Larxene opened her eyes lazily, still curled up on the ground. A kink was beginning to form in her neck. She swore under her breath and sat up, rubbing the back of her neck sleepily. Why did she sleep on the ground? She has a bed right there to sleep in. Her eyes shot open. Aqua. She turned to the bed, only to find Xigbar perched in the center. "What….?" Larxene stood slowly. "Where'd she go?" she asked, glancing around the room. Her fingers brushed over the pendant around her neck. She felt slightly ill. "What uh….what do you have there?"
Xigbar took one last look at the letter in his hand before tossing it to Larxene. "This .. Er... Aqua girl left already. She was in a big hurry too. Looked terrified... Pale as a ghost. But she stayed long enough to write ya a little love letter." He smirked for a moment before laughing and saying, "Ya weren't kiddin' though... The similarity really is striking."
Larxene's cheeks reddened a little. "Wh-what did you just? Shut…Shut up, Xig." She snatched the paper from his hands, avoiding eye contact entirely. "She really does…..look like her though, doesn't she?" She asked with a nod, her eyes scanning quickly over the paper in front of her. She wasn't really buying the whole 'I'm just a klutz' thing but she really didn't what to think about what else it could be. "She…..She said she's coming back…" The girl sat on the end of the bed, staring blankly ahead of herself for a few seconds. A strange 'beep' rang out in the room, causing her to jump up. What in the world? "Shit…Xigbar, uh…" She held Aqua's phone in one hand, holding it out for him to see.
Xigbar smirks devilishly at Larxene's obvious embarrassment. "Aw look at that. It must be destiny." He chuckles and gets up and makes his way towards the door to her room. "Well... She's coming back right? You could give it back then... Or pay her an unexpected visit. Give it to her then under her window, maybe throw in a song, or maybe a bunch of roses. I mean, I'm no matchmaker but this seems meant to be." As soon as he finished his sentence he explodes in laughter, waves, and disappears from sight, vanishing into thin air. For if he stayed any longer, she just might have hurt him.
Larxene's face turned red. "Wh-what are you on about?" She asked, her voice faltered near the end of her sentence. Eyes widening a little, she slung a pillow at Xigbar's face as he vanished. it landed in the spot he sat in. Despite his snarky comments, returning the phone to her seemed like a good enough idea After a few minutes of silence, she stood, holding Aqua's phone to her chest. Larxene looked down at herself. If she DID plan on returning it, she needed clothes. Couldn't very well wander in the city in her underwear. She rifled through the cabinet full of her clothes and wriggled into a pair of shorts before darting out of her tent. She turned her head to glance behind her as she crossed over the gates of the circus grounds. She was in the clear, nobody stopped to question where she was running to. Part of her thought it was a little peculiar. The girl finally slowed to a walk, flipping open the phone. She held it with both hands, and clicked on the first name she saw. "What kind of a name is 'Terra'?" She scrolled through the SMS log. She blinked slowly, scrolling endlessly through messages, all from the same name. "Whoever this is, seems like a real prize." She murmured, selecting 'call' anyway.
