works," Ms. Monday explained, "And considering that Mr. Nine view the princess as his friend and partner, he probably already done just that for her."

"What exactly is Baroque Works?" Nami asked.

"Zoro said it was a company full of bounty hunters and mercenaries," Gin responded.

"It's more than that. It's a secret criminal agency. None of the members know about the boss. Our work includes investigation, murder, steal, and pirate hunting. Everyone will follow the boss' orders," Ms. Monday said.

"Yes, and the main goal of Baroque Work is to create the dream country. And he convinced everybody that he will give a good position when his dream country is completed," Igaram said.

"Who is this boss anyways?" Gin asked.

"His code name is Mr. Zero. The less the code number, the higher rank the agent and the better they will fight," Igaram explained.

"Especially those with a code number less than five," Ms. Monday said.

"Ms. Monday… Moi… I want you to travel with these kids and insure the safe return of Princess Vivi," Igaram requested.

"What about you?" asked Ms. Monday, also known as Moi.

"I'll try to create a distraction," Igaram agreed.

"Okay," agreed Moi.

"Wait! I'm still not sure if we should bring her!" Gin said.

"Calm down Gin. If what you say is true, then we're going to need all the help we can get," Nami said.

"We still need to bring this whole thing up to Luffy," Gin said.

"He'll be fine," Nami said.

"We are talking about the same captain that has a tendency to listen too every other thing we tell him, and ignores the rest, right?" Gin asked.

"Hmm… we be better go find him and fill him in," Nami said.

…

They headed into the house to find that Luffy was missing.

"Now where can that idiot go off too?" Nami practically yelled.

"Why do we need that idiot's approval?" Moi asked.

"Because he's the captain," Gin replied.

"I thought the swordsman was the captain," Moi responded, "He did seem to be a Haki expert."

"Haki expert? I wish!" Nami said, "Everytime we think we know enough about Haki, Luffy shows us a new trick he hasn't taught us."

"What Nami mean is, Luffy was the one who founded this crew, not to mention the strongest out of all of us," Gin said.

"He didn't seem that way during the party," Moi responded.

"That's because he was foolish enough to fall for this trap," Nami said, "We should go find Luffy."

"What about Sanji and Usopp?" Gin asked.

They turned to their shipmates, who were still asleep.

"Leave them for now!" Nami said, "We'll get them as soon as the princess is safe."

And so they left.

…Zoro…

"So you're the swordsman who helped destroyed the town," Mr. Five said, "Why are you helping the princess of Alabasta?"

"I have my own reasons," Zoro replied.

"It doesn't matter. You're just a simple obstacle in the way," Mr. Five said.

"That's right! And just like one, I can crush you to the ground with my power," Ms. Valentines agreed.

Suddenly a powerful flare of Haki hit the area, weakening those that were caught in it, except for Zoro.

"Zoro!" yelled someone.

Luffy came storming to them, still super fat from the party.

"Oh! It's you Luffy," Zoro responded.

"I won't forgive you Zoro!" Luffy yelled, "Let's fight!"

"What?" Zoro responded, "What are you talking about?"

"Shut up! They gave us a warm welcome and brung us good food, but you harm all those kind people!" Luffy yelled, "I will crush you!"

Zoro realized Luffy must have seen the results of his and Gin's competition on the bounty-hunters.

"Wait! You don't understand!" Zoro responded.

"Don't make excuses!" Luffy yelled as he came at Zoro.

Zoro dodge the attack and was forced to fight back.

Mr. Five and Ms. Valentines decided to use the moment to attack Vivi.

"Would you stop being an idiot?" Zoro yelled as he kicked Luffy right into Mr. Five and Ms. Valentines right into the building.

Then the building exploded.

Luffy came out of it, back to his normal weight, and carrying a defeated Mr. Five and Ms. Valentines.

"Man! They forced me to use Haki against them," Luffy said.

"Mr. Five and Ms. Valentines were just defeated by that kid? How is that possible?" Vivi yelled.

"Now to fight you!" Luffy yelled as he charged at Zoro.

Once again, Luffy forced Zoro into fighting.

In no time, the area they were in was destroyed.

"What should I do?" Vivi asked.

"Quack!" Carue responded.

Suddenly a force of haki came out of nowhere and hit Luffy and Zoro, forcing the two to stop.

"Geez! We can't leave you two do anything right," Nami said as she walked up with Gin and Moi, "Zoro! Have you forgotten our deal?"

"Hey! It's not my fault! Luffy started it!" Zoro yelled.

"I don't care!" Nami responded.

"Zoro!" Luffy yelled as he charge at Zoro again.

Gin stoppped Luffy cold by grabbing him into an arm lock.

"Cool it Luffy!" Gin warned.

"Ms. Monday, what are you doing here with them?" Vivi asked.

"Mr. Eight explained things to me and asked me to help them protect you," Moi replied.

"What?" Vivi asked.

"Yes! And we got to make a deal," Nami explained.
