"Queen." Sebastian stated. "It's hard to find another band that is almost as universally loved as them. They have something for pretty much everyone, songs for every occasion. On top of that their singer, the late Freddie Mercury was one of the greatest singers of all time before his untimely death from AIDS."
"Not to interrupt, but are you only saying that because he was gay?" Cori asked him.
"No, and contrary to popular belief, Freddie Mercury was actually bisexual, having dated men and women during his lifetime." Sebastian explained. "I'm sure all of you have a favorite Queen song. Who wants to go first?"
"I'll go." Katie replied. "Now I need all of the guys to stomp their feet and all of the girls to clap."
Buddy you're a boy make a big noise
Playing in the street gonna be big man someday
You got mud on your face, you big disgrace
Kicking your can all over the place singing
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you
Buddy you're a young man hard man
Shouting in the street gonna take on the world someday
You got blood on your face you big disgrace
Waving your banner all over the place
We will we will rock you
Singing We will we will rock you
Buddy you're an old man poor man
Pleading with your eyes gonna make you some peace someday
You got mud on your face you big disgrace
Somebody better put your back into your place
We will we will rock you
Singing we will we will rock you
Everybody we will we will rock you
We will we will rock you
The song really lit up the room. Katie personally thought that they should be preparing for Nationals, but maybe the songs were their way of doing it. It was a lot of fun.
After school, Addie found Cori in the parking lot.
"You know that we have rehearsal." Addie stated. "Why are you leaving?"
"Because I got a call from my mom saying that Sara needed to go to the doctor." Cori responded.
"Can I come with?" Her girlfriend questioned.
"You know that you don't have to do that." Cori declared.
"You told me that you and Sara are a package deal." Addie reminded her. "Well I'm ready to sign for the delivery and accept my package because I love you."
The two of them went to meet Cori's mother at the doctor's office. Once they were there, the woman left. They sat in the waiting room while Sara cried in pain. She had a theory that they liked to let babies skip the line for the sanity of everyone else.
After getting some medicine, the two of them went back to Cori's house and took their blazers off. After a few minutes, they finally managed to get to Sara to fall asleep.
"You seem to be better at this than I am." Cori commented.
"It comes from having to help raise my little sisters." Addie stated. "It's too bad that we had to miss rehearsal."
"Well just because we're not in the choir room doesn't mean that we can't sing." Cori stated. "But let's do it in another room."
The two walked out into the living room and Addie began to sing.
Empty spaces, what are we living for
Abandoned places, I guess we know the score
On and on does anybody what we are living for
Another hero, another mindless crime
Behind the curtain and the pantomime
Hold the line, does anyone wanna take it anymore
The show must go on, The show must go on
Inside my heart is breaking
My makeup may be flaking
But my smile still stays on
My soul is faded like the wings of butterflies
Fairy tales of yesterday, we're broke better never die
I could fly my friends
The show must go on, the show must go on
I face it with a grin, I'm never giving in
On with the show
Ooh I cop the bill, I love the kill
I have to find the will to carry on
The show must go on
As soon as she finished, the two of them began to kiss. They got on the couch, where they proceeded to make out. Cori was on the bottom as her hand moved to start to unbutton Addie's blouse.
"Ahem." A voice grunted. The two of them looked to see that Cori's dad was there. Addie immediately got off of her.
"Daddy, it's nice to see you." Cori stated. He had short blonde hair and stood suave with a tough like he was secret agent.
"I think it's time for Adalynn to go home." He declared. Addie blushed and got her coat before she headed out the door.
That night, Aria met up with Jamie at her apartment that she shared with her mom. It was small compared to what she had been living in.
"So this place is nice." Aria commented.
"You don't have to lie. I know it's small." Jamie replied.
"No, I like it." Aria argued. "It's homey."
"So what kind of songs are you singing this week?" Jamie inquired.
"I probably shouldn't tell you that kind of stuff." Aria told her.
"Come on. I just want to know what you're doing this week. You probably won't be singing those kinds of songs at Nationals. I'll tell you that we're doing Hair Metal this week." Jamie stated.
"We're doing Queen songs." Aria replied. "I don't know what song I wanted to sing."
"Well I realized that we've never actually sung anything together." Jamie declared. "I think it would only be fitting if we sang a duet."
"What are song are we going to sing?" Aria asked. Jamie began just smiled and grabbed her hand.
This thing called love I just can't handle this thing
Called love I must get round to it I aint ready
Crazy little thing called love
Jamie spun her around before Aria began to sing.
This thing (This thing) called love (called love) it cries (like a baby) in a cradle
It swings, it jives, it shakes all over like a jellyfish I kinda like it
Crazy little thing called love
There goes my baby
She knows how to rock and roll she drives me crazy
She gives me hot cold fever then she leaves me in a cool, cool sweat
I gotta be cool, relax, get hip get on my track,
Take a backseat, hitchhike and take a long ride on my motorbike until I'm ready
Crazy little thing called love
I gotta be cool, relax, get hip get on my track,
Take a backseat, hitchhike and take a long ride on my motorbike until I'm ready
Crazy little thing called love
This thing called love, I just can't handle this thing
Called love I must get round to it I aint ready
Crazy little thing called love
Crazy little thing called love
Crazy little thing called love
Crazy little thing called love
The two of them laughed as they finished and fell onto the couch. It was easy to tell that they'd had a lot of fun doing it.
"You know love is a crazy thing." Jamie replied. "It's hard to imagine that in two weeks, we're going to competing with each other."
"Well we can't let the competition get the best of us." Aria pointed out. "So do you think it might be possible for you to come to Dalton next year?"
"I don't know if I can afford it." Jamie replied. "It would be easier for you just to come to McKinley."
"But I don't want to go to public school." Aria pointed out. "I've never been to public school and I don't want to start now."
"Even if means being with me?" Jamie asked.
"You can probably get a scholarship." Aria explained. "You have a single mother and you're a minority student because you're transgendered. Hell, they'd probably give you a scholarship just for that."
"I don't want special treatment because of what I am." Jamie argued.
"Will you please just think about it?" Aria requested.
"Aria, I get why you want me to do this, but being and McKinley and more importantly New Directions helped me come to grips with what I am and love myself. I don't want to leave that because I love it there."
"Okay, when you say it like that, you make me feel selfish for asking you to leave." Aria declared. "I just wanted for us to be able to see us more often."
"Just because we can't see each other at school doesn't mean that we can't be together." Jamie pointed out. "Besides, it's not we're going to different colleges or anything. Our schools aren't that far away from each other."
"I'm not going to tell you any of our secrets for Nationals." Aria declared with a smile.
"Well I'm not going to tell you anything either." Jamie teased.
The next day in the choir room, Emerson began to sing. Everyone thought that he was the most-prepared to sing a Queen song because he was the most flamboyant of all the Glee club and his dancing to the song did nothing to quell that notion.

At the end of the week, everyone gathered to do the big Queen number. It was the one that everyone knew. Milla was leading off.
Is this the real life is this just fantasy
Caught in a landslide no escape from reality
Open your eyes look up to skies and see
I'm just a poor boy I need no sympathy
Kayla then took over.
Because I'm easy come, easy go, little high, little low
Any way the wind blows doesn't really matter to me, to me
Mustafa took over next.
Mama, just killed a man, put a gun against his head
Pulled my trigger, now he's dead
Mama, life had just begun but now I've gone and thrown it all away
Jacobi continued from there.
Mama, didn't mean to make you cry
If I'm not back again this time tomorrow carry on, carry on as nothing really matters
Chace then began to sing.
Too late, my time has come
Send shivers down my spine, body's aching all the time
Goodbye everybody I've got to go
Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth
Jasmine then came in.
Mama, ooh, any way the wind blows, I don't wanna die
Sometimes wish I'd never been born at all
Emerson then began his part,
I see a little silhouette-o of a man
Scaramouche, Scaramouche will you do the Fandango
Thunderbolt of lightning, very, very frightening me
Galileo, (Galileo) Galileo, (Galileo) Galileo Figaro magnifico
Cori then took the mike with Addie singing responses.
I'm just a poor boy nobody loves me
He's just a poor boy from a poor family
Spare him his life from this monstrosity
Easy come, easy go will you let me go
Bismillah No we will not let you go Let him go
Bismillah No we will not let you go Let him go
Bismillah No we will not let you go Let me go
We will not let you go Let me go
Will not let you go Let me go
No, no, no, no, no, no
Abby came in at that point.
Oh Mamma Mia, Mamma Mia Mamma Mia let me go
Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me, for me, for me
Justin entered from there.
So you think you can stone me and spit in my eye
So you think you can love me and leave me to die
Oh baby, can't do this to me baby
Just gotta get out, just gotta get right out of here
Aria then sang the final part.
Nothing really matters anyone can see
Nothing really matters, nothing really matters to me
Any way the wind blows
Sebastian clapped his hands.
"I think that you're ready." He told them.
So Aria and Jamie finally sang a duet together and Cori and Addie got caught again. Her dad is played by Daniel Craig. The songs are "We Will Rock You" from News of the World, "The Show Must Go On" from Innuendo, "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" from The Game, "Killer Queen" from Sheer Heart Attack, and "Bohemian Rhapsody" from A Night At the Opera. Please don't forget to review.
