A/N: Written for the Freeverse Frenzie Competition, poem 37. Also for table 10 on prompt central, prompt #003: Lunatic. The characters in this are Shigure (main) and Akito (minor). And why is Akito here for the third time? Oh well…at least she's not in the fourth.

3. Lunatic

Laughter was a curse

But he didn't she why
he should be denied.

It was a fun-house
that crumbled to dust
in his hands, and then was
built again

Because it was a game
in the end.
Who cracks first.

And if he wants
his happiness, the winner
must be him.
