Chapter 15- Tid Vs. Spike
Me: Alright, it's about to get real.
Tid: This is what you had in mind?
Me: You should've known that. We are the same person after all. Anyway, time for the disclaimer. I don't own the rights to Naruto Shippuden or My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

I looked over my shoulder to see Spike to be the source of the voice. I closed the book and replaced it on the shelf exactly where I had found it.
"Pardon?" I asked him.
"I said: Why are you here?" He asked in annoyance. I was surprised to hear such hostility in his voice.
"I'm here because Rarity asked me to accompany her here." I replied turning around to face the small dragon.
"Well you'd better stay away from her." He said clenching his fist.
"Stay away from whom?" I asked.
"Rarity!" He shouted as if I were playing dumb.
"And why's that?" I asked calmly.
"Because I like her, and I know you like her too, so you'd better stay away from her, or else."
I raised my eyebrows in amusement.
"Or else? Kid, I think you're a little too small to be making threats. I don't know where you got the idea that I 'like' her, but I don't want to fight you, so we should just drop it." I said.
"I'll drop it when you stay away from her." He said clenching his fist even tighter. I raised my hands in a defensive gesture.
"Sorry, but I can't just abandon a friend." I said.
"Fine, then I'm going to end this." He said.
"And how are you going t-" I was interrupted by Spike's tail slamming into my chest, sending me crashing through Twilight's door.
I flew a short distance from the sheer force of the impact and landed hard on the ground, wincing as I came to a halt. I stood up and wiped the blood from my mouth as Spike came crashing through the wall, sending debris flying everywhere. Spike had somehow grown to several hundred times his normal size, and was now staring at me with a fierce burning glare.
"Fine, if that's how you want to be, then so be it." I said.
I released a short amount of chains from my wrist and began to run toward Spike. I jumped into the air and he took a swipe at me, his claw just barely missing my body. I ignited my fist and punched him square in the face, causing him to fall backwards and destroy a large portion of Twilight's house.
Twilight's gonna kill me for this. I thought fretfully. Oh well, Spike had to be stopped, and if a building or two was destroyed in the process, it was worth it, right?
Spike sat up, shaking his head. I landed on the ground a short distance away. He glared at me with a look of hatred. He rose to his feet and immediately started attacking me, swinging his claws and tail almost faster than I could dodge. Finally he got me, his claw pinning me to the ground. I winced from the pressure he was putting on my body. He raised his other claw into the air, preparing to end my life with one swing. I wrenched my arms free and weaved hand signs.
"Fire Style: Flaming Bomb Barrage!" I said. The flaming bombs appeared in front of me and shot at Spike, a few exploding in his face. He released me to cover his face, which was now smoking; stumbling backwards.
I rose to my feet and breathed a sigh of relief.
"He's much more powerful than I thought. Seems I'm gonna have to use them." I said. At that moment Twilight and Rarity appeared with a look of shock on both of their faces.
"What's going on here?!" Twilight asked.
"Spike attacked me. I have a feeling he won't stop until I'm dead, or I defeat him." I replied turning toward her.
"Why did he attack you?" Rarity asked. I hesitated. Did she know he liked her? Oh well, that didn't matter, I had to tell the truth.
"Spike told me to stay away from you, Rarity. When I refused, he attacked." I said. She blushed slightly.
"This is all about me?" She asked.
"I guess you could say that. Listen, Twilight, I'm about to use something very dangerous that could very well end Spike's life, so I need your permission to use it. I have no intention of ending his life, I'm just saying that might happen." I said.
Twilight looked between me and the now enraged Spike. It was a very hard decision, I could tell.
"Alright," She said after a while.
At that moment Spike recovered from my previous attack and glared at me with pure resentment. I nodded.
"Thank you. I promise I'll try not to kill him." I said.
I was about to run back at Spike but Rarity stopped me by placing her hoof on my shoulder.
"Tid, don't hurt him too much, okay?" She asked.
I looked into her eyes, seeing what resembled a mother's care for a child in the brilliant blue pools.
"I'll try." I said smiling. She gave a smile and let go of me.
I turned toward Spike and stared at him.
"It's show time." I said.
He charged at me, letting loose a mighty roar that could've awakened even the sleepiest of giant bears.
"First: Gate of Opening, open!" I said.
I felt a surge of power as the First Gate was forced open. I ran toward him at a high speed, causing him to stop to see where I was. I activated my Sharingan, allowing my eyes to keep up with my movements.
"Second: Gate of Rest, open!" I said when I was behind him.
He turned around at the sound of my voice, immediately bringing his claw down on me. I avoided the attack and brought my leg down on his claw, causing him to turn top-heavy and fall to the ground. He roared in pain as I jumped away to avoid being crushed by his massive body.
As he was lying on the ground he swung his tail at me. I looked at it and my eyes widened in surprise. I had just enough time to raise both of my arms to try and block it before it collided with me. His tail kept going, pushing me along the ground despite the resistance I put into it, eventually finishing the sweep and sending me flying through what remained of Twilight's house with incredible force. As I collided with the wooden structure the wood splintered and shattered and a large chunk lodged itself in my back. I winced in pain, a dust cloud reducing my visibility as well. I painfully reached behind me and pulled the chunk of wood out, blood falling to the floor. Blood was also leaking from the corner of my mouth. I stood up and wiped it away, staring at where I thought Spike was.
"Okay, now I know what it's gonna take." I said.
As the dust cleared I could see Spike just then rising to his feet.
"Fifth: Gate of Closing, open!" I said.
I forced three Gates open at the same time, which took quite a considerable amount of effort. I could feel my muscle mass begin to expand, hardly containing the massive surge of power. My skin also turned red from the increased blood flow. A green aura surrounded my body as well.
"This is going to destroy my body, but I have no other choice." I said clenching my fists.
I charged toward Spike and leapt into the air, delivering a powerful punch straight to his stomach. He doubled over just as I landed on the ground. I pushed off of the ground and delivered an uppercut to his lower jaw, forcing him to straighten up. Then I put my chains to use. I released more chains and wrapped his body in them, restricting his movement. I jumped off of his shoulder and pulled with all my might, barely able to lift his massive body into the air.
"Hidden Lotus!" I shouted as I delivered an open-palm strike and a fierce kick at the same time.
Spike was sent crashing into the ground as I withdrew my chains. I landed on the ground, panting as the cloud of dust dissipated. I turned to Twilight and Rarity, their faces filled with shock and awe. I rubbed the back of my head.
"Sorry, I guess I overdid it." I said chuckling a little. At that moment I felt the ground shake as Spike drew himself to his feet, clambering clumsily out of the crater that had formed. I turned to look at him when I saw him take in a deep breath, wisps of fire easing from the corners of his mouth. My eyes widened. Twilight and Rarity gasped.
Spike exhaled his fiery breath at me, engulfing me in the green flames. I heard Rarity scream as this happened. I grinned and opened my mouth, inhaling deeply. The flames then began to flow into my mouth, being absorbed by my body and restoring some energy. When I had inhaled all of the flames I glanced at Rarity and Twilight, who were both speechless.
"H-how did you?" Twilight asked bewildered.
"I'll explain later." I said.
I returned my attention to Spike.
"Alright, since the Hidden Lotus didn't stop you, it's time for you to face a Peacock." I said. He tilted his head in confusion.
"Sixth: Gate of Joy, open!" I said.
I forced the Sixth Gate open and felt my power increase incredibly. I leapt into the air, stopping just before his face. I then began to throw punches at a breakneck speed, the sheer friction igniting my hands. Spike had no choice but to take each of my punches.
"Morning Peacock!" I shouted.
I finished it with one final blow from my flame engulfed fist. He began to fall and I jumped off of him, flying high into the air as he crashed into the ground again.
"This is it, the finishing blow!" I said.
I opened the Seventh Gate and ignited my whole body. I used my Chakra to intensify the flames; I was putting everything I had into this last shot. I flipped myself so that I was facing the ground head first. I then began to fall toward Spike, increasing in speed as I did so.
"Fire Style: Flaming Comet Punch!" I shouted as I drew one arm back and punched Spike with all the force I could muster. He sank even further into the ground, dust shooting up all around us.
When the dust cleared I struggled to my feet, which was painful considering my muscles were practically ripping themselves apart. I was panting heavily, and I could taste the metallic flavor of blood in my mouth. The flames and aura around my body dissipated at once, my Chakra having been exhausted. Why did I have to put so much into it? I held my left arm with my right, unable to move the former. Rarity and Twilight ran over to me. I watched the crater as Spike shrank back to his baby dragon size. I could see his chest moving up and down, which told me he was still breathing. I turned to Twilight and Rarity.
"There, it worked out. He's still alive." I said with a weak, painful smile.
"Are you okay?" Rarity asked placing her hoof on my shoulder. I screamed with pain as she did so, pain shooting from where she touched. She quickly withdrew her hoof.
"Oh I'm so sorry!" She apologized with a look of regret on her face.
"It's fine, it's just that my muscles are practically ripping themselves apart right now." I said.
"What?!" They both asked.
"When I said I was about to do something dangerous, I didn't mean for just Spike." I said.
"Then why did you do it?" Rarity asked. "I already told you, I had to do it. I'm not strong enough to stop him without using that technique." I replied.
"Well we need to get you to a hospital right away! Who knows what could happen if you were left in this state!" Rarity said.
"Yeah, let's go." I said.
They turned around and I managed to take a few steps before my vision began to tunnel. My legs felt weak and I sank to my knees, and then to the ground. Unable to keep myself conscious anymore, I closed my eyes and resigned to a dreamless sleep.
