A/N Sorry it took me so long to post a new chapter. Honestly life got in the way along with having slight writers block. I just want you, my faithful readers, to know that I HAVE NOT abandoned you. I am still looking for a beta to go over my works so until then I apologize for spelling or grammar mistakes. I do not own Inu-Yasha or any of its affiliates.

Kagome walks into her father's office den and calls to him softly not wanting to disturb the cub asleep in her arms. Her father looks up from his work and smiles softly at his daughter before tensing and he smells a weird scent coming from her.

Kagome notices and walks to her father placing the cub into his arms gently. He takes the cub and looks it over his eyes glinting in anger when he sees the sorry state of the cub. He knows that is has been abused and neglected and snarls.

The cub awakens and lets out a very pathetically weak cry and starts to shake in his arms. Kagome quickly takes the frightened cub from his arms and gently rocks it as if it were a child. He looks on in amazement as the cub calms immediately and nuzzles into his daughter's bosom.

Once more content is falls back asleep. The silence in the office is so thick that the faltering beat of the cub's heart is very easily heard. Kagome gently tries to awaken the cub, but it does not stir. Noticing this her father quickly calls for a female to bring one of the special cups made for wolf cubs that are abandoned by a female unable to take care of their cub.

Kagome smiles as Sakaara enters the room and she takes the strange bottle from her and tries to convince the cub to eat. Kagome's panic rises as the cub only whimpers and does not awaken. Kagome gently lays the cub does and shifts into her true form. Her father gasps at the wolf in front of him laying down next to the cub and encouraging to suckle on it.

The wolf is pure white with the blackest tips of her tail and ears along with socks of the same color. He smiles in amazement as the cub starts to regenerate in front of his very eyes. As it does he sighs in relief and leave the cub and wolf to take care of themselves while he goes to speak to the healer about the strange events.

WITH THE HEALER

The Alpha of the pack enters the rooms and nods it respect to the healer.

He sighs and says "I don't understand. I know my daughter is special but her demon side has accepted a wolf cub as her own and is nursing him. That shouldn't even be possible because she is still a pure female not only that but she has not had a pup can that be?"

The healer smiles and nods. "Your daughter is truly something to behold. Her body will adjust to anything she has need for it to. It is a part of being a pure elemental. She and her demon decide how to change and what to change, many will be after her for her strength and purity, I only hope that ye find a suitable mate for her before her first heat. It will be strong without a proper mate; I doubt even you would be able to resist her.?"

The Alpha shudders and nods walking away to think about the things he has learned about his daughter along with what he will have to do to find her a mate. He also needed to ponder more on the cub she has adopted as her own. He knew it was no ordinary cub, but what exactly it was would only be something to know through time and patience and banked on the cub surviving the night.
