Bonsai
If there was one thing Yamato hated it was the practice of growing really tiny trees, also known as bonsai.
To him it was so incredibly wrong, trees were supposed to be big, to sprawl over large areas. Bonsai was constricting, the trees were so small. All of his life he had felt for those tiny plants, The way they grew was just so wrong to him.
And now as he was trapped in the Shinju tree, his life force being sapped to fuel lesser copies of the First, he had never wanted to turn a tree into bonsai more. He loathed not being able to move, to use his jutsu to create. The simple act of breathing deeply was lost to him. Maybe that was how a bonsai felt. Trapped and throttled.
It didn't change the fact that the first thing he was going to do when he was free was to (attempt) to transform the Tree into Bonsai.
He hated it that much.
And it was Kabuto. Nice explanation on Minato, and Suigetsu, you funny guy. Really enjoyed this chapter. I will go mourn Gai, Lee and Tenten now. It would be cruel of Kishi To leave Lee/Tenten alone.
