If there was one thing Nara Yoshino hated it was spiders.
And her husband had been well aware of this fact. It was actually part of the story of how they met. She had seen an - admittedly quite large - spider in the schoolyard and had grabbed the nearest boy (Who was actually Choza) and screamed "Somebody kill it."
Well Shikaku was 'somebody' but he didn't exactly 'kill it'. He picked it up and placed it in her hair. A classic of eight year old boys everywhere.
After that Spiders had become a thing for the pair, he would 'torment' her with them and she would kick him in the shins for it. And somehow that had evolved in to something special. When he had developed his special technique - The Black Spider Lily - she had been the first person he showed. After swearing on his life that there were no actual spiders involved, of course.
But now as she watched the spider crawling along the edge of the sink, Yoshino wished that that boy was here to laugh as he put it in her hair. She may have hated spiders, dreaded the very sight of them, but there was nothing she would not do to have Shikaku here, dangling it over her head.
