Celebrate
It was bittersweet. Not a victory, not to her. How many people died? How many lives destroyed? How long would it take for the scars - physical and emotional - to heal?
She lost so many people close to her, her cousin, her father, so many people from her clan and her village had died.
When she ad returned from the war, the bodies of her family wrapped in white sheet's behind her, she had been hardly recognisable. The one that people had called weak, but who had the strength to stand beside her peers as acting Hyuuga clan head, a warrior and hero. Never once crying or hanging her head, refusing to stutter and always stoic.
But behind closed doors Hinata had changed even more. She never once smiled, she was even more reclusive than before. She didn't cry either. She was just stoic, calm and distant. The perfect Hyuuga.
What worried Hanabi the most about the changes in her sister was that when the rest of Team's 7, 8, 9 and 10 went out to celebrate the little things (Shikamaru dating Temari. The opening of the new Hokage tower), Hinata stayed home, lying prone on her bed, a half drunk bottle of saké dangling from her fingers.
Until Naruto found out what was really happening (this had taken all of three social events). Then she was dragged along, wether she wanted to or not.
Sorry for no update yesterday. I had school prize giving. I got academic excellence, which gives me a $5000 scholarship from the Uni I'm going to next year, $50 voucher to a local book/stationary store and the feeling of satisfaction having beat out my eternal rival(absolutely fucking priceless).
