A/N: you know what's funny about this chapter XD I had begun writing it right after the last update! And I though i was going to be able to update it on the day and everything XD Oh well, at least I had half a chapter already written for me!

Anyways!

I have been making the most irritating mistake, I keep writing "Where" for "Were". I'm incredibly anal about my wheres and weres you see, so when I reread my last chapter to see all those mistakes... well you could just imagine my fury lol

Alas, I am too lazy to go back and correct the mistakes though XD So I apologize for the previous and possible future mistakes.

Now enjoy!

"Wait what do you mean contact the man in the moon?" Jack said, clearly confused, "We already know that he doesn't answer us when we shout up at him," he added dejectedly.

North just laughed at Jack, "As if Man in Moon can hear you from thousand miles! He up on Moon, If he could hear you then he would be able to hear everybody" he chuckled and looked down cheekily at Jack, "all the people on Earth chatting in his ears, would be annoying. No, all you need to do is call." the jolly man finished, his rosy cheeks pronounced from his bearded smile.

"Woah, woah, woah, hold your horses, mate," Bunnymund interjected, "You mean you found it?" he added cryptically.

Immediately, Jack was suspicious, "Found what?" he asked, Keira was curious too, well she actually had been curious from the very beginning as this did pertain directly toward her. But Jack was just ignored as Tooth yelped in realization.

"You mean you found it?" She squealed excitedly.

Now Jack was really getting exasperated, and was huffing out in annoyance, "What did you find?" he nearly shouted.

But the rest of the guardians kept ignoring him, chatting amiably with each other, "After all this time," Bunnymund smirked, crossing his arms. While Sandy began making images that moved too fast to be read properly.

"I can't believe you found it I thought it was lost forever!"

"I know, I know, I was just as surprised when Phil gave it to me as well,"

"Would you all just tell me what the hell you are talking about?!"

"Oh for crying out loud, would yah just tell him already?"

"But we can't tell him, he'll be so upset!"

"Tooth, Jack is Guardian now, I wouldn't have brought it up if I wasn't going to tell him."

And so, North turned and yelled into the hall way for Phil to bring 'the thing' they found, obviously, loving his surprises.

The Elves then sprung into action and began playing their instruments, a red carpet was splayed out in front of Jack, and a row of Yetis came out with large torches, lining the red carpet as though standing in attention. When Phil the Yeti finally came out, he was carrying a white 1915 candlestick phone, on a red plush pillow.

"Okay?" Jack said eying the telephone, "So what am I going to do with a phone?" he asked as the Yeti ceremoniously handed him the phone.

Sandman was the one to answer, as he showed a golden image of the phone sending out air waves to the moon.

Jack just stared at the small golden man, and all was quiet for several long minutes. If there were a clock somewhere, Keira could have sworn the ticks would be heard as loud conks in the still air.

"Jack?" Tooth called out cautiously, "The Phone can-"

"I know what it does," Jack interrupted, which was extremely rude and so completely unlike Jack that for the first time the rest of the Guardians were struck dumb. Jack never snapped at Tooth. Ever.

Jack turned to the phone is his hands and gripped it tightly. This was the one thing he had wanted for so long. A way to communicate to the Man in the Moon, and here it was. An object that the guardians withheld from him. They knew who Jack was, they knew he was trying to communicate with the moon every night. It was something that Jack became known for among the spirits, the little ice spirit that made messes during the day and yelled questions never answered at night.

"You kept this from me," Jack whispered, and Keira had never heard a whisper so sweet yet so painful.

"Jack, no," Tooth interjected, "well I mean- yes- but we didn't mean to hurt you," she pleaded, stuttering.

"Yeah, well you did," he snarled at her, Keira was shocked at hearing such a cruel tone from Jack, but she could understand how he felt. He was invisible for so long without any answers. Hoping that maybe the moon could explain, Keira could only hope that perhaps the moon could answer her questions as well.

"Jack, mate," Bunny hopped towards him, "Look, we lost that phone ages before you were even born," he explained. "When yah became a guardian, well," he rubbed the back of his neck uncertainly, "we just figured it would be pointless to tell yah," he finished lamely.

Bunnymund's explanation did explain a lot to Jack, and he could at least rest easy that it would have done him no use when he was first born seeing as it was lost. but...

"You still didn't tell me about it..." Jack whispered, not wanting to let go of this matter.

After a few minutes of silence, Jack huffed and finally picked up the transmitter end of the phone a put it towards his ear. The phone did not have a plug, or a rotary dial, and there were no buttons to turn on the old phone. After listening through the receiver for a few seconds, he heard a click and static followed after.

"H-hello?" Jack called into the phone, a few seconds past, no answer. Jack called out into the phone for five minutes, before Bunnymund snatched the phone away from Jack to give it a try.

The phone was past around to all of the guardians, each one frantically trying to see why nobody was answering. Even Sandy had a look at the phone.

A few days past, and after a few more calls to the moon, there was no answer. It was rather anti-climactic to Keira. Let alone more than a little disappointing. But, before Keira knew it, it was time for her to go home. Jack was worried about her going back, and in truth her going back was almost a test, mostly to see if Keira would be remembered. Keira was excited to get back home to prove the Guardians theories wrong, she wasn't just that easily forgotten! She was just well... easily forgotten... it wasn't permanent or anything! She was just another face in the crowed was all, and people seemed to remembered after jogging their memory.

Although she would never say it out loud, Keira felt that this whole forgetting thing was really getting to her. There were even times, during her week at Santoff Claussen, while she relearned to walk that she thought her hands were becoming semi-transparent. But when she stared at her hand she would notice that it was perfectly visible. She rationalized that it was just her eyes playing tricks on her, just like when a person thinks they see something in their peripheral vision, only to find nothing there.

When it was finally time to leave, even though she was going to miss Santoff Claussen, she was secretly thankful she was going home.

"Are you sure that you wanna go home already?" said a nervous Tooth, fluttering around Keira anxiously.

Keira snorted, "I think it's time I got home," she said with a smile, "not that I didn't enjoy your guys' company! I had a blast here! I never even thought I would be able to see Santa's workshop," she added gleaming at North.

"Jack," North called out, "remember you stay with Keira, and report back if something, eh, not right," North summed up in his thick accent.

"Don't worry," Jack gave a toothy smile, "It'll be fine." Jack was still a little angry at the guardians for keeping the phone away from him, but seeing as the big guy didn't seem to be answering, he felt that it was pointless to hold a grudge against them over something that didn't even seem to work anymore.

Jack took Keira's hand, giving her a reassuring smile before shaking one of North's globes and throwing it out in the middle of the shop.

"Keira's House," he said before stepping through swirling portal.

Keira felt her feet swept out from under her, and a strange tugging feeling coming from her head, almost as though there was a large hand tugging her by the top of her head. She felt as though her body no longer existed, the only thing she could still feel was Jack's cool hand in hers.

When Keira's feet landed onto the pathway in front of her house, she noticed that the t.v in the living room was still on. Keira let out a breath she hadn't even realized she was holding.

After squeezing Jack's hand, she walked up to the front door, and opened it.
