Chapter 57- Tid Vs Robert

Me: Last time, on-

Tid: How many times do I have to tell you this isn't an anime?

Me: Oh come on, I'm just trying to have a little extra fun with it. I don't own the rights to Naruto Shippuden or My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

I got into a battle position, ready to fight the massive power that stood before me. He ran at me, but even though I had my Mangekyou Rinnegan activated, he still was too fast for me to see. He slammed his fist into my gut, then followed up with a series of powerful punches that sent me flying quite a distance. I landed hard on the ground and managed to rise to my feet. It was no good, I couldn't fight him in my base form. I opened seven Gates at once. I saw him fly at me (seriously, he wasn't even touching the ground) and I reached out to block his punch. I successfully blocked it but he pushed me back quite a ways. He attempted to strike me with his left hand but I blocked that punch too. It was like holding back a freight-train. I gathered up my strength and managed to push him back in a burst of strength, then followed up with a roundhouse kick to the jaw. He was sent flying back a little ways and I used this opportunity to strike him as many times as possible. I kept punching and kicking in key areas, causing him to become less and less able to react.

This continued for a few seconds before he blocked one of my kicks, grabbing my ankle and tossing me into the air. I ignited my body and attempted to use a single-man Frontal Lotus maneuver but he met me in the air with even greater force, causing me to stop abruptly. He grabbed me by the neck and slammed me into the ground. I coughed up blood when we impacted the ground. He pulled his fist back, still holding my neck. He brought it forward but before it could hit me his arm was stopped by my chains. I pulled my arms out from under him and weaved hand signs. "Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!" I said blowing the fire directly into his face. He staggered backwards holding his face which was now smoking. I stood up and used the free moment I had to catch my breath. He brought his hands down from his face and glared at me with even more rage, if that was possible. He ran at me and I countered by dodging his attack. His speed and power were truly almost equal to that of a tailed beast. Luckily I had fought a tailed beast once before. I looked at him and my eyes widened. His aura had grown stronger, and manifested itself into two tails. "No fucking way." I said exasperatedly. This was too much like a tailed beast battle.

I ran at him and teleported behind him. I was about to punch him but a tail smacked me and sent me flying. The area where it struck stung like I had been poisoned. I looked down to see Robert jumping up to smash me in the air. I teleported to avoid his attack. I weaved hand signs. "Fire Style: Flaming Dragon Fist!" I said. Robert flew at me with incredible speeds just as my right hand ignited, the flames forming into a dragon head. I punched him with all of my might as he got closer and sent him flying backwards. I grinned, but I was out of breath. He regained his balance and rushed toward me, grabbing my neck. His aura, or tailed beast cloak, was burning my skin. I winced from the pain and continued to struggle for air. He raised me off of the ground and punched me in the face, sending me high into the air. He jumped and slammed both of his fists into my stomach, causing me to cough up more blood. This was looking very bad for me. I had to do something to turn the tide of the battle, and fast.

I landed on the ground and he landed a few yards away. Then I remembered one thing I could do. He ran at me and I grabbed his throat, stopping him. I began to drain his energy, causing his cloak to flicker. I've never felt such pure rage before. I thought as I drained his energy. He punched me and sent me flying away, interrupting the energy drain. I landed on my feet and grinned, for I knew I had enough energy to perform the technique. I raised my right arm in front of me, my palm facing him. The energy began to gather in my palm and a sphere of pure black energy formed. It was several times larger than the other times I had used the technique, which surprised me. I fired the sphere directly at him, hoping for a direct hit. He reached out and batted the sphere into a nearby tree, which was instantly crushed by the massive force of the energy. The ball then began to condense and exploded into the Mangekyou Black Hole. I held myself in place using my chains, and watched as Robert struggled against the intense gravitational pull. I grinned, knowing I had won.

Robert continued to struggle against the black hole. To my surprise he was actually able to resist it. "How?! Even a tailed beast can't resist the awesome gravitational pull!" I said in disbelief. I closed the Mangekyou Black Hole and released my chains. I scowled. There was no beating this guy. That's it, this calls for drastic measures. I thought. I began to weave hand signs. No matter what I had to pull of this jutsu. He ran at me and I kicked him in the face, still weaving hand signs. I used my Mangekyou Rinnegan to teleport behind him. He turned to face me and raised his fist. I teleported just as he smashed the ground where I had been only nanoseconds previously. I finished weaving hand signs and he ran at me once more. I punched him full-force and sent him backward. I then opened my mouth and four Dragon Flame Kings burst into existence. They flew in separate directions, stopping in a square formation that encompassed several kilometers; with me in the very center. They all turned to face me. I raised two fingers above my head. They all began to collect spheres of energy in their mouths. "This is the end. No one can survive my signature attack." I said. He looked at me, then at each of the dragons, then at me again. He ran at me but I smiled. "It's too late!" I said. I brought my fingers down in front of me. "Fire Style: Burning Land Devastation!" I said. The dragons chomped down on the spheres of energy and released a great blast of fire that filled the square area. Robert punched me just as they did this. I was sent flying as the flames encompassed the both of us.

I opened my mouth and began absorbing the fire, regaining some energy. I landed and the flames continued to flow for a few seconds. Eventually it stopped, leaving nothing but charred trees and small fires everywhere. Smoke filled the sky. Embers were blown around by the wind. I stood there, panting from the massive amount of Chakra I had expended. I looked around for any sign of Robert, and for a moment, I was satisfied. Then my eyes widened as a silhouette started walking toward me through the fire. "No, that's impossible! You should be dead by now!" I said in disbelief. He emerged from the smoke, severely burned, but not dead. I backed up as he approached. What would it take to kill him? He stopped and got on all fours. I stopped in wonder at what he was doing. He opened his mouth and a black sphere of pure energy formed before him. I had seen this attack before. There was no way he was capable of performing such a technique. I released my chains. The battle was entering the final stages at this point. He must not have too much energy left, and I was running low on Chakra. The sphere grew to a massive size. It was about the size of Rarity's finished Planetary Devastation (and that was saying something). He fired the sphere at me and I readied my chains. I threw them up in the sir as it approached and slid underneath it. It was a tight fit as it was soaring only three feet from the ground. I could feel the energy radiating from the sphere as it flew over me. I grabbed the end of the chain that wasn't attached to my body with my left hand and held onto it with all of my might. The sphere met my chains and it continued to fly. I was pulled back as it continued on it's path. I had done this only once before, and it was incredibly difficult to pull off. I almost failed the first time. I dug my feet into the ground, trying to slow the sphere's momentum. It gradually slowed down, but still pulled me with enough force to make trench marks with my feet. I yelled with effort as I pulled with all my might. The sphere eventually stopped and I flung it back at him. It soured over my head with just as much force as it had come. The sphere flew toward Robert. As it approached he dodged it, letting it collide with a mountain that was behind him. The sphere exploded in a large dome of energy that completely desolated the mountain. The shock wave could still be felt from where I was standing, bringing with it a great gale that forced me to shield myself. I peered at Robert through the gaps between my arms. He too had to shield himself from the forceful winds that buffeted the both of us. After several seconds the wind stopped and I lowered my arms. I clutched my knees, panting. He was again on all fours, but he was also exhausted. This battle wouldn't last much longer now.

I stood up straight once I had caught my breath and slowly walked toward him. There was only one thing I could do to end this fight now. Killing him was beyond my capabilities in this state. He watched as I approached. He tried to stand but he had exerted too much energy. He collapsed back to the ground. I walked over to him and grabbed the back of his neck and began draining his energy. The only way to beat him was to drain him of all his energy. His aura began to flicker and fade as his energy drained away from his body. Eventually his aura faded away completely. I stood up and stretched as Robert slipped into unconsciousness. I could feel the energy inside of me. It felt... Different from my Chakra. I didn't think I would be able to use it as a Chakra substitute, which was bad news since I had very little Chakra left, and I still had to fight the Queen of Nightmares herself. I sighed and started concentrating to find Nightmare Moon. Chakra or no, I had a war to win.

Me: Whew, that was incredible if I do say so myself.

Tid: How on earth am I going to defeat Nightmare Moon now? I have no Chakra left!

Me: Calm down. I can't reveal anything about the next chapter yet. Anyway, favorite, follow, and leave a review! See ya next time!
