Listening carefully, she could hear someone struggling to take something apart. She could also hear the faint ripping of fabric and a panicked whine. "Aaaaaaaa! Oh nonono shes going to kill me..." Demyx tried his hardest to whisper as quietly as he could, though he was scared out of his mind. He was just trying to take one silk ribbon... but he couldn't seem to get one untied.
Larxene's eyes widened, lowering into a crouch. She made a run for the entrance to her workspace, planning to sneak in from there. What could Demyx want now? Her eyes narrowed, praying for his sake that he'd keep his voice down. She gave a short laugh in disbelief, making sure to keep her voice low. First her pillows, now he was after her silk? "Ooh, you little shit." She arched an eyebrow, circling around the room to the hidden door in the wall. "I don't particularly remember telling you that you could, you know, root around through my shit whenever you wanted to." The girl stated, sarcasm thick in her tone. "Where are you going with those?" She asked, somewhat defensively. She did actually want to know what he was doing, at this point, but she hoped he wouldn't try to flee into the other room. She pressed her finger and thumb to the bridge of her nose, getting increasingly tired. She couldn't very well sleep in here anymore, which may raise questions in the morning as well.
Demyx squeaks and scrambles backwards into a bench, gripping tightly to the scrap of fabric he accidentally ripped off. He couldn't scooch backward anymore, so he just sat there shaking. "I-I... Larxene I thought you were asleep... I just... I just needed a strip of silk.. I didn't mean to rip it I swear! I-I….I-I... ,andIwantedtomakesomeonehappysoIthoughtasoftthingwoulddoit!" Demyx became increasingly afraid of her, and as such, his speech was becoming quicker and quicker.
Larxene sighed, taking a half-step toward him, keeping her fingertips on the door. She slowly placed her free hand on her forehead, letting her eyes fall closed for a moment before opening them and speaking again. "I….. don't…what?" She held a hand up before he could respond. "Nevermind, I don't care. Go to bed, Demyx. That's what you need to do." She turned away for a moment before adding another comment. "Do not touch anything in here. I really don't know how many times I have to tell you this, but if I catch you trying to pull somethin' again, I might have to sell your scales, kid." She shook her head, making her way towards him to shoo him out of the room. Really, Larxene knew he didn't mean any harm, but she couldn't be bothered with any of it right now. She crossed over into her makeshift bedroom, making sure to close her door as quietly as she could. The girl closed her eyes as she turned around, bracing herself as if something were to jump out at her. She half expected to find Aqua sitting upright in the bed, spewing out questions and the like. A form of fear took hold of her in these few seconds, though. Her eyes stayed clamped shut, listening for any signs of movement.
Demyx did as he was told and ran faster than he ever had before back to his tent. Aqua on the other hand, was fast asleep, and was doing so peacefully for the first time in weeks, despite being in such a strange place. She lay there curled up on her side, the blankets were still neatly tucked in around her, as if she had barely moved. It was completely silent now, save for her small breaths.
Larxene sighed in relief, pressing her back to the door. She sank to the ground slowly, unsure of the time outside. There really wasn't a safe way to sleep in her silks for however long she could sleep for at this point, so for now, she just reacquainted herself with the floor. This time though, she used her forearm as a headrest, curling to her side, instead of a face plant into the mix of gravel, cement and dirt. The girl hoped that if anyone had to wake her, it'd be Xigbar, just for the sake of knowing. Within minutes, she was fast asleep.
