"Leave us alone!" Raf shouted as they continued running.

The three freshmen sprinted through the halls of the academy in order to lose the two older students hot on their tails once again.

Not realizing where they were going, the young students ended up running right into a dead end. They were then trapped there when their pursuers closed their only exit.

"Okay kids. Game's over." Breakdown told them.

"Listen, we're willing to let this entire wild chase scene slide, if you just hand that USB over to us and forget anything and everything you may or may not have seen." Knockout explained.

"Like hell we will! You're gonna have to pry this thing out of our cold, dead hands!" Miko replied defiantly.

Breakdown cracked his knuckles and Knockout smirked as he crossed his arms.

"That can be arranged." They spoke in unison.

Raf and Jack looked at Miko incredulously.

"Nice going Miko." Jack groaned. "Giving them ideas like that."

Raf backed up against the wall while Jack and Miko stepped out protectively in front of him.

"Oh yeah! Well, if you wanna beat us up you'd really better think carefully! We have the Autobots on our side so don't think that they're gonna have your hides if you guys lay a finger on us!" Miko continued defiantly.

"Tch. We Decepticons can handle the Auto-pussies. If we were to worry about anything its gonna be the teachers finding out. And there are no cameras in this hall. Just quit stallin' and hand the USB over." Breakdown replied. "Y'know, it is preferable to not get violent with a couple of kids."

"Oh come on Bryke. We can play with them for a bit." Knockout spoke with his friend.

"Hey, guys." Raf whispered to the older two freshmen.

"What is it Raf?" Jack replied quietly.

"You notice they're not actually making a move on us?"

"Yeah. So?" Miko wondered.

"They have us backed into a corner. They believe they have the upper hand. They're being cocky and waiting for us to cooperate." Raf continued.

"Okay. So what do we do about it?" Jack asked.

Raf frowned.

"You're not gonna like what I have in mind Jack." Raf replied.

"Oh? What is it then?" Miko pushed excitedly.

"I...I think we should just try to push past them. Forcefully." Raf answered.

"No. No, definitely not." Jack said.

"Aww why not? I think it's a sound plan." Miko complained.

"There is no way we're pushing past two seniors. Especially two senior Decepticons." Jack told her.

"But, look at them." Raf spoke.

The freshmen turned to the older students, who were currently deep in conversation about...something. They weren't even looking the freshmen's way.

"They've let their guard down and aren't expecting us to go on offence. If we do though, we'll surprise them and might get through. Then we make a straight line back to the caf and we'll be home free." Raf explained.

Jack kissed his teeth in disapproval.

"I think it's too risky-"

"You've got to be kidding me Jack!" Miko interrupted.

The two boys turned to her.

"You said that you wanted to be an Autobot. That you went against your mom's wishes to take a risk and do what you think is right. Am I wrong?" Miko continued.

"...no."

"Then what's this scrap you're talking about not wanting to take risks? Is it because we're with you? Don't act like a guardian to us alright? If you're not willing to take risks then why even bother wanting to become an Autobot? If you don't wanna take risks that's fine and dandy for you but don't go taking responsibility for things where you aren't needed. Don't make us feel any more helpless than we already are in this faction war."

Jack and Raf could only stare at Miko incredulously after her rant. Jack blinked before hanging his head and sighing.

"Heh. I guess you are kinda right." Jack concluded. "Sorry. But I do think we can be smart about this. The most important thing here is that the USB, and I'm gonna add Raf into that, is safe. Can we at least agree on that?"

Miko knit her eyebrows with a smirk before nodding.

"I can agree."

"Okay, if that's the case then since you two are physically stronger than me..."

For the next few moments Raf discussed his plan before Knockout spoke up.

"Hey, if you kids are done cowering in fear we'd like the USB now please." He said.

"Looks like planning is over." Jack whispered before they turned to face the Decepticons. "Sure, we're just gonna hand it over."

He and Miko walked towards the older students. Jack noticed Knockout's lax pose as he held out his hand expecting to receive the port. Then before either of them could blink Miko and Jack rushed in at them and pushed them against the walls.

Raf then took off at high speed, disappearing around the corner immediately followed by Jack and Miko.

The two Decepticons stood there, dumbfounded, before shaking it off and running after them.

Feeling pumped with adrenaline Jack, Miko, and Raf sprinted all the way down to the cafeteria where they were met by their guardians.

"Guys! Where the hell have you kids been? We've been worried sick!" Arcee exclaimed as the freshmen slowed down to a halt.

"What've you guys been doing?" Bulkhead demanded.

None of them could answer as they tried to catch their breath, and their Decepticon pursuers turned the far corner and came into view.

"Those damn kids!" Knockout shouted as he and Breakdown skidded to a halt before colliding with either freshmen or Autobot.

The older Autobots stepped between their charges and the Decepticons.

"And what do you want with them?" Bulkhead snapped.

The Decepticons scowled, they both looked like they were ready for a fight but Knockout sighed and shook his head in disappointment. He turned around to leave and Breakdown followed, albeit reluctantly.

When they were gone, the Autobots turned back to face their younger friends.

"Okay seriously. What the actual hell happened during your lunch period?" Arcee demanded.

"So, you guys stopped a Decepticon plot to get countless Autobots expelled based off of Miko's hunch?" Ratchet summed up incredulously.

"Uh...yeah. Pretty much." Jack agreed.

It was after school, and the Autobots had gathered in room G-184 to listen to the freshmen's re accounting of what happened during their lunch.

"You went to investigate, stopped a potential catastrophe, and got away unscathed by yourselves. You should be proud." Optimus spoke before standing up on his crutches. "You guys showcased bravery, ingenuity, and great talent at not cracking under pressure. Those are all fine traits highly valued by Autobots."

Miko's face lit up.

"Uh, does that mean-"

Optimus smiled.

"Yes. You have all waited long enough and have more than proved yourselves. With my approval, Jack, Miko, and Raf from this moment onwards you three shall be recognized as official members of the Autobot faction."

With that, the meeting room suddenly broke out in loud cheering.
