"What do you think is really going on with that guy?" Miko asked in their following Spanish class.

"What do you mean?" Jack wondered.

"I'm talking about the new kid. I mean, a dude that big and obviously powerful waltzes into the school and is all 'I'm a total badass, and I'm joining the Decepticons', without any warning. I mean he hasn't even been here a day yet." Miko ranted.

"Well, Shockwave probably had something to do with it," Raf spoke.

"Yeah, probably," Jack agreed.

"Ugh," Miko pouted.

"Hey, what're you so worked up for Miko?" Jack asked.

"Why are you two not worked up?" she snapped back. "This new kid is the first real threat to the Autobots since we became official faction members—"

"I'm technically not."

"—and I'm playing the part. I really wanna see what the rest of the faction has to say at the meeting after school."

"Jack, Miko, Raf!" their Spanish teacher, Mr. Blaze, exclaimed. "Is there something more important right now other than conjugating these verbs?"

"There's about ten thousand things that are always more important than conjugating verbs." Mike muttered.

"What was that Ms. Nakadai?"

"Nothin'. Spanish class is amazing and all that jazz."

"And this is our base of operations." Starscream explained to Predaking.

For some unexplained reason, Megatron had deemed Starscream to be the best one to break the Decepticon's newest member into their way of doing things. They started with a tour.

"An abandoned old warehouse?" Predaking spoke. "This seems…illegal."

"Yeah, so?" Starscream retorted. "It's not like anyone cares. I swear, this place has been completely empty since before any of us were even born."

"If you are certain." Predaking said. "Hmm…you said you're name was…Stan Skyfe?"

"Yeah."

"Huh, could you possibly be related to a Selina Skyfe?" Predaking wondered.

Startscream stopped dead in his tracks.

"What about her?" Starscream replied.

"Well, she attends the Vos Institute. I heard she's quite the—"

"She's NOWHERE near as brilliant as me!" Starscream exclaimed suddenly. "No matter what she, or anyone else may say I'm the smartest in our group of siblings. Just because she's older doesn't mean scrap. I mean, you have no idea how times she was suspended an almost expelled. And then there are my two other brothers. The two idiots got themselves expelled in freshmen year, regardless of what others may say. I mean, Thundercracker and Skywarp never were known for—"

Predaking watched the smaller boy's rant with a sly little smirk.

Hey, if you wanna see part of the reason why I keep Starscream around, mention his siblings. He's hilarious when he totally spazzes out.

Megatron had suggested that to him when he had appointed Starscream to show him around.

Breathing heavily, Starscream slowly but surely calmed down.

"Moving on, up there is where the Decepticon inner circle meets." Starscream pointed up at the ledge where Megatron, Soundwave, and Shockwave currently were.

"The Decepticon inner circle, huh." Predaking muttered.

"Heh, I know what you're thinking. Don't get any stupid ideas. It takes a while for people to prove themselves worthy enough to be invited to join us up ther—"

"Predaking!" Megatron called. "Come up here will you!"

Jaw practically hanging on a thread, Starscream watched as Predaking made his way up to the inner circle.

"Yes Megatron." Predaking greeted.

"I wanted to know more about you. Shockwave has told me much, but I have a feeling that you will provide me with greater insight."

Predaking nodded. "What do you wish to know?"

"Hm, let's start with athletics. How confident are you in the sports department?"

"Very confident sir." Predaking answered with a gleam in his eyes. "Areas of most worthy note are basketball, football, and wrestling. I'm of most use using my full body, although mainly my hands. I'm, not totally confident when it comes to relying solely upon my legs."

Predaking noticed the boy with the covered face jotting down notes onto his laptop as he spoke.

"Are you any good at hockey?"

"…I can't skate, sir."

"Tch," Megatron huffed disappointedly. "Too bad. I hate having to rely solely on the Autobots for anything, but I guess the Dinobots got it covered."

"May I ask what you mean?"

"I'm talking about the Deception participation in the Galaxy Games. You do know about the Galaxy Games don't you?"

Predaking furrowed his brows before shaking his head.

Megatron turned to Shockwave.

"You bring him here at this time, and didn't think to tell him about the Games?" he asked Shockwave.

"I didn't think it necessary," Shockwave explained. "I knew that he would be fit enough to participate, plus, between all of the paperwork to get us both here now, the topic never came up."

Megatron sighed. "Fine. Explain it to him now then."

Shockwave nodded before turning to the taller boy.

"The Galaxy Games are a massive competitive event bringing together the four high schools of Galaxy City. The schools participate in a wide range of activities, both academic and sports related, collecting win points in order to be declared champion. Since the Games have become such an important staple of our school, we Decepticons are assessing each of our members strengths and weaknesses, determining where they would be most useful during the Games."

"Oh, but, I am not part of any school teams as of now." Predaking spoke worriedly.

"That's the great thing about the Games." Megatron replied. "During the Games, you don't necessarily have to be on the teams officially to participate. There are pre-game trials for each event, anyone can go. So we'll put you down for what you're good at."

Predaking nodded in understanding.

Just then, Megatron's phone vibrated. He read the text that appeared on screen. Then, his face flushed red.

"Ah, okay, cool. Yeah, that'll be all for today." Megatron stuttered frantically. "I've got somewhere to be."

He gave a thumbs up at Soundwave, who gave two thumbs up in return.

"Yeah…bye."

Then he left.

"What was that about?" Shockwave questioned Soundwave.

The boy without a face shrugged, as if the silent communication between him and Megatron had never happened.

Shockwave sighed. If Soundwave doesn't give you info the first time around, he's never going to let up. Every student at Cybertron Academy knew that.

Regardless, he couldn't help but wonder what could possibly get the Deception leader so flustered.

"What do you think Optimus?" Ultra Magnus spoke at the Autobot meeting.

"I think it's a shame that I wasn't able to see him person today. I'd be able to give a proper assessment then. However, from what I've been told, I say we don't start anything. We can't risk getting anyone expelled, or worse, hurt. Especially since we're so close to the Galaxy Games. Let's just lay low for now and keep the unspoken, non-violent truce throughout the games." Optimus decided.

The rest of the faction nodded their heads in silent agreement, and Optimus reached to his side to take hold of the cup beside him. Unfortunately, his hand missed it, knocking it off of the table and causing the Energy Cola to spill all over the floor.

"Scrap." Optimus cursed under his breath. "Do we have any napkins?"

"I can go get some from the janitor's closet!" Bumblebee volunteered.

With Optimus's approval, Bumblebee took off down the hall.

After Jack, Miko and Raf, Bumblebee was one of the youngest Autobots. He was always chipper, always doing his best to aid his faction. Standing up to Megatron's brutality was a testament to that. Even so, Bumblebee still hid his shudders of fear when Megatron was near. The silver haired boy with red eyes was intimidating enough, but with his past experiences with him, Bumblebee was actually quite frightened of the older student.

Why was he thinking about Megatron and how he scares him? It was because when he opened up the door to the janitor's closet, inside was Megatron and that girl who was friends with Elita and Chromia-Dominique was it-kissing. Fiercely.

Bumblebee blinked several times in disbelief. The older student's eyes were closed and they were just too invested in what they were doing to notice the blond boy standing in the doorway watching them.

Bumblebee felt like he had been standing there frozen for a good few minutes before he grabbed a stack of napkins that were luckily placed near the door, and took off without sparing a single glance behind him.

"What took you so long Bee?" Raf asked him once he returned.

"Ah...nothing."

*hides behind laptop*

Oh God please don't kill me! I couldn't help it! Many of you probably saw this coming, especially if you read my story Before but...ugh. I feel like such a hypocrite. But, yeah, here's a romance subplot that won't come up again for a while. Y'know, because high school.

So between...that, and generally hyping up the Galaxy Games, let me know what you think! Comment and review!
