Considering I started a whole new story I thought I'd better update this old one... I still want to continue with this story just haven't felt all that inspired to do so. I can't even remember the last time I updated this! A LOOOOONNNNGGG time ago I can say that! Anyway, I hope anyone who's following this story (which isn't much...) enjoys this update... I know there's no Daryl in it, but hey! At least it's something!

"Apple."

"Apple?" Tsugumi scrunched her nose, but complied, tossing an apple juice box to Rowan. "I prefer the grape." Abruptly she broke the silver encasement with the straw, slurping out a bit of the juice. "Why do you even have juice boxes?"

"Segai." Rowan provided as if that were answer enough. He copied Tsugumi's motions and soon the two were peacefully sipping their individual juice boxes. Tsugumi leaned back into her chair before her desk. She had always been good with technology, that's why she had been in charge of such aspects in her previous job.

She just never thought she'd be typing in notes about the metal health of insane asylum patients.

Their peace was interrupted abruptly by the doors sliding open with a swish and Segai storming in like a raging storm. He was sputtering out nonsense, and she desperately wanted to avoid his notice. She had shown up for three consecutive days, but still was unsure about her new boss. She half wanted to pull up a new tab and begin logging information about his mental state.

Mismatched eyes turned suddenly to her and dread filled her stomach.

"Miss secretary." Files were plopped down upon her already large enough pile of unfinished work. She bit back a groan. "We're low staffed, as I'm sure you can see. Government hardly allowed for a secretary, I practically had to beg." He was not paying much attention to her, but was typing away at his phone. His phone bill must be extravagant. "I'm putting you in charge of distributing medicine."

"What?"

A loose sheaf of paper was presented before her eyes. She snatched at it, scanning it quickly before turning her confused expression back to Segai.

"Don't worry, you're pay will be raised in accordance to your work!"

"Aye." Tsugumi barely managed to get out before with a wave of his phone Segai left, doors sliding shut and Rowan and Tsugumi were left in the wake of the hurricane.

"Don't worry," Rowan sunk back to his chair, a stack of papers held in his arms. "Segai just likes stirring up trouble; he'll lose interest in you soon… hopefully."

"You don't worry about me." Tsugumi whirled around in her swivel chair and winked at the exhausted man. "I'm strong!"

He offered a weak smile. Tsugumi cast her eyes over the paper she had been presented with its list of names, medications, room numbers and times. A name instantly caught her attention and her determination suddenly withered. An audible groan escaped her lips.

"Yan?" She sighed, flopping back in the chair. "I have to take care of Yan?"

"Daryl?" Rowan asked, hefting the papers up to his desk. "Have you had problems with Daryl?"

"Uhh…" Tsugumi suddenly hesitate, uncertain just how to properly put her interactions with the boy. "I… let's just say I don't think he likes me too much."

"He doesn't like anyone too much."

"What's his problem?" Tsugumi muttered, casting the paper forward and watched it float lazily down onto her desk.

"Not sure," Rowan replied. "That's why he's here."

"He's very strange… paranoia and mysophobia, that's what I've gathered."

Rowan gave a little chuckle and nodded in agreement. "Egotistical I'd add."

"Definitely!" Tsugumi agreed. "That arrogant attitude, you'd think he's a prince!"

"Superiority complex."

"Gosh, you've got a boat load of complaints against this guy…" That raised a larger smile from Rowan and he turned his head to look back at her.

"He's been here for a while; I've had to put up with quite a lot." He paused, turning back to his screen. "But he's not that bad of a kid… once you see through all the protections."

"Well, he better get over these 'protections' of his." Tsugumi said with sudden determination. "He's going to have to deal with me now."

Only one more thing to say: TAKE ME BACK TO BELGIUM!
