At the Lair…. Again

When we get to the lair, I land carefully and lift Raph from my back, carefully putting him on the couch. "You're going to be fine, Raph. I can definitely promise you that." I rest my tail around him, closing my eyes and concentrating.

"Faith," Raph says when I finish my work, "what happened on the roof? I just remember a shot entering my arm before I blacked out."

I turn into a human again and sit by his side, leaning against him. "I'll explain everything later."

Raph's arm wraps around me, pulling me closer to him. "We have alone time, now. Do you want to pick up where we left off?" When I nod, he leans closer to me and kisses my nose, copying my earlier motions.

"You missed this time," I say, crashing my lips onto his while my hands wrap around his neck and his arms wrap around me.

Raph's kiss fills with more passion with every passing moment, making me blush more. "You always make me happy, Faith. You always have and always will."

My good hearing picks up a distress call from the rooftop Tiger Claw was with the turtles. "Something's up. I told Donnie I wouldn't leave your side when we came here and I can't go back on my word." I get really tense and get a bad feeling.

"You can go," Raph says, looking into my eyes.

"I can't. I promised Donnie." Suddenly, a call for help reaches my ears, making me stand quickly and look toward the entrance. "I have to stay here." Once again, I sit beside him, my mind cluttering with questions and concerns.

"Go to them, honey."

"I can't leave you, though! I promised I wouldn't!" Tears start entering my eyes but I wipe them away but some stroll down my cheeks.

Raph wipes them away, holding me in his lap. "We'll go together, OK?"

"As long as you don't get hurt again," I answer, burying my face in his chest.

"I won't." Raph's arms wrap around me and he kisses my head. "I promise you that."

Looking to him with tears in my eyes and my eyes red from crying, I kiss his cheek and stand, turning into a winged wolf. "Hop on. I'll fly us to the others."

Raph gets on my back and grips part of my fur to hold on. "Go as fast as the wind."

I run as fast as lighting out to the rooftop, skidding to a stop as I see Mikey, Leo, and Donnie really wounded.
