Hey, I apologize for taking so long to post the next chapter to this story. I did delete two stories and wrote two new Hetalia ones. If you're into Hetalia, check out Dark Crystal and Mirrors. Also, I purposely ended this chapter, knowing that there will be alot of questions. The ending will be explained in the next chapter. Review please!

Jaylin was panting, feeling the pressure from the two monsters. She couldn't be sure how long it would take before these two monsters milked her darkness up like a cow. She felt weak and sick. It was as if blood was draining from her and she could barely stand. Sweat was dripping from her face and she could sense the fear from the students behind her. It was of Kagemaru, but also herself.

In truth, Jaylin Yuki was as Kagemaru had stated, a monster. She did save and protect, but she also destroyed. She wasn't a saint of any kind. At any moment, she could turn evil, though not without reason. No one knew what happened to her last summer when she used that Orichalcose. More importantly, she regretted her actions. Professor Banner seemed to have been in the same shoes as she was. It was no wonder he felt sorry for her.

"It's alright, I'm here," Jaylin heard Professor Banner say inside her as she nodded in a trembling way.

"Oh god, she doesn't look so good," Chazz said, barely sitting up straight with eyes on Jaylin.

"Well, what are we supposed to do? What if what he said is true? Is Jaylin really the reason all of Domino City was taken last summer?" A scared and upset Sophomore asked.

"It doesn't matter," Zane replied, who was with Syrus, protecting him.

"What do you mean?" Syrus asked, looking up at his brother.

"We were not there when Jaylin was. I've hung around with her long enough to know that she never harms anyone without a reason. More than that, she has heart. She's willing to risk her life to protect all of us and that is good enough reason for me to count on her. From the moment she stepped on this island, she broke into the forbidden dorm to find out who was harming the students. She had been fighting against Nightshroud and all his puppets with our help to keep this school safe," Zane reminded Syrus and heard by everyone, who fearfully turned to Jaylin, who looked incredibly tired and weak. "I don't know about anyone else, but someone who is willing to risk her life to save us is someone I would let help. She has proven herself already. She's strong, has dark powers more powerful than all of us combined, can survive a shadow game and this girl, THAT GIRL up there risking her life for all of us is the daughter of Yugi Moto himself, the King of Games. This girl worked as a security guard at Kaiba Corp. How is she not qualified, if not more, to save our asses!?"

"She could also kill all of us," A Senior mentioned with crossed arms from behind Zane.

"She could, but she hasn't," Zane smirked weakly. His face became serious. "I'm sure when she's done, we can find out from Jaylin what had happened last summer. Until then, we need her now more than ever or we will all die."

Everyone gave each other glances, then weakly nodded. Alexis smiled at Zane before getting her cheer squad, then running over with them to the front of the group with as much strength as she could muster.

"Hey Jaylin!" Alexis cried out as Jaylin turned, showing her bright gold eyes. "We're right behind her! Go Jaylin Yuki, the Princess of Games!"

Jaylin's eyes widened as the cheer squad used their bodies to spell her name. Her dance team was cheering for her as well, including the entire student body and teachers. There were so many questions she wanted to ask, but she knew one thing was certain. This mass of students didn't mind of what kind of person she was, but is right here and right now. Right now, Jaylin was their only hope.

With a smirk up her lips, she shouted, "it's my turn!" She drew her next card. "I summon Elemental Hero Woodsman in defense mode!" The tree-like Elemental Hero was instantly summoned to the field in defense mode. "Then, Great Tornado attacks Hamon!"

Elemental Hero Great Tornado sent a gust of wind, which twirled incredibly fast, strong enough to lift up an elephant. Though, Kagemaru showed a smirk, which Jaylin did not like. Her eyes began furrowing.

"I activate my quick-play spell card, Ego Boost," Kagemaru declared as Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder's attack rose to 3000, making the tornado hardly touch it. The fiend roared, then used its beak to grab a hold of Elemental Hero Great Tornado, crushing it into dust. Jaylin cringed slightly, being left with 3100 life points remaining. "I must say, that's a very reckless move for someone that is supposedly has been taught by the greats like Yugi Moto, Seto Kaiba and Joey Wheeler."

"Shut up," Jaylin snapped, gasping for breath.

"You need to calm down, Miss Yuki," Professor Banner warned his student.

"I'm trying, but do you have any idea how hard it is to be calm while feeling like shit?"

Professor banner chuckled almost sarcastically, replying, "I do."

Jaylin was then reminded of Professor Banner's deadly disease. He had experienced pain all over his body, while having to be forced with a choice to work for the devil or die the most painful death imaginable. He chose the devil, until he found a reason to choose death. Jaylin couldn't let her professor's sacrifice be in vain.

"I throw down a face-down and end my turn," Jaylin replied, trying to keep herself up right.

Kagemaru drew his next card, then used the effect of Fallen Paradise to draw two more cards during his Main Phase 1 before declaring, "Hamon will attack your Woodsman and, since your Great Tornado is gone, his attack points are back to 4000."

"I activate my trap, Hero Barrier!" Jaylin declared as an invisible shield covered Elemental Hero Woodsman, protecting it from the attack.

"Then, Uria will attack your Woodsman," Kagemaru said as Uria, Lord of Searing Flames took a gulp of breath and blew out a blast of fire at Elemental Hero Woodsman's way.

"Then, I activate The Flute of Summoning Kuriboh!" Jaylin replied, activating her spell card.

"Wait, Winged Kuriboh can't stop an attack!" Alexis said as Jaylin turned to her direction, smirking.

"Who said I was special summoning Winged Kuriboh?"

Alexis blinked before Jaylin special summoned Kuriboh, who took the attack instead, before disappearing. Kagemaru glared with so much annoyance. He then hummed.

"Typical. I suppose I should have expected this from you. I end my turn," Kagemaru replied.

"I activate Woodsman's effect," Jaylin declared, searching through her deck and placing her Polymerization from her deck to her hand before drawing her next card. "Then, I play Polymerization to fuse Woodsman with Ocean and create Terra Firma!" Her ace monster was instantly summoned as Kagemaru snorted mockingly.

"You really think that thing stands any chance against a god?" Kagemaru smirked.

"That's not even a god!" Jaylin corrected before a deadly smirk appeared on her lips. "And, just you wait. My Terra Firma is going to rip your monsters to shreds."

"I'll humor you then. Show me what your Terra Firma's got."

"Not yet. I will summon Elemental Hero Lady Heat to the field in defense mode!" Jaylin declared as the brilliant yellow and orange Elemental Hero lady appeared on the field boldly in a defense position. "That ends my turn!" Elemental Hero Lady Heat's effect activated, fire surrounding her and Kagemaru at the same time before his life points dropped to 1700.

"Not impressed," Kagemaru responded, drawing his next card, then two more from the effect of Fallen Paradise. "My Uria attacks your Terra Firma!" Uria, Lord of Searing Flames took a deep breath before Jaylin smirked and activated her face-down card.

"Attack Negate!" Jaylin declared as Kagemaru grinned angrily.

"Very well then, since you want to wait for the inevitable, I will humor you and play Phantasmal Martyrs to discard The Creator and Divine Wrath to summon three Phantasmal Martyrs Tokens," Kagemaru declared as three fiend tokens in a purple cloak were all summoned. Uria, Lord of Searing Flames's attack points rose to 6000. "Then, I sacrifice all three of them to summon Raviel, Lord of Phantasms!" A great monster that looked almost identical to Obelisk the Tormentor was instantly summoned to the field, making Jaylin gasp and feeling so drained that she was falling on her hands and knees. The gold in her eyes began growing slightly dim. "I must say, I am impressed that you can stay awake and alive. If it were your father, he'd be on the floor right now. Though, who better to destroy a monster like you, than these three. Not by a duel, but by sucking every bit of darkness you have left."

"Stop this! You're hurting her! You're hurting the rest of our students too!" Fonda pleaded.

"Do you really think I care? Mr. Kaiba sure didn't or he would've solved your little Nightshroud problem by now! But no, he sends the very thing that took out half of America and all of Domino City to your school! He's known this girl, since she was little and yet cares more about her than the rest of you!" Kagemaru glared.

"That's... where you're wrong," Jaylin panted, slowly getting up in a wobbly manner. "He hired me to protect this school, to save all of Duel Academy from that thing! He trusts me, but not because I'm Mother Teresa or Florence Nightingale. It's because he knows me! He knows my good and bad side! He doesn't just see a monster behind these gold eyes like you or anyone else in Domino City does! He sees a teenage girl, who just happens to be given strong powers she can't control and tries to do good! Say all you want about my dirty laundry, but you were not there when I was stranded in the middle of the freakin' interstate in the middle of California's countryside, after my father's soul was taken! If you find that your reasons for doing evil justifies your actions, then how much more should mine!? I'm still a kid, who needs an adult with her! What adult do you need!?"

Kagemaru couldn't say anything. No one could. Jaylin still did wrong by what she did, but she was right about one important detail. Jaylin Yuki was still a kid that needed an elder with her, especially in the middle of an interstate where the nearest city could be hundreds of miles. A normal adult could just call someone or drive a car. Hitch hiking was a last resort, but an adult can be allowed to have a weapon on hand in America and, if with powers, could fight back without killing the human and have full control. Jaylin was still a kid with no control over her powers and hitch hiking was more dangerous for her than if she was an adult. She would risk being drugged and raped. How could anyone in that position be safe?

The more everyone thought about different possibilities of how it could've ended differently, the greater danger Jaylin would be in. Her excuse for why she did monstrous things was beginning to be a very good excuse compared to Kagemaru. If there was a reason for why Jaylin wasn't confined or trialed, it would be because she was truly a victim. How was a judge to pledge Jaylin guilty for being a victim in a hopeless situation?

Jaylin drew her next card, taking a deep breath. She then declared, "I will use Terra Firma's effect by having him absorb Lady Heat!" Elemental Hero Lady Heat morphed with Elemental Hero Terra Firma. "Now, I will use my H – Heated Heart on Terra Firma!" Elemental Hero Terra Firma's attack rose to 4300 and defense 3000. "Terra Firma, attack Hamon!"

Elemental Hero Terra Firma ran up to Hemon, Lord of Striking Thunder and punched it before it burst from the field. Kagemaru's life points dropped to 2400. Jaylin sighed in relief, since one Mythical Beast was destroyed and hopefully won't return. Though, she still felt stressed and weak from the two other monsters and dealing with three monsters sucking the life out of her for a while.

"I throw down a face-down and end my turn," Jaylin finished. Elemental Hero Terra Firma's attack points returned back to 2500.

The students all applauded for Jaylin's success as Kagemaru drew his next card. Due to the effect of Fallen Paradise, he drew two more cards from his deck to his hand.

"I will have Raviel attack your Terra Firma! I hope you're prepared, Miss Yuki," Kagemaru said as Raviel, Lord of Phantasms.

"I am! I play De-Fusion on Terra Firma!" Jaylin declared, revealing her face-down and Elemental Hero Terra Firma was now Elemental Hero Woodsman and Elemental Hero Ocean, both in defense mode.

"The effect of Raviel activates, I special summon two Phantasms Tokens," Kagemaru declared as two tokens were instantly summoned. "Uria attacks Woodsman!" Raviel, Lord of Phantasms punched Elemental Hero Woodsman, making it burst from the field. "Then, Uria destroys Ocean!" Uria, Lord of Searing Flames took a huge gulp of breath, then blast fire from its mouth at Ocean, destroying it. "It doesn't seem like you were prepared."

"Oh, I knew you would destroy my monsters," Jaylin replied, smirking. She was still sweating, eyes still seemingly dim. It was obvious she was under a lot of pressure and tired.

"Then, entertain me. I end my turn."

Jaylin drew her next card, then looked at it. She glared, "you're done! Consider that turn your last!"

"Oh?"

"Yes. First, I'm going to play Miracle Fusion and fuse Elemental Hero Lady Heat, Elemental Hero Woodsman and Elemental Hero Frost Blade to summon Elemental Hero Core!" Jaylin declared as all three Elemental Heroes fused together and came out as a monster very similar to Elemental Terra Firma, only with red stripes and round gems on its chest, forehead, shoulders and knees. "My Core attacks your Uria!"

"Are you serious!? Uria will obliterated your Core!"

"Think again, I play my quick-play, Battle Fusion! As soon as I declare an attack by my Fusion monster to your monster, it gains attack points equal to that of your monster's attack!" Jaylin smirked, showing her spell card.

"WHAT!?" Kagemaru glared with widened eyes.

"Holy shit!" Carl grinned excitedly.

Elemental Hero Core's attack points rose to 8700 before attacking Uria, Lord of Searing Flames. It burst from the field and Kagemaru was left with 0 life points remaining. The last Mythical Beast didn't disappear though as Jaylin's golden eyes glowed brightly. There was a bit of dimness to them, but it was obvious that they were glowing brightly.

"You lose and shall suffer a penalty game!" Jaylin glared.

"I did not expect to win. I only said I would rid you! These three Mythical Beasts don't follow the dark powers of the Shadow Games and shall be your end," Kagemaru smirked as Uria, Lord of Searing Flames and Raviel, Lord of Phantasms instantly reappeared and Jaylin fell back onto the ground, panting as her golden eyes dimmed once more.

"Please, stop this!" Dr. Crowler pleaded, more scared than he had ever been.

"I have done my part. I hope to see you in hell," Kagemaru smirked.

Just then, the three beasts were attacked by three different blasts. Everyone gasped, looking behind them as they witnessed the three Egyptian Gods.

"HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE!?" Dr. Crowler cried.

"Nice," Belowski smiled sleepishly.

"Ugh, Yugi, of course you would leave your job to protect this little bitch!" Kagemaru shouted at the Egyptian Gods.

"Actually, Yugi is still in America and I don't appreciate you trying to hurt or murder my students!" Seto Kaiba shouted from a megaphone, while inside the helicopter. "Also, you're fired!"

The Egyptian Gods and Mythical Beasts were battling in the air, while a figure began appearing beside Jaylin, whose eyes were closed. The figure looked like a woman in a black royal gown, who looked up, then smirked at Kagemaru.

"You made the mistake in summoning me," Jezerel said as Professor Banner appeared next to her. Her eyes glowed a brilliant gold and Kagemaru gasped, noticing what looked to be like a black hole under him. "PENTALTY GAME!" Kagemaru screamed as he was sucked inside the hole as the last of the Shadow Charms appeared where he previously was.

The students watched as this woman, who looked to be like a grown up Jaylin Yuki, was surrounded by floating Shadow Charms circling her. They all glowed a brilliant gold, while the Mythical Beasts began to glow and screeched painfully. Jezerel smirked a deadly smirk as the Mythical Beasts also were sucked into the black hole as well. The hole was sealed shut.

"Thank you for protecting my master," Jezerel thanked Professor Banner.

"I do not deserve that thanks, your majesty. I had betrayed this school and the family I took for granted," Professor Banner replied shamefully.

"Everyone is a monster in this world. Power can reveal the true nature of us all," Jezerel replied as Professor Banner humbly nodded. She turned to the other student body, who weren't sure to be afraid or grateful. She smirked a bit. "I'll be seeing all of you again soon." She disappeared along with Professor Banner.

Zane walked over to Jaylin and carried her over his shoulder to help her to a clinic. While happening, Seto had his helicopter land safely and followed Zane to the clinic. Fonda and everyone else helped those that passed out or were weak to get them to the clinic. No words were said, especially not from Jaylin at the moment.
