Chapter 46- The Mirror?

Me: Alright, this chapter is going to lead right into the next one, so try to keep up with me.

Tid: Oh no, what do you have planned now?

Me: You should know by now I can't reveal anything ahead of time. Anyway, I don't own the rights to Naruto Shippuden or My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

We walked toward Robert's house in the countryside. We had stopped to get Rarity before we left, knowing she'd want to see where I came from. "Oh I have to say I'm most excited to see what your world is like, Tid. It sounds just marvelous." She said. "Actually, my world is a world of constant danger. We haven't had a peaceful period in three years." I said. "Is that so? Well, it still sounds like it's full of beauty. After all, if that Yorokobi was from this world, then who knows what kind of beautiful scenes we'll see." She said with an expression of wonder. Her eyes shined with imagination. Boy was she in for a surprise. We came up to the hill where Robert's house was and we stopped dead in our tracks when we saw it. The others gasped. The house had no barrier around it, and a section of the upper floor was completely destroyed. "What happened here?" Twilight asked. "I don't know, but I have a feeling we are facing something entirely new in this war." I said grimly. We ran to the house and burst through the door, which stood slightly ajar. We searched the house but couldn't find anyone, not even a body. I was searching upstairs when I saw a mirror on the floor of their bedroom. It was covered with debris, but other than that it was perfectly fine; which amazed me. I dug it out of the debris and carried it downstairs. "I couldn't find anyone upstairs, but I did find the mirror." I said. It was about the size of my body, which made sense if it was used to travel to another dimension. I set the mirror carefully against a wall. I looked at the others. "Are you guys ready?" I asked. "Well, there's nothing we can do here, so I guess so." Twilight said. Rarity walked up to me and I took her hoof in my hand. "Ready to be a shinobi?" I asked her. She nodded and we walked through the mirror together.

I woke up with a slight headache. "Is this going to happen every time I travel somewhere?" I asked myself. I looked around and saw the others in their human forms lying next to me. Rarity looked pale, like she had seen a ghost. Her hair was purple still, and it also held the same shape as her mane. She was wearing her Akatsuki dress, which had turned into a cloak like mine. She also wore a golden bracelet around her left wrist. She wore purple shoes that were almost the same length as mine. They came to a point just short of her knees. They also had diamonds on them, which I guessed was to make up for her not having her cutie mark in this dimension. The others had taken a similar form. They were also wearing their Akatsuki dresses, (seriously, were they all going to wear those forever?), which had also transformed into cloaks. They all looked similar to Rarity, their hairstyles, their cutie marks on their shoes, etc. One by one they woke up and reacted to their new bodies, except Twilight, who seemed to be perfectly fine with it. Rarity looked around for me, despite being right next to me. Her eyes eventually fell on me. "Welcome to my world." I said standing up and reaching out my hand to help her do the same. She took my hand and I helped her stand up. She had to lean on me for a few moments while she got used to her new legs, but I didn't mind. When she had finally gotten used to her new legs, she took a look around. "My, I have to say, this world looks far different from ours." She said. Rainbow Dash tried to fly but failed, falling on her face. "Oh, I forgot to warn you, you don't have horns or wings in a different dimension." Twilight said. Rainbow Dash sat up rubbing her head. "Thanks for telling me that now!" She said. "Sorry." Twilight said. Pinkie Pie was adjusting quite well to her new body. She was running around faster than I could when I was a Genin. "Where are we, exactly?" Twilight asked when Pinkie Pie had stopped running around. "I have no idea. We are in some type of forest, but I don't know where we are located." I said. "I guess that leaves us only one option." She said. I nodded. We were going to have to find the edge of this forest and pray that it was close to the Hidden Leaf Village.

We moved through the forest for what seemed like hours before finally coming upon the edge of it. We walked out into the bright sunshine and stood on a cliff overlooking the Hidden Leaf Village. "Seems like we got lucky." I said. The others gawked in amazement at its size and beauty. "Look at this! It's simply the most beautiful sight I've ever seen! Just look at the architecture, the culture, and that mountain over there!" Rarity said pointing to the Hokage Monument. "This is where you used to live?" Pinkie Pie asked. I nodded. She was so eager to get down to the village she almost fell over the side of the cliff we were standing on. I grabbed her to make sure she wouldn't fall over. "Be careful now, danger in this world is present even more than in the other one. Try not to act too suspicious, okay? I'm not exactly loved in this village." I said. "Why not?" Twilight asked. "The people of this world have never taken too kindly to people like me, the ones with beasts inside of them." I said. "You mean there are others who have beasts sealed inside of them?" Twilight asked. "There used to be nine other beasts, but most of them were used to revive the Ten Tails. I'm not sure what all has happened since I left, but I know of one Jinchuriki who would side with me, as arrogant and naive as he may be." I said. We traveled down the cliff, clinging tightly to the wall as we did so. Eventually we reached the bottom of the cliff and started walking toward the village. When we reached the main gate, we were met by Kakashi and Guy. "Tid? What are you doing here?" Kakashi asked. "Hello Kakashi. It's nice to see you again." I said. At that moment several other Jounin appeared. They noticed our cloaks and got into fighting positions. "Kakashi, I thought the Akatsuki had disbanded?" One of them said. "What? The Akatsuki disbanded? Since when?" I asked. "You didn't know? I find that hard to believe, considering you're an Akatsuki member yourself." The Jounin said. "Don't worry guys, he's fine." Kakashi said raising a hand. "But sir…" He said. "I said don't worry about it. Tid was never against us." He said. The other Jounin relaxed a little. I guessed knowing the truth about another Akatsuki member helped my case a little. "Why don't you report this to Lord Hokage?" Kakashi asked. "Yes sir." They all said and they left. I breathed a sigh of relief. "Nice to know someone's on my side." I said. "Don't you worry about it, Tid! We know the truth about you!" Guy said flashing his Good-Guy smile and giving me a thumbs up. "Say, Tid, who are these girls? I've never seen them before." He said. "Oh, these are Twilight, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, and Rarity." I said gesturing to each one of them in turn. "Pinkie Pie... Rainbow Dash...? Those are strange names." He said. We walked toward them and they let us into the village. "Would you like us to give you the grand tour?" Guy asked. "Oh, we don't mean to impose." Twilight said. "Don't worry about it, it would be our pleasure!" He said giving his Good-Guy smile again. "Alright, I suppose." She said. Guy leaped high into the air and landed directly in front of us, sending a cloud of dust into the air. "Follow me!" He said. Kakashi sighed. It took everything I had to keep myself from laughing. We followed Guy through the village.

We followed Guy as he marched through the village and gave rudimentary explanations of what everything was. Kakashi or I would often have to re-explain what it was to the girls. "What's that section over there?" Twilight asked pointing to a gate with the Uchiha logo on it. "That is the area of the village reserved for the Uchiha. That's where I used to live." I said. The others stopped and stared at it. The only thing they had heard about that section of the village was the Uchiha Massacre. I turned to Guy and Kakashi. "Mind if I show them around there?" I asked. "Not at all." Kakashi said. I nodded and we walked through the gate.

We walked in silence through the road. "Over there is the Hidden Leaf Police Force. The Uchiha were put in charge of that so we'd keep out of trouble, but I guess that didn't happen." I said. The others stared at it. "I keep seeing that symbol, is it the Uchiha Crest?" Twilight asked. I nodded. "I have it tattooed on my shoulder." I said. "May we see it?" She asked. "Um, no. Sorry." I said. "Why not?" Rainbow Dash asked. I remained silent. "Oh come on, just show us!" She said. Rarity had a look of concern on her face, as she knew why I couldn't show off my tattoo. "I shouldn't have brought it up, just leave it alone." I said. "Girls, we should respect his wishes." Rarity said. "Oh come on, Rarity. You can't tell me you don't want to see it? Don't you want to see your boyfriend shirtless?" Rainbow Dash asked. Rarity and I both blushed. "That's not the kind of thing I wish to see at all!" Rarity said. "Oh my gosh, you've already seen him shirtless, haven't you?" Rainbow Dash asked. "I have not! I'm not into that sort of thing!" Rarity said defensively. "You totally did!" Rainbow Dash said. She could hardly contain her laughter. "I don't want anyone to see me without my cloak on." I said. "Why not? Hiding something?" Rainbow Dash asked. I sighed. "Only two people have seen me without my cloak on in the past two years, one of them by accident, and one I showed." I said. "What are you hiding from us?" She asked. "I… Don't want to talk about it." I said. "Come on Rainbow Dash, he clearly doesn't want to talk about it, so we shouldn't pester him." Twilight said. Rainbow Dash crossed her arms. "Fine." She said. I breathed a sigh of relief.

We continued to walk until we reached my old house. "This is where I lived." I said. I walked up and slid the door open. The others eagerly rushed to peer inside. I walked inside and the others followed. It was exactly as I had left it two years ago. My bed was unkempt and some of my things were scattered about on the floor. My dresser was open and clothes were spilling out of it. A thin layer of dust covered the pictures on top of the dresser and my night stand. I was able to see all of this because the door to my room was open. "This is your house?" Pinkie Pie asked. "Yeah, sorry about the clutter. I know it doesn't look like much, but this was enough." I said. "It is a bit drab, but for what I've seen so far, it looks pretty good." Rarity said. "What's this room?" Pinkie Pie asked. I looked at her and my eyes widened. "Pinkie, please don't go in there!" I said. "Why not?" She asked. "That's my parent's bedroom." I said. "Yeah, so?" She asked. "Pinkie, don't you remember? My parents were killed." I said. She looked at the door, then back at me, then back at the door. "Alright." She said. She walked away from the door and I breathed a sigh of relief.

We left my house and met up with Kakashi and Guy again. "So, how'd it go?" Kakashi asked. "It was really stressful." I said. "I see, I would expect that, with you being an Uchiha." He said. "Wait, so your last name is Uchiha?" Twilight asked. I nodded. "Although, I don't use it very often. Don't get me wrong, I'm proud to be an Uchiha, I just don't use my last name very often." I said. "Well no need to worry about that right now. We still have to show you the rest of the village!" Guy said. I nodded and we continued with the tour. We had gotten no more than ten feet before we heard: "Guy sensei! Wait for me!" He said. We turned around to see Rock Lee running at us. "Lee? What are you doing here?" Guy asked. "Guy sensei, I have come to tell you that I have finished the mission you sent me on!" He said saluting. "Good work, Lee!" Guy said flashing his signature pose. Lee looked at us and nearly fell backwards. "What are the Akatsuki doing here?!" He asked. "Relax, Lee, they aren't evil!" Guy said. "Guy sensei, is this true?" He asked. Guy nodded. He rushed over and gripped my hand in a firm hand shake. "It is nice to meet you!" He said. I was amazed at how bipolar he was acting. He looked over my shoulder and saw the others. He rushed over to Rarity. "You are the most beautiful person I've ever seen! Will you go out with me?" He asked. Rarity blushed. I punched Lee in the back of the head. "Lee, she's already seeing someone." I said to him. The others laughed. "Right, sorry sir." He said holding the back of his head. "What are your names?" He asked. "I'm Rarity, nice to meet you." Rarity said. "My name's Twilight." Twilight said. "I'm Rainbow Dash." Rainbow Dash said. "And I'm Pinkie Pie!" Pinkie Pie said. "Nice to meet you all!" He said saluting. "Lee, since you're back, why don't you take a nice long rest?" Guy asked. "Yes sir!" He said. He then sped off. "Forgive him; he can be a little energetic." Kakashi said. "Ah nonsense! Lee is in his youth, it's good to be energetic!" Guy said. "Er, right. Shouldn't we finish the tour?" Kakashi said. "Right! Follow me!" Guy said.

We continued the tour and they showed us the Hokage Monument. The girls stared at it in fascination. "It's so beautiful!" Rarity said. "You know, at one point I dreamed of having my face up there." I said. I could see Rarity imagining it. "Oh my gosh! Seeing your face immortalized in stone like that, that would be absolutely divine!" She said swooning. Twilight and Pinkie Pie grabbed her. Kakashi walked over to me. "You've got quite the girlfriend there." He said in a low voice. I chuckled. "Yeah, she's amazing." I said. He laughed and we continued on our tour. Eventually we finished the tour and Guy took the girls to go see the Hokage. Kakashi and I walked up to a terrace overlooking the entire village. "Kakashi, how long has it been since I left the village?" I asked. "Two years. A lot has happened since then." He said. "Yeah, I can tell. Tell me, is Tsunade still Hokage?" I asked. "Yes, she is. However, she has chosen the Sixth Hokage." He replied. "What? She has?" I asked turning to look at him. He nodded. "Well, who is it?" I asked. "It's Naruto, of course." He said. "Wow, so he finally did it, eh?" I said. He nodded. "The people of this village have grown stronger, that much is evident. Pretty soon, the village will be full of people who are Kage worthy." I said. Kakashi smiled. "Yes, I suppose that's true. However, we mustn't forget our job. We have to protect this village to make sure that happens." He said. "Actually, that's not my job anymore. I have something else to protect." I said. "I'm taking it you mean that woman, right?" He asked. I nodded. "It's much more than that, but she's what I hold dearest to my heart. I can't let her go." I said. He looked up at the sky. "Tid, do you really love her?" He asked. "Of course I do. I love her with all of my heart, and I would do anything to protect her. I would sacrifice everything, even myself, to make sure she is safe." I said smiling. "Good. I'm glad to hear it. You said there was more you had to protect?" He asked. I nodded. "I have my friends, as well as an entire land called Equestria to protect. I know it sounds crazy, but it's the truth." I said. "Equestria? I've never heard of that place." He said. "I'm not surprised. I didn't know it existed either until I was somehow warped there. Since I arrived there, they treated me like family. After a while, that became my reality. That's why I can't live here anymore. I've already made a new start in that world, and I can't abandon my friends." I said. He smiled. "You know, there's a saying I'm particularly fond of. Do you know what that is?" He asked. I shook my head. "'Those who break the rules are scum. Those who abandon their friends, however, are even worse than scum.' I think you know better than anyone else what that means." He said. "You really think so?" I asked. "I know so. Tid, you've been through a lot in this village, yet you never once turned your back on the people who inhabited it. Your will of fire burns brighter than anything I've seen in quite some time. Now, you've found a new land to protect, one with people you care about, people whom you cherish. If your instincts tell you that living there is the right thing, then I don't doubt it." He said. "You're quite the charm speaker, you know that?" I said. He chuckled. We stood there in silence for a while, looking up at the sky. "Tell me something, Kakashi." I said. "Hmm?" He asked. "How's my brother doing?" I asked. "Your brother? Well, right now he's on another S Rank mission. I expect he'll be back any minute now." He replied. "Do you think I'd be able to see him?" I asked. "I don't see why you wouldn't. After all, he's been worried about you ever since you left the village." He said. I laughed at this. "To think my brother would be worried about me." I said. "You know he's a Jounin now." He said. "My little brother's a Jounin? Well, I guess it's to be expected. He's, what, fifteen now?" I asked. Kakashi laughed. "Well, you certainly do have high expectations for your brother." He said. "Yes, I do. He is my brother after all. I want him to eventually surpass me." I said. "I don't think that's likely, knowing how powerful you are, but I'm certain he can surpass even the Hokage." He said. "You think I'm more powerful than the Hokage? Hardly. I was barely able to defeat a guy who could turn his body to mist, and his partner who could be anywhere he wanted at any time. Something like that would've been a piece of cake for the Hokage." I said. "I think you might've been busy thinking about something else. Am I correct in assuming this?" He asked. I flinched. How had he known? "Yes, it's true. The only reason I had to fight them was to save Rarity." I said. "There, you see? You are a hero after all." He said. "Please don't call me that. I'm far from a hero." I said. At that moment I heard someone walking up the steps. We turned and saw Rarity, Twilight, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie following a man in a Hokage cloak. I recognized him to be Naruto Uzumaki. "Lord Hokage?" I asked. He looked at me. "Well, if it isn't Tid! Where've you been man?" He asked walking up to me. "Um, I've been, around." I said. "Sounds interesting. You can tell me all about it when we catch up at Ichiraku's." He said. "Actually, I have some other business to take care of." I said. "Oh? Well that can wait, can't it? Come on, just one bowl?" He asked. I looked at the others. "Go ahead, dear. We'll find something else to do." Rarity said. Naruto grinned. "See! You're girlfriend agrees with me!" He said. "How did you know... Never mind." I said. "Eh? So you really are dating her? Fantastic! You two make a cute couple!" He said. "Um, thanks." I said. I turned to Kakashi. "It's been nice catching up." I said. He nodded. I followed Naruto down the stairs.

Naruto and I walked through the village. "So, you finally achieved your goal, did you?" I said. He nodded. "Yeah, it's been great!" He said. People gave us strange stares of confusion as they saw the Hokage walking next to an Akatsuki member. "Tell me, where've you been these last two years?" He asked. "It's a long story; I think we should wait until we get there." I said. "Ah, alright. Tell me this though, what do you think of my Hokage cloak?" He asked showing it off. I nearly laughed. "I think it suits you quite well, Naruto." I said. "You really think so?" He said. I nodded. He was still a child inside, but he had definitely matured. "I have to say, Naruto, I'm quite impressed with how much you've matured." I said. "Yeah?" I nodded. "I remember when you were still thirteen years old. You were so loud and obnoxious; I thought you were just doing it for attention. Turns out, I was wrong about you Naruto. You really did become a great ninja." I said. He smiled, showing his teeth. "Thank you!" He said. I patted him on the shoulder. Just then we reached Ichiraku's. We walked in and sat down. Naruto ordered us our bowls of food. "Well, there's a face I haven't seen in a while." Ichiraku said. "It's nice to see you again too, Ichiraku." I said. He nodded and went back to preparing the food. "So, tell me about where you've been." Naruto said turning to me. "Alright. It may start to sound a little crazy, but everything I'm about to tell you is the absolute truth." I said. "Alright, I'll listen." He said. I nodded. I then began to tell him about everything I did since I left the village. I told him about how Itachi had associated me with the Akatsuki, and how we had been partners ever since. I told him about the day that we were transported to Equestria. I told him about all of the adventures I had had there, and how Rarity and I had come to be a couple. I told him about the Mangekyou Rinnegan, and about the Six Paths of Equestria. I also told him about the final battle against Discord, and the current war we were going through. When I had finished Naruto had already gone through six bowls of ramen. "Sounds like a very interesting story." He said. I nodded. I looked down at my bowl. I hadn't touched the steaming bowl yet. "Here, you want my bowl?" I asked him. "You aren't going to eat?" He asked. "Nah, I'm not hungry." I said. He shrugged and took the bowl. He set to work on it right away. "Listen, I haven't much time, and I've come here on some very important business. I need to find Inoichi Yamanaka. Would you mind telling me where I could find him?" I asked. Naruto finished slurping some noodles before answering. "Inoichi? Why would you need him?" He asked. "A friend of mine needs his assistance." I said. "Ah, okay. I believe you can find him in the Interrogation Corpse. He's usually there." He said. I nodded. "Thank you, Naruto. It's been a pleasure." I said. "Same here." He said. I stood up and left him while he was ordering yet another bowl of ramen.

I walked through the village to first find Rarity and the others. I found Rarity at a flower shop. She was smelling some beautiful purple and blue flowers that reminded me a lot of her. She then turned to the lady who ran the shop, which I recognized to be Inoichi's daughter, Ino. She had certainly matured since the last time I had seen her. She had grown a few feet taller, but other than that her hair style and clothing were the same. I walked into the shop. The two looked at me. "Oh, hello Tid." Rarity said. "Tid? I haven't seen you in a long time." Ino said. "I know, it's been a while." I said. Rarity looked between the two of us. "Wait, you two know each other?" Rarity asked. Ino and I both nodded. I walked up to Rarity. "Rarity, Ino and I became friends, then she hated me for a short while, then we became friends again. Unfortunately, right after that I had to leave the village. Isn't that right, Ino?" I asked. She nodded, giving a warm smile. "Oh, and Rarity, I believe I've found out where Inoichi is." I said. "Father? Why are you looking for him?" Ino asked overhearing. "Yes. We need his help with something." I said. "Oh, is that so? Well I could take you to him after my shift." She said. "Thanks, but that won't be necessary. I already know where he is." I said. "Now, now, Tid, I think we should wait until her shift ends. I want to know more about this beautiful lady." Rarity said. I sighed. "Okay, we'll wait." I said. Rarity smiled and hugged me. We released each other and Rarity went to get the others. "Let me ask you something, Tid." Ino said. "Hmm?" I asked. "Are you and Rarity... You know." She asked. I blushed a little. "Yeah, we are." I said. "Oh I'm so happy for you! You two make a cute couple!" She said. "Yeah, I've been told. Even Naruto thinks so." I said. Her eyes widened in surprise. "Really? Even Naruto was able to see it? You two must really love each other a lot." She said. "Yeah, we do. So much so I'd give my life to protect her." I said blushing even more. "Aww! That's so romantic!" She said. I looked at the flowers Rarity had been smelling. I reached down and picked a bundle of them up. I walked over to the counter and placed them on it. Ino looked at the flowers, then at me. "You're buying her flowers, that's so romantic!" She said clasping her hands to her face. My face turned really hot. I must've been beet-red. "Yeah, these flowers remind me a lot of her. Plus, she really seemed to like them, so I'm getting them for her." I said. Ino picked up the bundle and handed it to me. "Aren't you going to charge me for this?" I asked. "Call it a wedding gift." She said. I chuckled and rubbed the back of my head. "We aren't quite there yet. I would explain, but it would take too long." I said. "Ah nonsense, I'm going to be here for another few hours, so we have time." She said. I sighed. "If you really want to hear it, I guess I'll tell you." I said. I told her the whole story and when I was done she looked like she was on the brink of tears. "That story... Touched my heart!" She said. She nearly threw herself over the counter and gave me a hug. When she released I looked down and was lucky that none of the flowers had been crushed. "So you're going to end this war and marry her as soon as you can, right?" She asked. "Of course. I'm doing my very best. I'll even enter the fray myself if I have to." I said. "But what about your promise to not die before you marry her?" She asked. "Don't worry; with her beside me, I'd never die." I said. She smiled. A few moments later Rarity and the others appeared. "Hey, are you finally off yet?" Rainbow Dash asked. Ino looked at the clock. "Yeah." She said. She took off her smock and folded it, putting it somewhere behind the counter. "Ready to go?" She asked. We all nodded and followed Ino.

Rarity and Ino walked side-by-side in front while the others and I walked behind them. They were talking about each other's lives. I didn't really listen, as my mind was on something else. Would Inoichi agree to come with us to Equestria? Would he be willing to leave his daughter behind for the sake of another world? Probably not. After all, why should he care about Equestria? It wasn't his home. A few minutes later we arrived at the Interrogation Corpse where Inoichi stood outside, examining a piece of paper. "Hello dad!" Ino said. He looked up and smiled. "Hello Ino." He said. He looked over and saw the rest of us. "Who are these people? I recognize Tid, but not the others." He said. She turned to us. "These are Rarity, Twilight, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie." She said. "Hello, it's very nice to meet you." He said. I walked up to him. "Inoichi, if it's alright, I've come to ask a favor of you." I said. "A favor? What is it?" He asked. I looked back nervously at the others and they nodded their encouragement. "You see, a friend of mine is in desperate need of assistance. We were hoping you'd come back with us." I said. "Come back with you? To where?" He asked. I shifted my weight nervously and put my hand on the back of my head. "Er, it's kind of hard to explain, but your daughter has heard about this place." I said. He looked at her and she nodded. He remained silent for a while. The others and I, even Ino, waited anxiously to see what his answer would be. "Alright." He said. "You will?" I asked. He nodded. Everyone cheered. "On one condition." He said. "What?" I asked him. "If you can defeat me in a battle, I'll join you." He said. I smiled. "Alright." I said reaching out my hand. He took it and we shook. The terms were set.

The fight was set to take place in the Forest of Death the next day at noon. Rarity and I went out for dinner that night. Luckily, Naruto had insisted on paying for all our meals for the time that we were in the village. We all decided to eat at an all-you-can eat BBQ place. We all sat around for hours chatting with each other and eating our fill. When we had finished we all walked outside. "So, where are we going to stay tonight?" Rainbow Dash asked stretching. "You guys can stay at my house for tonight. Just make sure not to open the door to my parent's room." I said. "Alright, come on everyone." She said walking away. Twilight and Pinkie Pie followed. Rarity and I stayed there, watching them as they walked away. "Come on, I know the perfect spot." I said. I took her hand and led her to the outskirts of the village. "Tid, where are we going?" She asked. "Just trust me." I said smiling. I activated my Mangekyou Rinnegan. I looked up at the Hokage Monument and teleported on top of the Fourth Hokage's head. I held onto Rarity until she became used to the sudden change of location before releasing her. She looked out over the entire village and gasped at its beauty. "It's absolutely magnificent!" She said clasping her hands together. I smiled. "I knew you would like it. I used to come up here all the time... Don't ask me how." I said. "Oh Tid, I'm so glad you brought me up here." She said leaning in closer to me. I wrapped my arm around her. We stared into each other's eyes for a while. We leaned in and kissed, and it seemed as if time itself had stopped. It felt like I had no more cares, no more worries. When we broke apart we sat in each other's embrace, looking over the lit village. Eventually we grew tired and lay back and fell asleep.

We woke up the next morning to the rise of the sun. The bright rays fell into our eyes, practically forcing us to get up. At some point in the night we had cuddled together for warmth. My arm was around her, and she held me with both arms. I considered breaking the hold, but decided to wait a little. She opened her eyes and looked at me. She smiled. "Good morning, darling." She said. "Good morning, my precious gem." I said. We sat up and looked out over the village. The rising sun's rays basked the entire village in a glowing red warmth. I stood up and stretched. "We should probably get to the others." I said. "Yes, that would be a good idea." I said. I helped her stand up and took her hand. I looked around the village for the others. I found them walking around the village looking for us. I activated my Mangekyou Rinnegan and teleported us to them. They flinched in surprise at our sudden appearance. "Hey, where were you two last night?" Rainbow Dash asked. I looked at the Hokage Monument. "Up there." I said. She walked up to me. "I see, a little private time with Rarity, eh? Hope you guys didn't have too much fun." She said elbowing me in the side gently. I blushed. "No, nothing like that happened." I said looking away from her. "Uh-huh, okay." She said. The others laughed, except for Rarity. After that we all headed to the rendezvous point for the battle. We still had a few hours before the battle would begin, so we decided to talk. There wasn't much to talk about, save for the popular topic of being in this world. We talked for hours until Inoichi and his daughter arrived. It was then that the battle would commence.

Me: Finally, after days of typing on an auto-correct cursed iPad, this chapter is finally done.

Tid: It may have taken days, but the moments I spent in this chapter were absolutely magical.
