Pokѐmon Journey II: Gwyn's Passage
Chapter 17: Welcome to the Takeover
Gwyn's Point of View:
Suicune, Raikou and Entei had us over to the city of Goldenrod within only an hour compared to the two or so it would have taken by foot. Once we got to the outskirts of the city, from the north, Suicune had us get off its body, the same with the boys, and they promised to create a distraction so we could sneak into the city. They rushed off with us unable to follow them with our eyes due to their incredible speed.
"So what do you want us to do Violet?" I myself looked up at the woman as well as the stares of four males that were with us at the time, which happened to be the dead of night in the middle of a freezing winter.
"We have to split up, not all of us can hit the radio tower at once with lots of people in the city that need our help. I need to be at the radio tower because Rose is there and I'm one of the only people powerful enough to take her on and take her down, but I can take a few others with me so long as we have someone in the city helping the people here." She looked around at all of us. "So who wants what job?"
It was silent as everyone looked around, no one wanted to say anything. It was a most obvious fact that everyone wanted to go to the radio tower and take out Team Rocket, no one really wanted to stay behind and deal with the city, all of us wanted a huge piece of the action.
"If I may?" The silence was broken by Alex, who looked at all of us while five sets of eyes were glued to look at him. "Gwyn, for starters, should stick with you Vi, she has that shiny gyarados now and along with all her other pokemon, it'd be dangerous to let her go alone, so she should most definitely go with you Vi."
"Plus, to make things better for them," Vince added on, "those three should stick together. It'd be easier on them and they could watch each others backs in battle. Just like us when we were their age."
Alex walked over and kissed the forehead and then the lips of his girlfriend. "Don't worry about us Violet, Vince and I will take the city and save all the people inside, we'll evacuate them and any pokemon we come across. That'll give you the entire city of Goldenrod to use as a battlefield should Rose be there and get violent like the battle three years ago."
"Maybe if I'm lucky I'll give her another life-long scar." The woman hissed out before she sighed and hugged her boyfriend. "Thank you Alex, I promise we'll meet up with you once this is all over and we'll go on a date, just the two of us for an entire day."
"Just a day?" He teased her chuckled as he kissed her cheek again.
Violet grinned as she allowed more neck to kiss her by moving hair out of the way. Chalcedony moved to the other shoulder so his face wouldn't be near Alex's. "Maybe a bit longer…"
"Alright you two love pidgeys, break it up!" Vince yanked Alex away from Violet and ran down into the alleyways with him. "Good luck to you guys!"
They were then out of sight and Violet sighed at the moment when her boyfriend was gone. "Man I've missed out on a lot…"
"Like moments with your boyfriend?" I questioned her.
"That and more that I'll tell you about when you get older Gwyn." She grinned before she turned her gaze to that of the black tower off in the distance on the water edge of town. "Let's go!"

Passing through many of the alleyways that were in Goldenrod, we were able to avoid most of the grunts that were being attracted and taken out by the three legendary beasts and Vince and Alex. Violet kept us close and made sure the areas were passable for the three of us before she would decide to take it or not. She had a worried look on her face as she kept gazing at the tower every moment we got a chance to rest. I knew she was thinking about Rose, what would happen if we all encountered her at once. She didn't want us getting hurt.
There was only a single guard at the front when we got to where the radio tower was. He seemed to be at full attention as he watched the surrounding area for anyone or anything that could hurt their operation.
Violet turned back to us. "We need to find some way to knock him out and then get into the building without being noticed at first. My pokemon and I are out since we're all dead giveaways, and most of Gwyn's are too. Any ideas?"
"Yeah, I do." Aaron grinned. "Sudowoodo would love to play with the guy."
"Play with him?" Tristan questioned him, extremely worried looking of the answer.
"Why do I have a bad feeling about this?" I sighed.
"Oh don't worry! Leave it to me!"
Third Person Point of View:
The nervous rock pokemon, that looked more like a tree then a rock, stood next to his trainer as they looked out to the single man that stood guard at the entrance to the black radio tower they needed to get inside of. The pokemon, named Sudowoodo, looked up at his trainer and begged him one more time that he didn't really want to do this with so much water near by.
"Awe, don't worry Sudowoodo, you'll be fine! Just don't get close to the water and you have nothing to worry about. Now, you remember the plan right?"
"Sudo…"
"I still don't exactly like this plan." Tristan huffed behind them all from the dark corners of the alleyway that they hid inside of.
"I don't exactly like it either, but we need to get inside, and taking out the grunt, that could alert everyone that we're here would be a pain, would be an extreme asset to ourselves." Violet sighed. "In other words, we don't have a choice."
"You hear that Sudowoodo?" Aaron gave the pokemon a cheeky grin. "They really need us this time around!"
"No, its just we're so far out of ideas that we have to resort to one of yours." Tristan snorted before turning his head.
Aaron sadly looked over at his best friend who stood between the other humans and was keeping her head down with her normal type on her shoulders, keeping watch for her. "Gwyn! They're talking mean to me! You're not going to let them do that, are you?"
Gwyn shook her head and crossed her arms as she leaned against the wall of a building while she stood between Tristan and Violet. "I'm not getting involved in this."
"Meanie." Aaron scowled at his best friend and childhood crush. He then turned back to his nervous pokemon. "Don't worry Sudowoodo, they do believe in us, they're just too mean to say it. Now get out there and get that guard's attention and bring him back over here!"
With a light shove the poor rock pokemon was thrown out into the open streets of the city in plain view of the Rocket, but he'd yet to turn that way. Sudowoodo made a nervous turn and looked back at his trainer who only grinned and gave him a wordless "go for it".
The pokemon turned back to his assigned task of getting the group inside the Rocket's taken over radio tower of Goldenrod City and booked it toward where the single Rocket was. The Rocket finally took notice of the pokemon and radioed it in apparently with whoever was at the security system. A few words were passed before he left his communication device on the stand next to him and began to make his way over to the pokemon.
Sudowoodo had made it to the water's edge, and the pokemon sighed in relief as he didn't fall into the water and was protected from falling over by the railing. The Rocket though was closing in on him and the pokemon demanded the attention of the Rocket grunt by dancing around and shaking his hands. "Sudowoodo! Sudowoodo!"
"Well, well, what do we have here?" The Rocket held out his hand and motioned for Aaron's pokemon to come toward him. "Come on, come here."
"Sudowoodo!" The rock pokemon jumped out of his reach and took off in the other direction and the Rocket chased after him. The pokemon would jump out of his reach and dance around while the Rocket member tried to get a hold of it.
"What the hell? How's this thing is so hard?" The Rocket member clutched a bruised arm where he'd tried to grab the pokemon and was re-directed off entirely. "Is this thing… not a grass type?"
"Sudowoodo!" The pokemon this time grabbed the man and dragged him back toward the alleyway where the trainers were waiting. The pokemon punched the Rocket in the gut and he flew back and out of sight of the tower, but no one was coming out, no Rocket members knew that trouble was heading their way.
"Not a bad job Sudowoodo," Violet commented as she watched the grunt fall to the ground and was out for the count. "I guess my faith in you and your teammates has gone up a bit."
"What about me?" Aaron huffed as he crossed his arms. "Sudowoodo's my pokemon!"
"Yes, that is true, and you get a few points, but the pokemon did this task on his own, so he gets more points than you." Aaron growled and his pokemon grinned.
"Sudowoodo!"
"Let's go you guys; the path way is open now." Violet led the three kids away as shouts and blasting could be heard from the distance and the other members of Violet's group who offered to stay behind.
Gwyn's Point of View:
Violet led us in the front door of the radio tower and we immediately saw there were a million guards stationed around on the first floor around the front desk, a group of workers/hostages and the stairs that led to the next level. The four of us quickly snuck in the first floor and hid behind the front desk before Violet saw an open door off to the side that looked like storage. She herded us toward the room, having us going one at a time to avoid detection, and closed the door once we were inside.
I reached for the light switch that was behind me and we were instantly blinded by light, as well as uniforms for Team Rocket members. Once Violet saw this, I saw her dangerously wide and mad grin.
"I am not dressing up as one of the men that work under Rose." Tristan hissed out at Violet.
Violet's grin vanished and she kissed his forehead. "I know how upsetting it is for you, especially just being in the mist of their operation. I won't ask you to do it Tristan, but be warned, it would be easier to move around then without it." Tristan still refused to be cooperative. Violet sighed. "Oh well, don't worry about it, just sneak behind us and do your best not to be seen, we'll do our best to cover for you."
"What if someone makes a distraction down in the lobby?" Aaron asked. "I mean that it'd pull away more Rockets from questioning you guys and give my pokemon a work out while you guys look up stuff and what not. I don't mind doing it while you guys sneak around, and if Tristan gets caught, he can make a riot too, and that could take out a whole bunch of them while they never knew you were in the building, or Gwyn."
"Not a bad idea Aaron, good job, I think you earned yourself another point or two." Aaron grinned at the champion's praise. "But let's see how many more you can rank up with how many Rockets you take down, and if you see Rose, promise me you'll run."
"Why Violet?" Tristan questioned. "Are we not strong enough to face her yet?"
"I'm not sure yet, but the main reason why I want you to do that is because she will kill you on sight." Violet grabbed a uniform from the rack and threw it at me before she got one for herself. "She tends to send her gengar after people or being a changeling of its power and kill herself. She's murdered massive numbers of people in the past and it wouldn't surprise me that she's done it many more times since I last heard of her killings, or if she has prisoners."
"How long do they tend to keep their prisoners?" I asked her.
She raised an eye brow at me but shrugged as she found matching hats to go with our uniforms. "Turn around and stand guard at the door boys, I'm going to change." The boys did so and Violet turned back to look at me. "And as for your question Gwyn, it all depends on how long they need those people for. Some I've heard had been trapped for years and forced to even become members to avoid foreclosure, losses of a family or from just fear in general. Though Team Rocket does tend to keep some prisoners for a very long time if they really need some information from them and can't pry it from them by normal means."
I slipped out of my own clothing and started to put on the uniform. "And what kind of people would they tend to keep?"
She cracked the side of her neck and fingers. "Those that knew about their organization, plans, and any information that they may need, so basically a lot of people."
"Violet…" I just finished my uniform and grabbed the hat, pulling up all my hair into a bun before putting it into the hat. "Do you know if they had any operations near New Bark Town?"
She put her own hair up and hid it away. "Why the sudden twenty questions?"
"Be… because… I don't know why… but… I think of my father when you mention Team Rocket and prisoners." I looked away from her and I felt the tears slip away.
She blinked over at me before I felt her fingers wiping away as many of the tears as she could catch. "It is possible that Rose captured him if he saw something that he shouldn't have and took him prisoner and kept him alive just to watch the suffering she inflicted on others and watch him wither in pain. She's the type of person to do that. She likes watching pain and suffering." She whipped her body around to face the boys who were still looking away from us. "It's good to turn around now boys."
Both of them turned and I watched as both their faces went sour when they saw the uniforms. I knew they both didn't like it, especially Tristan and his ties to these people, but we'd just have to live with it, for now.
"I'll talk to you later about what I know and I'll record all Team Rocket files they have on hand to see if there's anything about your father Gwyn, I promise. But for now, we have a job to do. Shall we?"
The three of us nodded and Violet and I slipped out onto the main floor of the tower, I could see many of the workers huddled up, waiting for rescue that was going to soon come from Aaron. Tristan used objects and what not to hide himself as he slowly followed behind Violet and I as we headed up the stairs. It was after we'd made it out of sight that I could just barely hear the voice of Aaron shouting out and gaining the attention of most of the evil members down there.
On the second floor I could see more booths and areas with filming equipment where we could watch radio and show hosts being held captive that had intent ear on the action downstairs. Most of the grunts flew by us, heading down and toward the action and Aaron. Violet had us push past them all and, with Tristan still following after us; we made it up the next set of stairs to the third floor.
Even on that floor, with many computers that set up the whole backbone of the tower, it was still mad chaos where members were filling downstairs to battle Aaron and get him out of the tower and find out where the rest of our group were. People were still forced to use the computers and some different types of software I could see hooked up here and there. It had to be things from Team Rocket.
Violet had seen it too a made a move toward one of the monitors when more grunts then began to approach us. Tristan then, to help Violet and I avoid any interaction as of yet, jumped out for where he was in the shadows of things and called out his pokemon. Everyone was so startled that the third floor then turned into a panic and Violet and I used that time to hurry up the stairs to the next floor, which we assumed to be an office of sorts.
And it was when we got up in there, it was a small, closed off office with a good view of everything in the city. At the desk I could see Proton, the sex driven admin of Team Rocket who tried to rape Kala and then tried to kill me, and probably rape me if he had the chance. He was calmly sitting at his chair when we came up to his floor. Violet and I both stood at attention as his eyes finally caught onto us and they glowed, especially when he looked at Violet's body in the tight uniform.
"Ah, I do love the uniforms that the boss lady had issued to the girls here." He rose from his seat and made his way over to us. He leered over her and took notice to check all her features. "Wouldn't you agree?"
"I would if you'd look at my eyes rather then my chest and ass sir." Violet easily said through her teeth as Proton then grinned up at her, coming so very close to her face. "Neither of them could or would talk to you."
"Oh, a feisty one!" he took her hand and pulled it towards him, pulling her effectively too into his chest. "I like a girl that's got some extra spice and fight in her."
Violet swatted him away and backed up before standing still again. "We came up here sir to inform you of the situation downstairs. On floors one and three we seem to have a breech and Aaron Verin and Tristan Agustino have both somehow gotten inside and are wreaking everything."
"What?" For once the guy actually looked worried and took off past Violet shouting things about how "boss lady was going to kill him". Once he was out of sight, Violet rushed over to his computer and quickly got to work with a flash drive she had to copy things over while she searched the files. She typed madly at the keys and I was almost surprised to see her typing as fast as she was.
"Is there anything of interest on there Violet?" I asked her.
"Not too much… wait, here's a file about this mission they're carrying out right now." I saw her speed read the information before her eyes widened. "Giovanni! I know where he is!" She quickly shot up from the chair and looked down at me. "Gwyn, I've got a new assignment for you. I want you to collect the boys and head out of here to the underground city under Goldenrod and head into its deepest parts, the director of the radio tower is being held down there and could help you when he's free to take back this tower and all those that are inside that haven't made it out yet. While you guys handle that, I'll be heading out to the mountains where Rose is planning to meet Giovanni at his hiding place and take him down for good. You think you can handle an operation like this without me?"
"Of course Violet." I nodded to her as she gathered all the information from the computer in that flash drive before she removed the small device and stuffed it down her shirt.
"Good, I'm heading out now, get the boys and regroup, and loose the uniform right now, the boys will follow you if they see you're out of it." She quickly whipped off her uniform that she's borrowed and pulled on her normal clothes she had in her bag and I did the same with mine.
Once we were ready, she threw open the window and lept out it. I hurried to the edge and watched her changeling form appear as she then flew away with the wings of her fire pokemon extending out of her back. I watched her body fade off in the distance before I turned on my heel and hurried off that floor.
Down back on the third floor where I'd left Tristan, I saw him come into view with his pokemon and easily facing off and holding off Proton as they battled. Cynder let herself out of her pokeball and blew a thick fire at Proton and his pokemon, which he barely managed to avoid and the tips of his hair was burned. He growled at me, but could do nothing as his pokemon, a wheezing, was knocked out.
"Let's go Tristan! We got what we needed!" The boy nodded and trailed after me, smiling a bit more now that he saw I was out of that horrible uniform. And trust me when I say I didn't like it either.
Tristan and I hurried down the stairs where I saw Rocket members were trampled over from where hostages were trying to get out of the tower. The entire second floor was covered with them, along with a few others that were pushed and knocked out against the walls.
Our pokemon were hot on our heels as we hurried down to the first floor where Aaron was apparently having a blast dealing with most of the members there with Meganium. His eyes lifted though and he caught the sight of me and Tristan and he somehow manage to figure out that we were leaving.
"Yahoo!" He threw off the guard that was right next to him and Meganium followed closely behind as we all ran out of the building. "Later assholes!"
Once we were outside of the building, we returned out pokemon to move faster, now that we were in an open area, and we rushed off to the alleyways and what not where we would be hidden and out of sight.
"So what's the plan now Gwyn?" Aaron panted as he asked me and we continued to run, even though we were quite far away from the tower and well out of sight of its unauthorized members.
"I'll tell you on the way, but first, we have to get out of sight entirely and head to the underground of Goldenrod. Either of you know where that is?"
"Ee!" Sunrise jumped off my shoulder and it forced us to stop. "Ee eevee ee!"
"You do Sunrise?" I smacked my forehead. "Duh! You lived here before you became part of my team. I'm such and idiot!" I shook my head and let it slide. "Whatever, I can deal with my stupidness later; lead the way Sunrise, we got a lot of work to do. Violet left a large task on our shoulders."
Third Person Point of View:
Back at the radio tower that the three young teens had just escaped from, unharmed and with information to boot, the Rocket grunts and the admin that was involved were recovering from that disaster of a battle. Proton seemed to be taking the worst damage, not to his body, for only a small burn on the tips of his hair could be noticed, but it was his pride that had really stung. He was an idiot for letting those two girls walk all over him and when he found out it was actually Violet Vilmos and Gwyn Jalen he was talking to, he was pissed, but nowhere near as furious as the boss lady when she got word of this.
Proton hissed as he paced in his office he was occupying at the moment from the director of the radio tower they'd stored away. He was waiting for the punishment from his boss that had yet to be decided. He was terrified of the boss lady; she was the only thing that really frightened him because she could make his life hell in a second or take away the one thing that meant the most to him in all his life, his wonderful manhood. With it he was able to make women, and even some men that he found attractive, suffer and turn their lives into a burning, ripping hell where he'd tear them in two with raping them.
His sex drive and the appeal of those girls had gotten in his way to notice who they were; in fact, anyone could have figured it out it was those two girls that were sneaking into the base with Rocket uniforms on. It'd happened once before to the boss lady, but never since again.
Until now…
Proton wasn't about to lose his pride and joy just because he failed to stop them. He wasn't about to wait for what she said and would cut off his dick and save his life to suffer in eternity. In fact, he'd rather die whole and happy where he could have as much sex as he wanted in heaven, so long as he got to keep what made him… himself.
Proton glanced out the window, he saw how high up he was, he knew that a fall from this height would kill him. But at the moment, he didn't care so long as he didn't have to lose a part of himself to her.
He thrust open the window, and the last thing that anyone saw was a darkly dressed man before he hit the pavement of the ground and his body was crushed from the gravity.
But at least he was whole.
HalloweenWitchHalloweenWitch
Rose watched the scene from above where Proton had just taken his life and she merely snorted at the now dead man.
"What a pity… so devoted to his dick that he killed himself rather than getting it removed…"
She turned around and walked back to her desk where she had two files open and four others closed. The ones that were closed were that of Vincenet Vilmos, Alexander Oak, Aaron Verin and her own son that had abandoned her, Tristan Agustino. Of the two open files, anyone could have guessed that they were on the two girls that Rose had put at the top of her list to kill when she got the chance: Violet Vilmos and Gwyn Jalen.
Both of them obtained pokemon she wanted, rare pokemon and shiny pokemon that she just could never get her hands on. Now that Gwyn had thwarted her plan to get the shiny gyarados that she now had in her position, Rose was going to make that girl pay. This girl had stopped some of her operations and was getting in her way just as much as Violet had when the blasted girl was of that same age as the blue haired one is now.
Rose howled in rage and her fist hit the desk she sat at. A figure flinched that stood on the other side of the room, waiting for her orders for anything. He was the current second in command of Team Rocket, a man by the name of Archer. He was related to Proton in that they were cousins and had to watch the horrible display of his cousin's suicide, but he had to stay strong and loyal, not fail his boss and obey the commands she gave. His shortly cut electric blue hair was almost the exactly shade as Proton's, but he was missing the slightly green touch. His eyes were a bright yellow, just like that of his cousin's. His uniform was much more white the black with him being a second in command. He wore a white jacket with a black shirt under it with the Rocket logo on the right breast plate and white pants and a set of black shoes. A trusty houndoom stood at his feet and watched the mad woman storming about.
"Archer!" The man stood at attention as the woman shouted out his name. "Where's the grunt that let them inside the tower?"
"Here milady." He motioned to the door and in slowly walked the grunt that had been knocked out by Violet and her group of friends. The grunt stopped before her and got down onto his knees.
"I'm so sorry Boss Lady; I guarantee this won't happen again! Just give me one last chance!"
"Your right, it won't happen again." He sighed and lowered his head in relief. "But that doesn't mean you get another chance." The grunt's eyes went wide and before he knew it, a knife was thrust from under his chin and into his head. The grunt didn't even have a second to breathe his last breath before he died on the spot in a thick pool of blood that spread all over the floor.
Two deaths in one day, Rose was quite enjoying the bloodshed.
"Now listen here Archer, and let this be known to all of my other minions." Archer looked at his boss with no emotion in his eyes, during the best to keep himself from hurling at the sight of this, even if he had seen it happen millions of times. "Tell all our members that if they don't want to die, they better kill Violet Vilmos and Gwyn Jalen on sight! And all their little friends too! Bring me their shiny pokemon! Bring me those brats' heads!" She reached down and pulled the knife from the now dead body and threw it around in the air with the blood flying and hitting their faces. "Kill them all! And don't rest until every one of them is buried in a bloody grave!"
Gwyn's Point of View:
Sunrise had quickly led us into the underground section of the city which had been on lockdown and many people had hid inside of since the attack and takeover of Team Rocket. Sunrise led us down to a lower corridor in the back that was past all the vendors and shady characters and people who were trying to stay quiet and hidden. A solid dark blue door met us at the end of the hallway before Sunrise leaped back up onto m shoulder and settled there, this was as far as she could take us.
"Let's go." The boys nodded and Tristan released his feraligatr from its pokeball and the pokemon crushed its head against the door that said "do not enter". The door quickly fell and we were quickly led down into a long hallway that I saw Team Rocket members were guarding. I watched as all of them looked over at us and I quickly sprinted toward them, Cynder releasing herself and I waited for her to run past me before she lit up her mane, where I sat at, and breathed fired at all of them. They all cried out as the flames hit them and I grinned.
"Charge!" Cynder took off with me riding on her shoulders and the boys coming quickly after me on their own beginning pokemon: Feraligatr and Meganium. I watched as water and leaves flew over my head and hit some of the members that were before me that got shoved back. Cynder then blew more fire at them and the three attacks would combine at times to make an explosive attack.
At the end of the hallway, when all the members were out cold, there was a black door that seemed to be locked by code. I motioned for the boys to come over and the two of them looked at the door before Tristan looked at his starter pokemon. The water type nodded and rushed forward with its skull he door crashed in and we hurried inside the room.
"No! Please go away! Save yourselves!" I blinked as we took a look at the older man with strange faded blue hair that was in a black suit.
"The director of the radio tower?" Aaron questioned as we walked inside. "What's going on?"
"No! Get out! Before-!"
"Before what my dear director?" A chilling female voice caught our attention and we turned to the only lit thing in the dark room, a TV that had the face of a woman with long red hair, a white rocket uniform and a long scar on her face.
Rose.
"So I see you've made it thus far, congratulations I believe are in order, but… I'm not one for those kinds of things." She sighed and plopped her head into her hand. "I thought you'd like to know that I've lost two of my members today, all due to your own actions."
"The only reason they lost their lives Rose was because they dared to work for you!" Tristan snarled at his birth mother that he'd disowned. Rose simply shrugged and glanced, her eyes on me.
"Ah… Gwyn Jalen I presume?" She gave a light evil grin. "Do you happen to know who died today?"
I looked back at her sadly, knowing fully well who it could have been. "The grunt at the front and Proton. You killed them because they failed you."
"Well… I killed the grunt, but I wasn't about kill Proton, he was an executive after all." She reached off to the side and grabbed a cigarette and lit it, taking a deep breath before puffing out the smoke in our faces on her side of the camera. "Proton took his own life because he loved his dick too much to take my punishment of getting it chopped off. It doesn't bother me quite so much since I have many other members, but I know that death bothers you Gwyn Jalen, I know how it makes you twitch and frozen in its grasp of just hearing the word." Her words were slippery and smooth, just like an ekans tongue. "I know how it bothers you and makes you think of your father-"
"Don't you dare speak about my father!" I quickly snapped at the woman and she raised an eyebrow at me from across the screen. "You know nothing and I don't want to hear a word about him from your slimy mouth!"
"Well then, I guess you don't want to talk to him, do you?" I felt every inch of my body halt with those words that came out of her mouth. She grinned eagerly as she waited for another word, and got none. "Much better, a few moments of talking to him after two years may actually prove useful on making you behave and stop harming my organization." Her screen switched off for a moment before I watched a new screen come up. It was in a dungeon or sorts, brown and dirty with a man that had dark blue hair curled in a ball in the middle of it.
"Daddy?" My hand gently rose before my body and set itself on the screen. The man's head groggily rose and looked over at the screen I was looking through. His light blue eyes went wide before he rushed up the cage bars and I saw the camera moving back from it.
"Gwyn! Sweetie, what are you doing there?" He rattled the bars and tried to get free. "Get out of there! Get away from Rose! Don't let her bribe you! Fight!"
It was then the movie was cut off before he could say another word. Two long years, two very long years of being without my dad and finally get to see him, if only for a moment, and all I get to hear from him is a warning.
"Yes, well, I don't need either of you two getting any bright ideas, so let me cut to the chase here. I want you out of the picture, so if you want to see your father again, you'll do exactly as I say-"
She was cut off when Tristan broke the screen with his fist and all communication was cut. The boys moved around destroying everything while I stood there with Cynder, unable to do a thing while off in my own mind.
Fight! My father's last word to me. Fight!
"Gwyn, we'll get him back, I promise you."
Fight!
"Gwyn, I know that was hard to see about your dad, but are you okay? Hello?"
Fight!
"Fight…" my breathing became labored as the word started to settle into my system. "Fight."
"No Gwyn!" A hand shot out before me and tired to stop me. "Violet said we needed to avoid a fight with her."
Fight!
"No! Fight!" I ripped myself away and ran back down the hallway. Cynder obediently followed behind and prepared for the worst. She threw me up onto her shoulders and hurried off.
Fight!
"Gwyn!"
Fight!
"Gwyn! Come back!"
Fight!
"Miss Jalen! Don't do this! Please!"
Fight!
Cynder tore out of the underground and howled in rage, rage that I felt racing through my heart as everything got hotter and she blasted away the roof before she jumped out and took off toward the tower.
I promise Dad, I will fight!
Witch's Note:
Man, this might not have been a long chapter, but this was still one I had trouble with in the beginning! I'm glad to have another chapter finally out of the way and now we'll get onto the next one, and two, no, three exciting things will take place next chapter, all centered around Gwyn's team! I bet you guys can't wait to see that!
Oh, and we'll see Rose too, for those of you who love this crazy woman as our major antagonist, I admit, I do too, and she seemed to have gotten even more aggressive and murderous as time flows by… Wow, she has changed… since she first tried to steal Amethyst a long time ago…
Now to chapter eighteen! Gwyn and Rose meet face to face for the first time, and oh boy! We all know that's not going to be pretty…
Love you all and I'll see you next week! Remember to Review and send in Questions!
