"You guys did it!" Bulkhead cheered.

"Well done you three." Ultra Magnus congratulated.

""Well done"? Please, they did awesome!" Wheeljack replied.

"Yeah. You guys done good." Arcee added.

"Hey hey, okay everyone. As you all know, being an Autobot comes with a lot more than just me telling you that you are." Optimus interrupted the festivities. "You three require Autobot identification cards and your faction names."

The three freshmen smiled widely at the prospect of being given their own incredible, and slightly incredulous Autobot faction names.

"So, uh, how does that work?" Miko wondered. "The naming thing I mean."

"Well, we look at and consider your personalities and your real names, as well as the accomplishments you made to make the faction." Elita answered. "And by we I mean mainly Optimus and Magnus."

"Indeed, however I think we may need consulting from Bulkhead, Arcee, and Bumblebee, who are their assigned guardians and know them best." Optimus replied. "We will think it over tonight and get back to you three during tomorrow's meeting. Until then, Ultra Magnus if you will."

With that prompt, Magnus reached behind him and took out a small box. He opened it as he walked forward to the kids and held it out to them. They looked inside to see a collection of Autobot identification.

"Well don't just stare at them hurry up and pick one!" Ironhide spoke up.

Miko thrust her hand into the box to choose an identification card with a red Autobot insignia on it.

Raf and Jack quickly followed and got their own cards.

"Alright. I think that's enough for today. Everyone go home. Have a good night!" Optimus proclaimed and everyone left with pats on the back for their new additons.

"So, I guess I'll see you guys tomorrow." Jack said to his two friends.

"Bye Jack." Raf replied.

"See ya Jackrabbit!" Miko added.

Later that night, Jack collapsed onto his bed with a happy, but tired sigh.

At last, he, Miko and Raf were Autobots. He was able to take a closer part in the faction war. However, now that he was closer to the action it was probably going to become harder for him to keep this from his mom. With that, Jack closed his eyes and fell asleep.

"You IDIOTS!" Megatron screamed at his inner circle (except for Soundwave of course).

"Megatron, look, we can explain-" Starscream spoke before Megatron cut him off.

"And exactly WHAT is there to even EXPLAIN? You defied my orders to NOT engage with the Autobots until I gave you the okay! I could understand your idiocy Starscream and to some extent Knockout, but Dreadwing and Skyquake? Did your brains suddenly suffer from a major malfunction as well?" Megatron ranted.

The Jeddin were hanging their heads as their leader berated them.

"And not only did you guys go behind my back to do this, you couldn't even get it DONE! You were thwarted, by three, fragging, FRESHMEN!" Megatron continued as he faced Knockout and Breakdown. "Can you two explain that to me?"

Knockout's hands shook as Breakdown quietly tried to speak.

"Uh, well, they were pretty smart kids..."

Breakdown was interrupted by Megatron taking hold of his hair and pulling his head back so his frightened hazel eyes would meet with Megatron's malicious crimson.

"Smarts is one thing but OVERPOWERING two senior Decepticons is another! And now, thanks to your collective incompetence, the teachers are breathing down my back for not keeping my people in line!"

"Sir, if you wish it I would be willing to take full responsibility for this endeavour." Skyquake spoke up.

"No no Quint no. I can do that. I will take responsibility." Dreadwing offered.

"You know what, that's very kind of both of you-" Megatron stopped them and walked over to Starscream, picking him up by the throat of his collar. "-but I think that honour will be going to Starscream."

"W-wh-what?" Starscream stammered pathetically.

"You heard me. Tomorrow you are marching straight to the head office and admitting what you planned. Whatever happens to the rest of your lackeys is entirely up to the council." Megatron answered before he let Starscream drop to the ground.

When the Decepticon SIC looked back up he saw Megatron's face hidden mostly by the shadows cast by his hoodie, leaving only the light of his dangerous crimson eyes to shine through as the Decepticon leader cracked his knuckles threateningly.

"And don't even think about trying to run away from this, because if the council won't be the ones to punish you, then you can sure as hell bet that I will fill that role." Megatron spoke in a low voice.

Starscream's body shook as he quickly nodded his head.

Megatron turned and gave the rest of his inner circle another ba*-death stare before walking forward to leave, and was quickly followed by Soundwave.

"Um...sir, if I may inquire as to why you wish to put our attempts to thwart the Autobots on hold ever since Airachnid came." Dreadwing spoke.

Megatron's eye twitched.

"Word of advice: don't ever question my means or motives. No matter how absurd or obscure they may seem to you. Got it?"

Dreadwing bowed his head.

"Got it."

The two high ranking Decepticons got into Soundwave's truck, which they had gotten repaired since the catastrophe the Autobots had put it through.

Even though he never showed, nor voiced it, Megatron knew that Soundwave was still seething about that. The truck was his pride and joy (second only to Lazerbeak and his loyalty to Megatron) to see it in such a state of disrepair must have been crushing.

Wayne Sounders was one of Mason Trone's oldest friends and he was angry at the Autobots more for Soundwave's sake than his own.

Megatron's head rested on his arm as he stared out the window, his mind drifting to the past. A distinct image of a girl popped into his mind's eye, and it rested on her form until he felt Soundwave poking him.

"What?"

Soundwave pointed to his temple.

"Nothing. I'm not thinking about anything. Why would you ask?"

Soundwave tilted his head.

"Tch. Even if I was thinking about something it sure as hell wouldn't be her...oh wipe that smirk off your face. Dammit Soundwave."
