Caroline p.o.v,
"so I just wanted to apologise-" I say as I walk into the gym , Seeing Marcel and Klaus standing at the reception desk, Marcel holding a clip board and talking heatedly as I walk in, Both of them stopping as soon as I made my presence known.
"About the other day, I-I'm not quite sure what happened or how it happened, And I don't really want to explain what happened, I just sort of , I don't really even know"
They both just look at me with a mixture of emotions in their kind eyes, Making me take another breath before continuing, "Again sorry, I never wanted to-" I stop when Marcel speaks his face taking on a soft smile, "Caroline it's fine, As long as your okay now, Are you- Okay" he asks
"Fine, Nothing a bottle of Tequila can't fix right" I say trying to lighten the mood of it all.
"Right," Marcel says letting out a soft humouring laugh, "You here for training" he asks after a moment of silence, My eyes drifting over to Klaus who was still standing silent watching me closely but his face not giving anything away making me more self concious,
"It depends am I still wanted here" I say looking at Klaus expectingly "Klaus?" I ask trying desperately to hide my inner turmoil,
I watch as he looks at Marcel then back to me but instead of saying what I hoped to hear he clears his throat turning away from me back to Marcel "Be here at 8 like usual" He says not bothering to look at me at all, Swallowing the feeling of rejection I smile kindly at Marcel before walking out into the fresh air, Inhaling deeply before walking back over to Alaric's truck and quickly driving back to work.
Katherine p.o.v,
"Really Bon- Bon," I say looking at her huffing about like she was Caroline , Before turning back to feeding Nadia some mashed banana's "Kat its important" she says blowing some hair out of her face groaning when it falls back down "What is so important about what your wearing, Are you appearing at court for something that we don't know about?" I ask still confused about what the big deal is.
"I can't tell you, But just help me okay, Ah will you stay back" Bonnie groans holding the piece of hair between her fingers before tucking it back behind her ear.
"Cut it off" I say looking back at her "I can't cut it off" she says looking at me as I feed the last spoon full of banana to Nadia who decide she would rather squish it between her fingers then eat it making me laugh,
"Why not?" I ask coming back to the conversation with a stressed out Bonnie, "Because that would involve a hair dresser, which involves money and I can't afford to pay to have some one cut it right now" she says as if its the most logical thing in the world,
"I can cut it if you want, I used to work part time at a barbers for a while and the owner liked me and would teach me the basics after my shift" I say remembering my short job at Alto's cuts,
"Really" she says and I nod and point to the stool next to the high chair "Sit here and watch her so that she doesn't fling Banana around the kitchen and send Caroline into a tizzy over her cupboards while I run and get my scissors" I say before walking into my bedroom and going to my antique chest.
My eyes land on the photo of my parents with their arms wrapped around mine and Elena's shoulders as we hold Jeremy's hands, Everyone smiling at the photo Except Elena who's scowling for some reason, Making my eyes water but a smile creeping on my face nonetheless.
Picking up my scissors and the photo frame I walk back into the living room and before heading over to Bonnie who's chatting baby talk to Nadia stop at the mantle place placing the photo there next to the one taken of me, Care and Bonnie when we found out that Nadia was going to be a girl.
"so how do you want me to do it" I ask picking up a towel and placing it around her shoulders, "I'm not sure, All I know is that it needs to look good and be maintainable and to stop getting in my face" she says eyeing a piece menacingly causing me to lightly chuckle "Okay" I say before brushing her hair back.
"so your moving in with Kol next week are you still wanting to?" I ask as I start to cut her hair, "Yeah, I guess" she says a lot of uncertainty in her voice.
"Bon if you don't want to you know you can stay" I say stopping to look at her, "no its, I want to move in with him I do, I really do" she says after awhile, "Then what is it bon" I ask moving around to the different side of her head.
"I, It's just I'm gonna seriously miss you both and Nadia, Like when I think about it I'm excited, But then when I think about not getting to see you and care or our little girl every day it makes me not want to go you know" she says touching one of Nadia's hands letting her put it in her mouth.
"Bon, Its going to be okay you know, And I hate it to you know you moving out and all but I see the way you are around him the way he is around you and its going to be okay, and plus you and I both know Care is gonna impeed a rule about you coming to dinner or lunch atleast twice a week or something and you can steal her any time you want, And there's always the phone and if you ever get annoyed at Kol or in an arguement and don't want to stay there you can always come home" I say touching her shoulders comfortingly before getting back to work on her fringe.
"Thanks your right, I was being silly" Bonnie says smiling up at me, "done" I say admiring my handiwork.
"Go put on that dark blue dress you tried on first then come out and I'll show you your hair" I say watching as she nods and heads of.
"hey, Your back early" I say watching as Caroline comes in smiling at me, "Yeah Ric had to close up early something about a meeting with doctors about Jenna, Hey baby girl" she says taking off her jacket before picking up Nadia who is squealing at her happily "Oh cool" I say watching her talk to Nadia who's responding with a series of giggles and baby chat, Acting as if she can understand her.
"What's with all the hair on the floor" Caroline asks "Oh I just cut Bonnie's hair" I say which reminds me that Bonnie is still getting changed "Bonnie get your skinny ass out here" I shout at the door to the bathroom,
"Okay I'm coming geesh" Bonnie says stepping out of the door holding her hands up in surrender.
"Wow" Caroline says looking at her, Taking her appearance in, Her once long hair cut short into a stylish short bob that inclines around the back of her head, Perfectly framing her face and land just above her collar bone, Her dark blue Business dress form fitted to her frame making her look smart and classy the hair adding a sexy look to her.
"What is it bad, God Katherine if you've made me look like I'm -" I hold the mirror up to her which cuts her words short as she gets a look at her reflection, "Wow, I look, wow you've made me look wow" she says not able to take her eyes of her reflection,
"You look hot bon, Like capital letters H.O.T" Caroline says walking around her to get a full look at my handiwork.
"Do you like it?" I ask, Nervous of her opinion, Scared in case she hates it, I hold my breathe as I wait for her answer.
Her response is to run into me wrapping her arms around my neck, Holding me so tight that I can hardly breathe, "Bon your cutting her air supply off" Caroline says for me,
"Oh sorry, But Oh my god, I love it thank you" Bonnie says clasping her hands together acting the most excited I've seen from her, Causing me to laugh, Caroline joining me.
"You should totally be a full time hairdresser" Bonnie says as I walk to the fridge for a bottle of water, I scoff under my breath and shake my head.
"You should, She's right you'd be really good at it" Caroline says joining in with bonnie, "Yeah and who's gonna want to hire me with my track record , Please I wouldn't hire me" I say thinking about my track record with employment.
"What about the place that taught you to cut hair, why can't you ask them for a job" Bonnie says sliding into the stool next to where Caroline is sitting with Nadia sat on the work top in front of her, "No I left that place for a reason, And that reason would be Patel's wandering hands and no sense of boundries" I say remembering all the times he would touch my shoulder and brush up against me "And he wouldn't want to, Especially since I quit by punching him in the face for grabbing my ass, There's no way, Plus what about Nadia I cant leave her alone and we cant afford a nanny" I say looking at my little girl playing with one of Caroline's hands
"Why don't you do it on your own then" Caroline says looking up at me, "Ooh yeah you could totally do that , You could charge people and If you don't want to go to there homes then they could come here, And then you can still be with Nadia, Plus the extra money could be really helpful" Bonnie says making me want to do it.
"We could set up a website make cards, And I'm sure Ric wouldn't mind having them in the shop and I could ask Marcel, Kol could tell people at the hospital about it, We could call it Kat's cut's" Caroline says making me smile "Ooh I love that name" Bonnie says stealing my bottle of water, "Okay, Fine lets do it but only if you think people would actually want me to cut there hair" I say getting cut off by Bonnie, "Kol says he'd be happy to pass your name around, And a nurse just complained about needing her hair cut".
"Tell him to give her, Kat's name and the house phone number" Caroline says "Wait-" I say but the sound of Bonnie's phone the message is already sent, "How about we order dinner in and start on a business plan, And work hours that you would be willing to do" Bonnie says, "Actually I was gonna cook those steaks that have been marinating in the fridge for 3 days, So no to the ordering in but a yes to the planing, In my room I have the perfect supplies for it all" Caroline says the reality that we're actually doing this , That I'm actually doing this starts to sink in.
Bonnie p.o.v,
"So that's the last box" Kol says placing it down on the living room floor, Standing up and smiling at me his t-shirt sticking to his chest showing his defined chest, The view forcing me to bite my lip "Hey enough of the eye sex you two, We have work to do" Caroline says coming into the room snapping me out of my desire daze, "Sorry care" I say turning around and grabbing the first box I see,
"Where do I put this then" I ask looking at Care as she wipes some dust off her hands using her jeans shorts causing her open flannel shirt to scrunch up at the front "Eh bedroom, Be quiet though Katherine's in there trying to get Nadia asleep" Caroline says before heading to the bathroom with a smaller box.
"Hey, How's it going" I ask seeing Kat sat on the bed rocking Nadia in her arms "its going" she says with a small smile "shh" she says when Nadia moves about,
I work silently to put the clothes away and am nearly finished when Kat is able to lay Nadia down on the bed getting off to help me "hey I got this, You go out there to help Care, I'm sure she'll find you something to do , what with her mental check list an all" I say hearing a groan from Katherine "Not the check list" Katherine say laughing quietly at Caroline's obsessive planing skills.
I walk out to see Katherine sat down on the sofa as Caroline is sweeping the floor "Hey, Where's Kol?" I ask noticing him gone "I sent him to get pizza's" Caroline says earning a scoff from Katherine "What" Caroline says looking at Katherine "she basically threatened to with hold sex from him if he didn't stop playing on his phone and do something useful," I look at Caroline confused as to why he believed her a bit of suspicion rising.
"What I cant believe is he actually bought that you had that much power and left, Like she can actually convince you to with hold sex from your boyfriend" Katherine says looking up from the magazine to me, Her words squashing any suspicion that I might of felt a few moments before, Making it easy to join in the laughter "What it got him to get the food though" Caroline says emptying the dust pan into the bin before heading over to the sofa to sit down.
"Is that everything" I ask after we all stop laughing at Kol's expense , "Yes you are all moved in" Caroline says smiling at me, A sad smile , Making my eyes water slightly "Hey none of that, We did enough of that yesterday" Katherine says breaking us out of our near crying time with a snap of her fingers, "Now we have approximately another 45 minutes until Nadia wakes up and we have to get her home so lets do something fun while we wait for-" "Pizza's are here per your request Caroline" Kol says finishing off the sentence that Katherine was saying putting the 3 boxes down in front us all before sitting on the arm of my chair.
"You know that Care doesn't have the power to with hold our sex life right" I say looking up at him and laughing as the piece of pizza he was about to bite into stops mid-air in front of his mouth like a comedy sketch, His face so comical that I cant help but laugh at his adorable expression, Caroline and Katherine laughing at him too
"Bu- she" he says looking back en forth between me and Caroline who's smirking at him "Your so, So - , Mean" he says to her, Sending us all into another round of giggles when he pouts.
I watch as Kol is in full conversation with Katherine and Caroline and as if sensing me looking at him turns and smiles lovingly at me, My heart filled with complete happiness for the first time in my life. My mouth sending him a silent I love you watching as he mouth's it back to me, Caroline and Katherine seeing the whole thing turning around and saying it out loud Making me smile as I bite into a piece of pizza.
So after the last chapter I wanted to write a nice one, One that wasn't so emotional for me to write and while I was writing this it made me smile and even if my cat was grouchy because I was jostling him with me writing it I didn't mind because I liked this chapter.
For those of you who are wanting to know if Damon will find out about the baby well, You wont have to wait that long because I am working on it but right now its between two ideas on how he's gonna be coming into it, And I'm also trying to figure out chapters for my other stories.
