"Do I have to go to school?" The boy complained as his mother tugged at the zipper of his jacket. "I already know everything they teach us."
"Do you want to become strong like your Dad?" Hinata stood up to grab Minato's lunch.
"He already taught me everything." Minato argued with the defiance only children could muster "I know the clone jutsu and the shuriken jutsu -"
"But do you know how the nations get along?" Naruto walked into the room.
"Shouldn't you be at the hokage tower by now." Hinata sighed as her husband grabbed the coffee pot.
"My meeting got cancelled."
"Then can you explain to your son why he need's an education?"
Naruto looked thoughtful for a moment. "You need an education to become strong like me, smart like Shikamaru and scary like Sasuke."
"Uncle Sasuke's not scary."
"That's because you aren't an enemy of Konoha." Naruto smiled. "Do you want to be able to protect Konoha like we do when you grow up?"
"Yes!"
"What about your siblings when they are born?"
"Yeah!"
"So do you want to go to school?"
"Nope, but I'll go anyway if going to school means I can be strong enough to protect the village!"
