Orange
"So why orange?" Hinata played with the zipper of her fiancé's jacket.
"Cause why not?" Naruto smirked. "It's a nice colour."
"That it is." She murmured. "But really, why?"
"It's got a lot to do with how I grew up."
"Oh."
"Nah, don't feel bad, it's not your fault. Or anyone's really. I was an attention seeker and orange is bright." Naruto smiled down at her. "Why do you want to know?"
"Well it's not exactly a very practical colour for a ninja, is it?"
"Yeah, probably not. I don't think my hair help's much either." He was grinning again. "At least I got my dad's hair and not mum's. That would not work well with orange."
"You would have worn it anyway."
"Yeah." Naruto stroked her hair staring out the window, not telling her the real reason he wore the colour. "Probably."
Eh I broke my promise once may as well do it properly. Gahhhhhhhhhh I need that chapter. I receive my exam results tomorrow.
