"Okay what do The Wanted, Tinie Tempah, and Chumbawumba all have in common?" Sebastian asked.

"They're all British?" Cori answered.

"Well, yes, but they're also all one-hit wonders." Sebastian explained. "This week's assignment will be performing one-hit wonder songs, meaning artists who only had one song reach the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100. The floor is currently open for whoever wants it."

Cori walked to the center of the room and looked at Addie before she started to sing.

This is the story of girl
Who cried a river and drowned the whole world
And while she looks so sad in photographs
I absolutely love her when she smiles

How many days in the year, she woke up with hope but only found tears
And I can be so insincere, making her promise never for real
As long as she stands there waiting, wearing the holes in the soles of her shoes
How many days disappear, you look the mirror but how do you choose

Your clothes never wear as well the next day
And your hair never falls in quite the same way
But you never seen to run out of things to say

This is the story of girl
Who cried a river and drowned the whole world
And while she looks so sad in photographs
I absolutely love her when she smiles

And your clothes never wear as well the next day
And your hair never falls in quite the same way
You never seem to run out of things to say

This is the story of girl
Who cried a river and drowned the whole world
And while she looks so sad in photographs
I absolutely love her
This is the story of a…girl
A pretty face she hid from the world
And while she looks so sad and lonely there
I absolutely love her when she smiles
When she smiles

Later in the day, Katie went to meant Natalie at lunch.

"So do you know what you wanna do tonight?" Natalie asked.

"I think maybe we should go to a movie." Katie suggested. There really isn't that much to do around here."

"You know maybe we could go somewhere and you could sing something to me." Natalie offered. "I would do it, but you don't want to hear me sing."

"Hey, your name's Katie, right?" Sebastian interrupted. She had no idea who he was but nodded. "I'm Sebastian Smythe, director of the Songbirds Glee Club. I was wondering if you might be interested in joining."

"I don't really know." Katie replied. "I don't really like to sing in public. I only sang at the dance because it was a favor to a family friend."

"Well maybe you could come and watch our rehearsal today." Sebastian offered. "You can come too, Natalie. Your brother told me that he was working on something."

The two of them decided to take him up on the offer and noticed that Justin was performing a mashup with Jacobi. She was singing first.

Make it stop, it sounds so good , I just can't take no more
Turn it down, turn it up, I don't know, I don't know
But don't stop, don't move just keep it there
Keep it right there, keep it right there

Wanna put you on repeat play you everywhere I go
Everywhere I go, everywhere I go
Wanna put you on repeat play you everywhere I go
Everywhere I go, everywhere I go

Shawty's like a melody in my head that I can't keep out
Na-na-na-na everyday it's like my iPod's stuck on replay (
Put this song on replay)
Shawty's like a melody in my head that I can't keep out
Na-na-na-na everyday it's like my iPod's stuck on replay (
Put this song on replay)

You're enough it all crashing down I'm so lost I'm so lost in your sound
Yeah when I put this song on replay on replay

Shawty's like a melody in my head that I can't keep out
Na-na-na-na everyday it's like my iPod's stuck on replay
(Put this song on replay)
Shawty's like a melody in my head that I can't out
Na-na-na-na everyday it's like my iPod's stuck on keep replay
(Put this song on replay)

The room clapped as they finished.

"So what do you think, Katie?" Sebastian asked.

"I still don't think that this is for me." Katie replied as she grabbed Natalie's hand and took her out of the room.

That night, they were on a date at a restaurant, dressed in their best.

"I still want you to sing to me." Natalie declared.

"Okay, fine." Katie agreed.

The sun goes down, the stars come out
And all that counts is here and now
My universe will never be the same
I'm glad you came

You cast a spell on me, spell on me
You hit me like the sky fell on me, fell on me
And I decided you look well on me, well on me
Let's go somewhere no one else can see, you and me

Turn the lights out now, now hand you another drink
Drink it if you can, can you spend a little time
Time is slipping away, away from us so stay
Stay with me I can make you glad you came

The sun goes down, the stars come out
And all that counts is here and now
My universe will never be the same
I'm glad you came I'm glad you came

Turn the lights out now, now hand you another drink
Drink it if you can, can you spend a little time
Time is slipping away, away from us so stay
Stay with me I can make you glad you came

The sun goes down, the stars come out
And all that counts is here and now
My universe will never be the same
I'm glad you came I'm glad you came

"I wasn't quite suspecting that song but you did do what I asked." Natalie replied. "But if that's what you want, all you had to do was ask. Do you want to go to your place?"

"Sure, I guess." Katie replied.

Katie's house wasn't that big. Her parents weren't going to be home for a little while, so they had some time.

"Have you ever done this before?" Natalie asked her.

"No, have you?" Katie replied.

"I got close, but never made it." The blonde explained.

They began to undress each other. Once they were down to their underwear, the door opened.

"Do you know where my…sorry." Jamie replied before she closed the door with a red face.

"Do you want to keep going?" Katie asked.

"Maybe you should lock the door?" Natalie suggested.

"Good idea." Katie agreed before she got up to close it.

Once they were done, they were lying on Katie's bed underneath the covers.

"So it's kind of weird that you're living with the girlfriend of my ex-girlfriend." Natalie stated.

"I guess it's just an interesting coincidence." Katie replied. "She's someone that's been through a lot in her life."

"Can you tell me what that is?" Natalie inquired.

"It's not really my secret to tell." Katie explained. "So are you glad you came?"

"You're so dirty." Natalie replied with a laugh.

The next day Abby was with Kayla as they tried to find out what songs they would sing.

"You know this is something that Gina and I used to do when we were younger." Kayla explained to her.

"You know the more you talk about her, the more it sounds like she abandoned you." Abby admitted. Kayla just looked at her. "I know it's a little hard to hear, but she did break your heart and run away. You have to be at least a little mad at her and maybe you can channel your feelings into a song."

"I've never thought of doing that before." Kayla admitted.

"It's okay to be mad at her." Abby explained. "Just let it out."

Kayla got up and nervously began to sing.

Now and then I think of when we were together
Like when you said that you were so happy you could die
I told myself that you were right for me, but felt so lonely in your company
But that was love and it's an ache I still remember

You can addicted to a certain kind of sadness
Like resignation to the end, always the end
So when we found out that we could not make sense, you said that we would still friends
But I'll admit that I was glad that it was over

But you didn't have to cut me off,
Make out like it never happened and that we were nothing
And I don't even need your love,
But you treat me a like a stranger and that feels so rough
No You didn't have to stoop so low
Have your friends collect your records and then change your number
I guess that I don't need that though
Now you're just somebody that I used to know
Now you're just somebody that I used to know
Now you're just somebody that I used to know

Now and then I think of all the times you screwed over
Part of me believing that it was always something that I'd done
But I don't wanna live that way, reading into every word you say
You said that you could let it go
And I wouldn't catch you hung up on somebody that used to know

But you didn't have to cut me off,
Make out like it never happened and that we were nothing
And I don't even need your love,
But you treat me a like a stranger and that feels so rough
No You didn't have to stoop so low
Have your friends collect your records and then change your number
I guess that I don't need that though
Now you're just somebody that I used to know

Somebody I used to know somebody now you're just somebody that I used to know
Somebody I used to know somebody now you're just somebody that I used to know

I used to know, that I used to know that I used to know somebody

"You know that wasn't really the kind of song that I was talking about." Abby replied. "It makes you sound more like the bad guy."

"I can't help but blame myself." Kayla said as she began to cry.

"Kayla, it's not your fault." Abby argued. "She's the one that chose to leave. You didn't force her away."

Later that afternoon, Aria was singing a song.

If you could only see the way she loves me then maybe you would understand
Why I feel this way about our love and what I must do
If you could only see how blue her eyes can be when she says
When she says she loves me

Well you got your reasons and you got your lies
And you got your manipulations, they cut me down to size
Saying you love but you don't
You give your love but you won't

Saying you love but you don't
You give your love but you won't
Saying you love where you stand
Give your heart when you can

If you could only see the way she loves me then maybe you would understand
Why I feel this way about or love and what I must do
If you could only see how blue her eyes can be when she says
When she says she loves me

After school and her self-imposed football practice, Katie went home. She heard the door opening and saw Jamie. She looked like she had been crying.

"Jamie, what's wrong?" She asked in concern.

"I need to move out." The curly-haired girl replied. "I came for my things."

"Who's making you do this?" Katie inquired.

"I haven't been crying because I'm sad." Jamie remarked. "I'm crying because I'm happy. I want to leave because I found someone else to stay with."

"Jamie, what's taking so wrong?" A woman said as she came to the door. "Who's this?"

"This is Katie." Jamie explained. "And this is my mom."

So Jamie's mom is back. Is that going to cause problems between her and Aria? Also Sebastian's first attempt to get Katie into the Glee club didn't really work so well. The songs are "Absolutely(Story of a Girl)" by Nine Days, a mashup of "Replay" by Zendaya Coleman with "Replay" by Iyaz, "Glad You Came" by The Wanted, "Somebody That I Used to Know" by Gotye and Kimbra and "If You Could Only See" by Tonic. Please don't forget to review.
