Redhead
Karin absent mindedly stirred her drink as she waited in the desolate bar.
"Hey, Red." The bartender leaned against the bar. "What's a pretty little thing like you doing in a sleazy place like this?"
Karin just looked at the bartender. "Go fuck yourself."
"You aren't going to get a man with a mouth like that, Red." He returned to polishing glasses. "You know you remind me of a local girl, well she's not really a girl anymore. Same hair, same fiery personality and uncensored mouth. She goes by the name of Kana. I'll pointer out when she shows up, bit of a regular."
"I'm actually waiting for her."
"The clan thing, ae?"
"You know?"
"That she's from a lost clan? Aye." He leaned against the bar. "Names Takashi, by the way."
"Oi, Takashi, why you harassing my date?"
Karin turned to face the doors. In front of them stood a woman in her mid twenties. She had bloody red hair which hung down to her knees in a braid. "Where's my usual? I had to put down a rebellion on the border."
"What no respect for the man who pours your drinks?" Takashi grinned as he grabbed a bottle of brandy.
"Please." Kana then turned face Karin. "So what can you tell me?"
"I need information from you first." Karin hid a smile. "What's your chakra like?"
"Hair isn't enough proof, huh?" Kana gave a short laugh. "I've got loads, but my control's piss poor unless I'm sealing something."
"So you fight with seals mostly?"
"Yeah. I like your chakra by the way. Burns brilliantly."
"You can sense chakra?" Karin raised an eyebrow.
"Surprised?" Kana knocked back her drink. "I'm the best tracker my village has for a reason."
"Not really."
"Well damn." Kana laughed. "What if I said I could absorb your chakra?"
"Still not surprised. Unusual chakra characteristics are a sign of the Uzumaki."
"Uzumaki!" Kana almost choked on her drink. "As in Uzumaki Naruto, Uzumaki."
"The very same."
"Well fuck."
You know those people who spend more time at your flat than their own? Yeah I have one. Actually I have three, but one is an absolute dickhead. He could at least be quiet.
