A/N: Okay, guys, I do enjoy your reviews, but please be polite. And if you're gonna be sarcastic then at least be cute about it. Such things as saying "Lazy much" are not appreciated... actually... nevermind! By all means say whatever the heck you want! The bigger the number of reviews the better for me XP That's what I gotta say about that! Either way, It would make me feel better if you had something nice to say to me. I do read the reviews on my stories. Thank you all for reading!

Keira took a deep breath. This was all so stupid, of course her Aunt would remember her. Keira turned to Jack and smiled at him, he had a worried expression that was absolutely adorable. After calming her nerves and giving Jack's cold hand a squeeze, she let go of it and opened the front door.

As Keira walked into her home, the wave of familiar cigarette smoke hit her instantly. Jack scowled as the smoke hit him, then he gave a loud sneeze. Keira was lightly startled at first, forgetting that he aunt probably couldn't see or hear Jack anyways.

"Jack!," she harshly whispered, Jack just laughed at her startled expression.

"Hey relax, she can't see me remember?" he chuckled at her, and then gestured towards the dark living room where Keira could see the flashing of the Television.

Keira walked into the room hesitantly "Aunt Steph?" she called out. There was a loud coughing and then no reply, and at first Keira thought that perhaps her Aunt just didn't hear her. Her Aunt was in her normal armchair positioned right in front of the t.v.

"Aunt Steph?" Keira called out again, the T.v. began shouting as a commercial came on for Jack in the Box. Still no reply.

Keira really began panicking now, she stepped right between her Aunt and the T.v. blocking her aunt's view. But her Aunt kept staring on at the blank screen, coughing before she picked up her soda can next to her packs of cigarettes.

"Steph!" Keira shouted out, "Are you ignoring me?!" She waved her hand in front of her Aunt's face, and to her horror her Aunt didn't even acknowledge it.
She just kept staring at the T.v, the glare reflecting in her red eyes, not even a shadow of Keira reflecting in her black irises.

A sob hiccuped from Keira's throat, echoing into the room. Jack flew over to her and grabbed her by her shoulders, steering her away from the living room and into the kitchen.

Keira sat down at the messy kitchen table. After what felt like hours, Keira's eyes were puffy and stung whenever she blinked.

"This isn't over," Keira said, Jack whipped his head up to look at her, "My Aunt forgot about me years ago. I just never noticed it."

"I'm sorry,"

"Don't be. Jack, I know that you understand how I feel, but I'm still alive. I know that there are people who can still see me," she looked up at Jack, and for the first time since he met her he saw her eyes set into determination. She wasn't going to back down without a fight.

"So what are we gonna do now?" Jack asked her, looking strangely timid with a puppy-dog look on his face.

Without saying a word, Keira jumped up from her seat and ran towards the staircase, skipping every other step, she ran headlong into her room. There was a split second when she opened that door, that perhaps her room had been replaced. Anything could have happened in the week that she was away. Instead, she found that her room was perfectly normal, just exactly the way she left it, her bed was still unmade from when Jack had tried to resuscitate her from the winter sprite's attack.

Keira let out a breath she hadn't realized she was holding, at least her room wasn't removed. She at least had something that belonged to her on Earth, she still exists.

Keira dashed over to her drawers and grabbed the cell phone her parents had given her for family calls and such. She opened up the old flip phone and pressed down the call button turning on the device. Jack slowly walked into the room watching Keira, it seemed like she had an objective and Jack didn't want to disrupt her train of thought, so he just sat down on her bed and waited patiently.

Keira punched her thumb down on the keypad putting in her parent's number. She put the phone up to her ear and waited patiently as she heard the phone ringing on the other end.

There was a click and then a, "Hello?" it was a cheery voice that Keira recognized immediately.

"Mom!?" she shouted into the receiver. There was a long pause on the other end before her mother replied, "I'm sorry, you must have the wrong number, this is the Banks Traveling Company."

Before Keira could say anything, she heard the phone click as the call ended.

"Oh my god," was all Keira could think of to say, this all made sense. The reason she was shipped off to her Aunt's house, why she stopped receiving gifts and letters, why the calls stopped. Her parent's forgot about her, they forgot they had a child.

"They forgot about me," she said looking over at Jack, the phone was still held up to her ear the dial tone whirring. Jack gave a said sigh and walked over to Keira, prying the phone from her hand he closed it and put it back on the dresser.

"Keir, look at me," Jack said grabbing her arms. Keira's eyes flicked over to Jack's, her mouth slightly agape.

"I know what you're going through," Jack began, squeezing her arms reassuringly, "but you can't stop now, you have to move forward! We have to fix this mess okay? Something is happening that neither you nor the guardians and myself understand."

Keira nodded numbly, of course Jack was right. She didn't have time to mourn over what was happening to her, she needed to step up for herself.

"So," Jack said releasing her, "what should we do now?"

Keira didn't really know what to do, this was all so confusing and nothing really made sense. There was only one person who popped up in her head, "We gotta go find Jamie," she stated as though it weren't the least thing Jack thought he would hear from her.

"Jaime?" he said, his nose crinkling in confusion.

"Yes," Keira confirmed moving towards her backpack, she took out her school supplies, dumping them on her bed, "He was the last person I know that I can recall seeing me," she explained.

"I don't think that is a good idea," Jack said folding his arms, "I mean what if he can't see you either? What if he also forgot?" he said bluntly.

"Then I'll haunt him until he remembers me," Keira said stuffing randoms things into her backpack. She grabbed a flashlight, a pad of paper and pen.

"Keir, this isn't a good idea!" Jack implored, following her as she went to her closet to grab a jacket, "Jaimie even forgot about me, how do you think he's going to remember you?" he finished bluntly.

Keira just shrugged, "because he has a crush on me," Jack froze in his tracks.

"He what?"

"It's not that big of a deal," Keira shrugged again, zipping up her backpack and marching down the stairs with her head held high. Jack grumbled, "I didn't even know he liked anybody," as he followed Keira out her front door.

Keira closed her front door for the last time, and took a deep breath. Without looking back she marched down the front steps before being swept up in Jack's arms again.

"You really need to stop that," Keira said after shrieking in surprise, Jack just smirked at her and flew onward to Jamie's house.

It didn't take long to get to Jamie's house at all. What would have been a thirty minute walk was shortened into a two minute trip thanks to Jack. Jack dropped Keira down on the sidewalk next to Jamie's backyard. He then slipped a board in Jamie's fence over to reveal a space the Keira could just barely slip through.

Now in Jamie's backyard, she had a sudden sense of panic, she hadn't really thought her plan through all the way and had no idea what to do next.

"Come on," Jack whispered, lifting her up onto the roof next to Jamie's window. This was going to be really hard to explain to Jamie, Keira realized as she slipped through Jamie's open window. The sun was setting and the room was covered in shadow.

Taking a deep breath, Keira looked around Jamie's room, there was no sign of him. Sighing she dropped herself onto Jamie's bed.

At that very moment, Jamie's door opened to reveal the devil himself, he was carrying a paper plate of cookies and hadn't noticed her at first. When he finally did he let out a yell, dropping the plate on the floor.

"Shh!" Keira ran over to Jamie putting a hand over his mouth, "be quiet! I don't want to get arrested for burglary, now do I? Jamie nodded and Keira let go of his mouth.

"Jesus!" he huffed out, "Keira! W-what are you doing in my room?" he stuttered, looking around at his messy room. Keira heard Jack chuckle nearby the window. "I mean not that it's a bad thing!" Jamie continued, "It's not like I haven't imagined you just popping up in my room before, although I kind of reacted a little differently, and you were kind of wearing something... else," Jamie ended awkwardly earning a light growl from Jack.

Keira waved him off, "I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that," she said, "Look I have some explaining to do."

"Of course you do," Jamie said picking up the plate of cookies and checking if the cookies had fallen to the floor. Stuffing a safe one in his mouth he garbled, "Oo haff 'een miffin' ffoh a veek!"

"What?"

Jamie swallowed his half chewed cookie, "I said that you have been missing for a week," Jamie said putting his plate on his messy desk, Keira noticed that Jamie had been playing World of Warcraft on his computer. "I mean the first day you were gone I just thought you were sick or something, but then a few days passed and nobody even mentioned you, I figured something was up." he shrugged.

"uuhh yeah, about that..." Keira started rubbing the back of her head.

"Don't rub a whole in the back of your neck," Jamie said with a smirk.

"What?"

"Nothing, just thought I could be funny."

"Oh."

Jamie gave Keira a look of worry, "Keira, are you gonna tell me what's going on? I mean when nobody put any missing posters or anything I got worried," he ended sitting down on his bed.

Keira huffed, and slumped next to Jamie's bed, "I have no idea what to tell you, everything is just so crazy."

"Well you could just tell him that people are forgetting you," Jamie said, sitting down on the opposite of the bed, "if he doesn't believe you then we could try to remind him about me," he shrugged.

"Ugh, that''s easier said than done."

"What?" Jamie asked.

"Nothing, nothing," Keira said waving her comment away, "Look you're totally going to think I'm crazy," Keira began.

"Okaayyy?" Jamie said, eying Keira suspiciously.

"I have no idea where to start... Look, I didn't just disappear, well I mean I kinda did, but I mean, ugh, people are forgetting about me okay? It started last week when our manager didn't even recognize me, so and he kicked me out, and I was walking home when this... person... attacked me, but then my friend saved me and took me home... but I was ice co- i mean hurt, and he couldn't help me so he took me to... his friend's house... um... so that I could be better looked at I guess, and it took me a week to heal, and then when I came back my Aunt didn't even see me, and so I called my parents but they don't even remember me, and so Jack asked me what to do, and the only thing that came to my mind was you because you were the last person who recognized me. So Jack and I came over to your house and then... yeah, here I am."

Jamie stared at Keira for a few seconds, blinking rapidly at her rant.

"Well that was one hell of a way to explain, Keir," Jack chuckled beside her.

"Oh shut up," Keira swore at Jack.

"I wasn't saying anything," Jamie said staring at Keira blankly.

"Ugh, no I wasn't talking to you," Keira said lamely, "You're making me look crazy," she added glaring at Jack.

"I'm not trying to make you look crazy," Jamie replied.

"Arg," Keira cried out exasperated.

"You might as well just tell him," Jack said, "I'll back you up.

"Ugh," Keira groaned, "look," she turned to Jamie, "remember, the other day, when I brought up Jack Frost?"

"The snowman guy?"

"Uhh, yeah, well he's real." Keira said cringing for Jamie's reaction.

Jamie stared at Keira for a few more seconds, "Yup, I think you're crazy," he said.

"No, Listen to me!" Keira said, waving her arms out at Jamie, "You knew Jack Frost, you met him when you were a kid, and you believed in him until recently," Keira tried to explain, but Jamie just stared at her blankly again.

"Yeah, you're crazy," Jamie repeated.

"I'm not crazy and I'm not lying! He's here in this room!"

"Yeah? Then prove it," Jamie crossed his arms, "I don't want you to make me believe something stupid for a prank."

"ugh, fine," Keira turned over to Jack, "You're turn Jack, at least try to get him to believe, I don't wanna be sent to the loony hospital over this."

Jack chuckled at Keira, getting up he bowed, "whatever you say, Princess," he smirked, "Let's make it snow," he said stretching and cracking his knuckles.

"Okay," Keira turned to Jamie who's blank expression was replaced with one of extreme worry and doubt, "Here, Jack will make you believe again. He'll make it snow," she finished crossing her arms smugly.

"He's gonna make it snow..." Jamie said processing what Keira just said. But before he could say anything else, he noticed something on his window. It was now dark outside, as he approached his window, he saw that what was swirling on it was frost.

"Okay, that's kind of... odd... I mean it's not that unusual, It's only spring and it's not like it hasn't snowed before," Jamie mumbled to himself.

Jack chuckled at Jamie's attempt at rationalizing, his hand was on the window pain, and he lifted his staff up and touched the frost on the window. He then flung his staff towards Jamie's room, the frost that had collected lifted off the window to follow Jack's staff.

Jamie watched as the frost floated in the middle of his room, it then began to swirl and condense it's self into a snowball. Jamie didn't know what to think, but he was pretty sure that his mouth was agape.

The snow ball then shot up towards the ceiling and exploded into little flurries, which drifted around Jamie's room.

"What in the..." Jamie started looking around the room. He turned to Keira, "It's snowing in my room," he said as if it was just a simple fact and not the oddest thing he ever said.

"Yeah, it is," Keira confirmed smiling at Jamie.

"It's snowing in my room. It's snowing in my room!" Jack yelled, grabbing at his hair. He watched as the flurries continued to powder his room in light snow.
Jamie then let out a bubbling laugh, "Jack Frost made my room snow!" then his expression suddenly went very serious, "Jack Frost... Jack!" he spun around, before his eyes finally rested on the Guardian of winter and fun.

Jack let out a breath and smiled, "Hey, Jamie."

"Ohmygod!" Jamie said running over to Jack, "Jack I forgot! I stopped believing! I'm so sorry!" he practically yelled, looking like a little kid who was going to get punished.

Jack chuckled at Jamie, "Don't worry about it, Jamie, you believe now and that's all that matters.

Jamie smiled at Jack before spinning around to face Keira, "So wait, what was all that stuff about people forgetting you?" he asked.

Keira looked down at her shirt, picking at the fraying hem, "yeah, we don't really know much of what's going on, but it looks almost like people are forgetting about me, some of them hear me but don't recognize me, sometimes they can't see me at all... almost as though I'm not there," she finished with a shrug.

"It sounds more like people aren't believing in you anymore," Jamie added simply.

"Wait, what?" Jack asked, stepping forward, "what do you mean by people don't believe?"

Jamie looked at Jack with a large grin, "Oh you know, Jack! Like how some people believe in you, and some people don't!" he explained.

"That makes sense," Keira perked up, "See?" she turned to Jack, "I knew that coming to Jamie was the best thing to do!"

Jack crossed his arms and huffed out in irritation, "Whatever," he said blowing it off, "I think we should go to North's, we gotta tell the guardians what's going on," he said pulling out a snow globe from his jacket pocket.

"You mean I actually get to go to Santa's workshop?!" Jamie said excitedly, acting just like he would when he was ten. Keira giggled at him, "I guess I really am special since I've been to the North Pole before Jamie has," she laughed putting her hands on her hips.

"Jack!" Jamie whined, "You took her to the North Pole before me?"

Jack just laughed, "it was an emergency, bud!" he apologized before shaking the globe in his hands.

The next thing the trio saw was the red carpet and large globe of North's workshop.
